Psalms 125

1 Orin fún ìgòkè. Àwọn tí ó gbẹ́kẹ̀lé Olúwa yóò dàbí òkè Sioni, tí a kò lè ṣí ní ìdí, bí kò ṣe pé ó dúró láéláé.

[A Song of Ascents.] Those who trust in Jehovah are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but remains forever.

2 Bí òkè ńlá ti yí Jerusalẹmu ká, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Olúwa yí ènìyàn ká láti ìsinsin yìí lọ àti títí láéláé.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Jehovah surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore.

3 Nítorí tí ọ̀pá àwọn ènìyàn búburú kì yóò bà lé ìpín àwọn olódodo; kí àwọn olódodo kí ó máa ba à fi ọwọ́ wọn lé ẹ̀ṣẹ̀.

For the scepter of wickedness won't remain over the allotment of the righteous; so that the righteous won't use their hands to do evil.

4 Olúwa ṣe rere fún àwọn ẹni rere, àti fún àwọn tí àyà wọn dúró ṣinṣin.

Do good, Jehovah, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.

5 Bí ó ṣe ti irú àwọn tí wọn yà sí ipa ọ̀nà wíwọ́ wọn; Olúwa yóò jẹ́ kí wọn lọ pẹ̀lú àwọn oníṣẹ́ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀. Ṣùgbọ́n àlàáfíà yóò wà lórí Israẹli.

But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them away with evildoers. Peace be on Israel.
