< Psalms 126 >
1 Orin fún ìgòkè. Nígbà tí Olúwa mú ìkólọ Sioni padà, àwa dàbí ẹni tí ó ń lá àlá.
A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. When the Lord brought his people back from captivity to Zion, it was as if we were dreaming!
2 Nígbà náà ni ẹnu wa kún fún ẹ̀rín, àti ahọ́n wa kọ orin; nígbà náà ni wọ́n wí nínú àwọn kèfèrí pé, Olúwa ṣe ohun ńlá fún wọn.
We laughed so much, we sang for joy. The other nations said, “The Lord has done wonderful things for these people.”
3 Olúwa ṣe ohun ńlá fún wa; nítorí náà àwa ń yọ̀.
The Lord certainly has done wonderful things for us. How happy we were!
4 Olúwa mú ìkólọ wa padà, bí ìṣàn omi ní gúúsù.
Please return and help us again, Lord. Renew us like streams of water that renew the Negev desert.
5 Àwọn tí ń fi omijé fún irúgbìn yóò fi ayọ̀ ka.
Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy!
6 Ẹni tí ń fi ẹkún rìn lọ, tí ó sì gbé irúgbìn lọ́wọ́, lóòtítọ́, yóò fi ayọ̀ padà wá, yóò sì ru ìtí rẹ̀.
Those who weep as they go out to sow their seed will be singing in celebration when they carry the harvest home.
