Psalms 25
1 Ti Dafidi. Olúwa, ìwọ ni mo gbé ọkàn mi sókè sí.
By David. Unto Thee, O Jehovah, my soul I lift up.
2 Ọlọ́run, èmi gbẹ́kẹ̀lé ọ; má ṣe jẹ́ kí ojú ó tì mí má ṣe jẹ́ kí àwọn ọ̀tá mi ó yọ̀ mí.
My God, in Thee I have trusted, Let me not be ashamed, Let not mine enemies exult over me.
3 Ẹni tí ó dúró tì ọ́ ojú kì yóò tì í, àwọn tí ń ṣẹ̀ láìnídìí ni kí ojú kí ó tì.
Also let none waiting on Thee be ashamed, Let the treacherous dealers without cause be ashamed.
4 Fi ọ̀nà rẹ hàn mí, Olúwa, kọ mi ní ipa tìrẹ;
Thy ways, O Jehovah, cause me to know, Thy paths teach Thou me.
5 ṣe amọ̀nà mi nínú òtítọ́ ọ̀ rẹ, kí o sì kọ́ mi, nítorí ìwọ ni Ọlọ́run ìgbàlà mi; ìwọ ni mo dúró tì ní gbogbo ọjọ́.
Cause me to tread in Thy truth, and teach me, For Thou [art] the God of my salvation, Near Thee I have waited all the day.
6 Rántí, Olúwa àánú àti ìfẹ́ ẹ̀ rẹ̀ ńlá, torí pé wọ́n ti wà ní ìgbà àtijọ́.
Remember Thy mercies, O Jehovah, And Thy kindnesses, for from the age [are] they.
7 Má ṣe rántí àwọn ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ìgbà èwe mi tàbí ìrékọjá mi; gẹ́gẹ́ bí i ìfẹ́ ẹ rẹ̀ rántí mi nítorí tí ìwọ dára, Ìwọ! Olúwa.
Sins of my youth, and my transgressions, Do not Thou remember. According to Thy kindness be mindful of me, For Thy goodness' sake, O Jehovah.
8 Rere àti ẹni ìdúró ṣinṣin ní Olúwa: nítorí náà, ó kọ́ àwọn ẹlẹ́ṣẹ̀ ni ọ̀nà náà.
Good and upright [is] Jehovah, Therefore He directeth sinners in the way.
9 Ó ṣe amọ̀nà àwọn onírẹ̀lẹ̀ ni ohun tí ó dára, ó sì kọ́ àwọn onírẹ̀lẹ̀ ní ọ̀nà rẹ̀.
He causeth the humble to tread in judgment, And teacheth the humble His way.
10 Gbogbo ipa ọ̀nà Olúwa ni ìfẹ́ àti òdodo tí ó dúró ṣinṣin, fún àwọn tí ó pa májẹ̀mú àti ẹ̀rí rẹ̀ mọ́.
All the paths of Jehovah [are] kindness and truth, To those keeping His covenant, And His testimonies.
11 Nítorí orúkọ rẹ, Olúwa, dárí ẹ̀bi ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ mi jì mí, nítorí tí ó tóbi.
For Thy name's sake, O Jehovah, Thou hast pardoned mine iniquity, for it [is] great.
12 Àwọn wo ni ó bẹ̀rù Olúwa? Yóò kọ́ wọn ní ọ̀nà èyí tí wọn yóò yàn.
Who [is] this — the man fearing Jehovah? He directeth him in the way He doth choose.
13 Wọn yóò lo ọjọ́ wọn nínú àlàáfíà, àwọn ọmọ wọn yóò sì gba ilẹ̀ náà.
His soul in good doth remain, And his seed doth possess the land.
14 Olúwa fi ọkàn tán, àwọn tí o bẹ̀rù u rẹ̀; ó sọ májẹ̀mú rẹ̀ di mí mọ̀ fún wọn.
The secret of Jehovah [is] for those fearing Him, And His covenant — to cause them to know.
15 Ojú mi gbé sókè sọ́dọ̀ Olúwa, nítorí pé yóò yọ ẹsẹ̀ mi kúrò nínú àwọ̀n náà.
Mine eyes [are] continually unto Jehovah, For He bringeth out from a net my feet.
16 Yípadà sí mi, kí o sì ṣe oore fún mi; nítorí pé mo nìkan wà, mo sì di olùpọ́njú.
Turn Thou unto me, and favour me, For lonely and afflicted [am] I.
17 Tì mí lẹ́yìn kúrò nínú ìpọ́njú àyà mi; kí o sì fà mí yọ kúrò nínú ìpọ́njú mi.
The distresses of my heart have enlarged themselves, From my distresses bring me out.
18 Kíyèsi ìjìyà àti wàhálà mi, kí o sì dárí gbogbo ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ mi jì.
See mine affliction and my misery, And bear with all my sins.
19 Kíyèsi ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ àwọn ọ̀tá mi, tí wọn kórìíra mi pẹ̀lú ìwà ìkà wọn.
See my enemies, for they have been many, And with violent hatred they have hated me.
20 Pa ọkàn mi mọ́, kí o sì gbà mí sílẹ̀; má ṣe jẹ́ kí a fi mí sínú ìtìjú, nítorí pé ìwọ ni ibi ìsádi mi.
Keep my soul, and deliver me, Let me not be ashamed, for I trusted in Thee.
21 Jẹ́ kí òtítọ́ inú àti ìdúró ṣinṣin kí ó pa mí mọ́; nítorí pé mo dúró tì ọ́.
Integrity and uprightness do keep me, For I have waited [on] Thee.
22 Ra Israẹli padà, Ìwọ Ọlọ́run, nínú gbogbo ìṣòro rẹ̀!
Redeem Israel, O God, from all his distresses!
