< Psalms 130 >
1 Orin fún ìgòkè. Láti inú ibú wá ni èmi ń ké pè é ọ́ Olúwa
A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. Lord, I cry out to you from the depths of my pain.
2 Olúwa, gbóhùn mi, jẹ́ kí etí rẹ kí o tẹ́ sílẹ̀ sí ohùn ẹ̀bẹ̀ mi.
Please listen to my cry, and pay attention to what I'm asking.
3 Olúwa, ìbá ṣe pé kí ìwọ máa sàmì ẹ̀ṣẹ̀, Olúwa, tá ni ìbá dúró.
Lord, if you kept a list of sins, who could escape being condemned?
4 Nítorí ìdáríjì wà lọ́dọ̀ rẹ, kí a lè máa bẹ̀rù rẹ.
But you are forgiving so that we might respect you.
5 Èmi dúró de Olúwa, ọkàn mi dúró, àti nínú ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ ni èmi ń ṣe ìrètí.
I'm waiting for the Lord, longingly waiting, for I trust in his word.
6 Ọkàn mi dúró de Olúwa, ju àwọn tí ń ṣọ́nà òwúrọ̀ lọ, àní ju àwọn tí ń ṣọ́nà òwúrọ̀ lọ.
I long for the Lord to come, more than watchmen longing for the dawn to come, more than watchmen longing for the dawn to come.
7 Israẹli, ìwọ ní ìrètí ní ti Olúwa: nítorí pé lọ́dọ̀ Olúwa ni àánú wà, àti lọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀ ni ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ìdáǹdè wà.
Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for the Lord loves us with a trustworthy love and his salvation knows no limits.
8 Òun ó sì dá Israẹli ní ìdè kúrò nínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ rẹ̀ gbogbo.
He will save Israel from every sin.
