Psalms 23

1 Saamu ti Dafidi. Olúwa ni olùṣọ́ èmi àgùntàn rẹ̀, èmi kì yóò ṣe aláìní.

A PSALM OF DAVID. YHWH [is] my shepherd, I do not lack,

2 Ó mú mi dùbúlẹ̀ sí ibi pápá oko tútù, Ó mú mi lọ sí ibi omi dídákẹ́ rọ́rọ́,

He causes me to lie down in pastures of tender grass, He leads me by quiet waters.

3 Ó mú ọkàn mi padà bọ̀ sípò. Ó mú mi lọ sí ọ̀nà òdodo nítorí orúkọ rẹ̀.

He refreshes my soul, He leads me in paths of righteousness For His Name’s sake;

4 Bí mo tilẹ̀ ń rìn láàrín àfonífojì òjìji ikú, èmi kì yóò bẹ̀rù ibi kan, nítorí ìwọ wà pẹ̀lú mi; ọ̀gọ rẹ àti ọ̀pá à rẹ, wọ́n ń tù mí nínú.

Also—when I walk in a valley of death-shade, I fear no evil, for You [are] with me, Your rod and Your staff—they comfort me.

5 Ìwọ tẹ́ tábìlì oúnjẹ sílẹ̀ níwájú mi ní ojú àwọn ọ̀tá à mi. Ìwọ ta òróró sí mi ní orí; ago mí sì kún àkúnwọ́sílẹ̀.

You arrange a table before me, In front of my adversaries, You have anointed my head with oil, My cup is full!

6 Nítòótọ́, ìre àti àánú ni yóò máa tọ̀ mí lẹ́yìn ní ọjọ́ ayé è mi gbogbo, èmi yóò sì máa gbé inú ilé Olúwa títí láéláé.

Surely goodness and kindness pursue me All the days of my life, And my dwelling [is] in the house of YHWH, For [the] length of [my] days!
