< Psalms 121 >

1 Orin fún ìgòkè. Èmi yóò gbé ojú mi sórí òkè wọ̀n-ọn-nì— níbo ni ìrànlọ́wọ́ mi yóò ti wá?
A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. I look to the hills—but is that where my help comes from?
2 Ìrànlọ́wọ́ mi tí ọwọ́ Olúwa wá, ẹni tí ó dá ọ̀run òun ayé.
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
3 Òun kì yóò jẹ́ kí ẹsẹ̀ rẹ kí ó yẹ̀; ẹni tí ó pa ọ́ mọ́ kì í tòògbé.
He will not let you fall; he who watches over you won't fall asleep.
4 Kíyèsi, ẹni tí ń pa Israẹli mọ́, kì í tòògbé bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kì í sùn.
In fact he who watches over you doesn't take naps or fall asleep.
5 Olúwa ni olùpamọ́ rẹ; Olúwa ní òjìji rẹ ní ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ.
The Lord keeps watch over you; the Lord protects you; he stands right beside you.
6 Oòrùn kì yóò pa ọ́ ní ìgbà ọ̀sán tàbí òṣùpá ní ìgbà òru.
The sun won't hurt you during the day, nor the moon at night.
7 Olúwa yóò pa ọ́ mọ́ kúrò nínú ibi gbogbo yóò pa ọkàn rẹ mọ́
The Lord will protect you from all kinds of evil; he will keep you safe and sound.
8 Olúwa yóò pa àlọ àti ààbọ̀ rẹ mọ́ láti ìgbà yìí lọ àti títí láéláé.
The Lord will look after you when you leave, and when you return, now and forever.
