< Psalms 135 >

1 Ẹ yin Olúwa. Ẹ yin orúkọ Olúwa; ẹ yìn ín, ẹ̀yin ìránṣẹ́ Olúwa.
Alleluia. Praise the name of the Lord. You servants, praise the Lord.
2 Ẹ̀yin tí ń dúró ní ilé Olúwa, nínú àgbàlá ilé Ọlọ́run wa.
You who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God:
3 Ẹ yin Olúwa: nítorí tí Olúwa ṣeun; ẹ kọrin ìyìn sí orúkọ rẹ̀; nítorí tí ó dùn.
praise the Lord, for the Lord is good. Sing psalms to his name, for it is sweet.
4 Nítorí tí Olúwa ti yan Jakọbu fún ara rẹ̀; àní Israẹli fún ìṣúra ààyò rẹ̀.
For the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself, Israel for his own possession.
5 Nítorí tí èmi mọ̀ pé Olúwa tóbi, àti pé Olúwa jù gbogbo òrìṣà lọ.
For I have known that the Lord is great, and our God is before all gods.
6 Olúwa ṣe ohunkóhun tí ó wù ú, ní ọ̀run àti ní ayé, ní Òkun àti ní ọ̀gbun gbogbo.
All things whatsoever that he willed, the Lord did: in heaven, on earth, in the sea, and in all the deep places.
7 Ó mú ìkùùkuu gòkè láti òpin ilẹ̀ wá: ó dá mọ̀nàmọ́ná fún òjò: ó ń mú afẹ́fẹ́ ti inú ilẹ̀ ìṣúra rẹ̀ wá.
He leads clouds from the ends of the earth. He has created lightnings in the rain. He has produced winds from his storehouses.
8 Ẹni tí ó kọlu àwọn àkọ́bí Ejibiti, àti ti ènìyàn àti ti ẹranko.
He struck the first-born of Egypt, from man even to cattle.
9 Ẹni tí ó rán iṣẹ́ àmì àti iṣẹ́ ìyanu sí àárín rẹ̀, ìwọ Ejibiti, sí ara Farao àti sí ara àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ gbogbo.
He sent signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt: upon Pharaoh and upon all his servants.
10 Ẹni tí ó kọlu àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè púpọ̀, tí ó sì pa àwọn alágbára ọba.
He has struck many nations, and he has slaughtered strong kings:
11 Sihoni, ọba àwọn ará Amori, àti Ogu, ọba Baṣani, àti gbogbo ìjọba Kenaani:
Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan.
12 Ó sì fi ilẹ̀ wọn fún ni ní ìní, ìní fún Israẹli, ènìyàn rẹ̀.
And he gave their land as an inheritance, as an inheritance for his people Israel.
13 Olúwa orúkọ rẹ dúró láéláé; ìrántí rẹ Olúwa, láti ìrandíran.
Your name, O Lord, is in eternity. Your memorial, O Lord, is from generation to generation.
14 Nítorí tí Olúwa yóò ṣe ìdájọ́ àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀, yóò sì ṣe ìyọ́nú sí àwọn ọmọ ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ̀.
For the Lord will judge his people, and he will be petitioned by his servants.
15 Fàdákà òun wúrà ni èrè àwọn aláìkọlà, iṣẹ́ ọwọ́ ènìyàn ni.
The idols of the Gentiles are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men.
16 Wọ́n ní ẹnu, ṣùgbọ́n wọn kò le sọ̀rọ̀; wọ́n ní ojú, ṣùgbọ́n wọn kò fi ríran.
They have a mouth, and do not speak. They have eyes, and do not see.
17 Wọ́n ní etí, ṣùgbọ́n wọn kò fi gbọ́rọ̀; bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kò si èémí kan ní ẹnu wọn.
They have ears, and do not hear. For neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 Àwọn tí ń ṣe wọ́n dàbí wọn: gẹ́gẹ́ bẹ́ẹ̀ ni olúkúlùkù ẹni tí ó gbẹ́kẹ̀ rẹ̀ lé wọn.
Let those who make them become like them, along with all who trust in them.
19 Ẹ̀yin ara ilé Israẹli, ẹ fi ìbùkún fún Olúwa, ẹ̀yin ará ilé Aaroni, fi ìbùkún fún Olúwa.
Bless the Lord, O house of Israel. Bless the Lord, O house of Aaron.
20 Ẹ̀yin ará ilé Lefi, fi ìbùkún fún Olúwa; ẹ̀yin tí ó bẹ̀rù Olúwa, fi ìbùkún fún Olúwa.
Bless the Lord, O house of Levi. You who fear the Lord, bless the Lord.
21 Olùbùkún ni Olúwa, láti Sioni wá, tí ń gbé Jerusalẹmu. Ẹ fi ìyìn fún Olúwa.
The Lord is blessed from Zion, by those who dwell in Jerusalem.
