Psalms 145
1 Saamu ìyìn. Ti Dafidi. Èmi yóò gbé ọ ga, Ọlọ́run ọba mi; èmi yóò yin orúkọ rẹ̀ láé àti láéláé.
My God and King, I will proclaim that you are very great/glorious; I will praise you [MTY] now and forever.
2 Ní ojoojúmọ́ èmi yóò yìn ọ́ èmi yóò sì pòkìkí orúkọ rẹ láé àti láéláé.
Every day I will praise you; [Yes], I will praise you [MTY] forever.
3 Títóbi ni Olúwa. Òun sì ni ó yẹ láti fi ìyìn fún púpọ̀púpọ̀: kò sí ẹni tí ó lè wọn títóbi rẹ̀.
Yahweh you are great, and (you ought to be praised/people should praise you) very much; [we] cannot fully realize how great you are.
4 Ìran kan yóò máa yin iṣẹ́ rẹ dé ìran mìíràn; wọn yóò máa sọ iṣẹ́ agbára rẹ.
Parents should tell their children the things that you have done; they should tell their children about your mighty deeds.
5 Wọn yóò máa sọ ìyìn ọláńlá rẹ tí ó lógo, èmi yóò máa ṣe àṣàrò nínú iṣẹ́ ìyanu rẹ.
They should tell them that you are very glorious and majestic [DOU], and I will (meditate on/think about) [all] your wonderful deeds.
6 Wọn yóò sọ iṣẹ́ agbára rẹ tí ó ní ẹ̀rù èmi yóò kéde iṣẹ́ ńlá rẹ̀.
People will speak about your powerful and awesome deeds, and I will proclaim that you are [very] great.
7 Wọn yóò ṣe ìrántí ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ìwà rere rẹ àti orin ayọ̀ òdodo rẹ.
People will remember and proclaim that you are very good [to us], and they will sing joyfully that you [always act] justly/fairly.
8 Olóore-ọ̀fẹ́ ni Olúwa àti aláàánú ó lọ́ra láti bínú ó sì ní ìfẹ́ púpọ̀.
Yahweh, you [are] kind and merciful [to us]; you do not quickly become angry; you faithfully love [us] very much.
9 Olúwa dára sí ẹni gbogbo; ó ní àánú lórí ohun gbogbo tí ó dá.
Yahweh, you are good to everyone, and you are merciful to everything that you have made.
10 Gbogbo ohun tí ìwọ ti dá ni yóò máa yìn ọ́ Olúwa; àwọn ẹni mímọ́ yóò máa pòkìkí rẹ.
Yahweh, [all] the creatures that you [made] will thank you, and all your people will praise you.
11 Wọn yóò sọ ògo ìjọba rẹ wọn yóò sì sọ̀rọ̀ agbára rẹ,
They will tell [others] that you rule gloriously as [our] king and that you are [very] powerful.
12 kí gbogbo ènìyàn le mọ iṣẹ́ agbára rẹ̀ àti ọláńlá ìjọba rẹ tí ó lógo.
[They will do that] in order that everyone will know about your powerful deeds and that you rule [over us] gloriously.
13 Ìjọba rẹ ìjọba ayérayé ni, àti ìjọba rẹ wà ní gbogbo ìrandíran.
You will never stop being king; you [will] rule (throughout all generations/forever). Yahweh, you faithfully do all that you have promised to do, and all that you do, you do mercifully.
14 Olúwa mú gbogbo àwọn tí ó ṣubú ró ó sì gbé gbogbo àwọn tí ó tẹríba dìde.
Yahweh, you help all those who are discouraged and you lift up all those who (stumble and fall down/are distressed).
15 Ojú gbogbo ènìyàn ń wò ọ́, ó sì fún wọn ní oúnjẹ wọn ní àkókò tí ó yẹ.
All of the creatures that you made expect that you [will provide food for them], and you give them food when they need it.
16 Ìwọ ṣí ọwọ́ rẹ ìwọ sì tẹ́ ìfẹ́ gbogbo ohun alààyè lọ́rùn.
You give food to all living creatures generously [IDM], and you cause them to (be satisfied/have all the food that they need).
17 Olúwa jẹ́ olódodo ní gbogbo ọ̀nà rẹ̀ àti ìfẹ́ rẹ̀ sí gbogbo ohun tí o dá.
Everything that Yahweh does, he does justly/fairly, and all that he does, he does mercifully.
18 Olúwa wà ní tòsí gbogbo àwọn tí ń ké pè é, sí gbogbo ẹni tí ń ké pè é ní òtítọ́.
Yahweh (comes near to/is ready to help) all those who call out to him, to those who call to him sincerely.
19 Ó mú ìfẹ́ àwọn tí ó bẹ̀rù rẹ̀ ṣẹ; ó gbọ́ igbe wọn, ó sì gbà wọ́n.
To all those who revere him, he gives them what they need. He hears them when they cry out to him, and saves/rescues them.
20 Olúwa dá gbogbo àwọn tí ó ní ìfẹ́ sẹ sí ṣùgbọ́n gbogbo àwọn ẹni búburú ní yóò parun.
Yahweh protects all those who love him, but he will get rid of all the wicked [people].
21 Ẹnu mi yóò sọ̀rọ̀ ìyìn Olúwa. Jẹ́ kí gbogbo ẹ̀dá yín orúkọ rẹ̀ mímọ́ láé àti láéláé.
I [SYN] will always praise Yahweh; [He is] holy; and I wish/hope that everyone will praise him [MTY] forever.
