< Psalms 136 >

1 Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Olúwa nítorí tí ó ṣeun;
Alleluya. Knouleche ye to the Lord, for he is good, for his merci is withouten ende.
2 Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Ọlọ́run àwọn ọlọ́run:
Knouleche ye to the God of goddis.
3 Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Olúwa àwọn olúwa,
Knouleche ye to the Lord of lordis.
4 Fún Òun nìkan tí ń ṣiṣẹ́ ìyanu ńlá;
Which aloone makith grete merueils.
5 Fún ẹni tí ó fi ọgbọ́n dá ọ̀run;
Which made heuenes bi vndurstondyng.
6 Fún ẹni tí ó tẹ́ ilẹ̀ lórí omi;
Which made stidefast erthe on watris.
7 Fún ẹni tí ó dá àwọn ìmọ́lẹ̀ ńlá;
Which made grete liytis.
8 Òòrùn láti jẹ ọba ọ̀sán;
The sunne in to the power of the dai.
9 Òṣùpá àti ìràwọ̀ láti jẹ ọba òru;
The moone and sterris in to the power of the niyt.
10 Fún ẹni tí ó kọlu Ejibiti lára àwọn àkọ́bí wọn;
Which smoot Egipt with the firste gendrid thingis of hem.
11 Ó sì mú Israẹli jáde kúrò láàrín wọn;
Which ledde out Israel fro the myddil of hem.
12 Pẹ̀lú ọwọ́ agbára àti apá nínà;
In a miyti hond and in an hiy arm.
13 Fún ẹni tí ó pín Òkun pupa ní ìyà;
Whiche departide the reed see in to departyngis.
14 Ó sì mú Israẹli kọjá láàrín rẹ̀
And ledde out Israel thoruy the myddil therof.
15 Ṣùgbọ́n ó bi Farao àti ogun rẹ̀ ṣubú nínú Òkun pupa;
And he `caste a down Farao and his pouer in the reed see.
16 Fún ẹni tí ó sin àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ la aginjù já
Which ledde ouer his puple thoruy desert.
17 Fún ẹni tí ó kọlu àwọn ọba ńlá;
Which smoot grete kingis.
18 Ó sì pa àwọn ọba olókìkí
And killide strong kingis.
19 Sihoni, ọba àwọn ará Amori
Seon, the king of Amorreis.
20 Àti Ogu, ọba Baṣani;
And Og, the king of Baasan.
21 Ó sì fi ilẹ̀ wọn fún ni ní ìní,
And he yaf the lond of hem eritage.
22 Ìní fún Israẹli, ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀,
Eritage to Israel, his seruaunt.
23 Ẹni tí ó rántí wa ní ìwà ìrẹ̀lẹ̀ wa;
For in oure lownesse he hadde mynde on vs.
24 Ó sì dá wa ní ìdè lọ́wọ́ àwọn ọ̀tá wa;
And he ayenbouyte vs fro oure enemyes.
25 Ẹni tí ó fi oúnjẹ fún àwọn ẹ̀dá gbogbo
Which yyueth mete to ech fleisch. Knouleche ye to God of heuene.
26 Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Ọlọ́run ọ̀run;
Knouleche ye to the Lord of lordis; for his merci is with outen ende.
