< Psalms 13 >
1 Fún adarí orin. Saamu ti Dafidi. Yóò ti pẹ́ tó, Olúwa? Ìwọ o ha gbàgbé mi títí láé? Yóò tí pẹ́ tó tí ìwọ yóò máa fi ojú rẹ pamọ́ fún mi?
[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2 Yóò ti pẹ́ tó tí èmi ó máa bá èrò mi jà, àti ní ojoojúmọ́ ni èmi ń ní ìbànújẹ́ ní ọkàn mi? Yóò ti pẹ́ tó tí àwọn ọ̀tá mi yóò máa borí mi?
How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? How long shall my enemy triumph over me?
3 Wò mí kí o sì dá mi lóhùn, Olúwa Ọlọ́run mi. Fi ìmọ́lẹ̀ fún ojú mi, kí èmi ó má sún oorun ikú.
Look, and answer me, LORD, my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;
4 Ọ̀tá mi wí pé, “Èmi ti ṣẹ́gun rẹ̀,” àwọn ọ̀tá mi yóò yọ̀ tí mo bá ṣubú.
Lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed against him," and my adversaries rejoice when I fall.
5 Ṣùgbọ́n mo gbẹ́kẹ̀lé ìfẹ́ rẹ tí kì í kùnà; ọkàn mi ń yọ̀ nínú ìgbàlà rẹ.
But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 Èmi ó máa kọrin sí Olúwa, nítorí ó dára sí mi.
I will sing to the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me, and I will sing to the name of the LORD Most High.
