< Psalms 108 >

1 Orin. Saamu ti Dafidi. Ọlọ́run, ọkàn mi dúró ṣinṣin èmi ó máa kọrin, èmi ó máa fi ọkàn mi kọrin.
A Song, a Melody: David’s. Fixed, is my heart, O God, I will sing and touch the strings, even mine honour.
2 Jí ohun èlò orin àti haapu! Èmi ó jí ní kùtùkùtù,
Awake, O harp and lyre, I will awaken the dawn!
3 èmi ó yìn ọ́, Olúwa, nínú àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, èmi ó kọrin rẹ nínú àwọn ènìyàn.
I will thank thee among the peoples, O Yahweh, and will sing praise unto thee, among the tribes of men.
4 Nítorí tí o tóbi ní àánú rẹ ju àwọn ọ̀run lọ àti òdodo rẹ dé àwọsánmọ̀.
For, great, above the heavens, is thy lovingkindness, and, as far as the skies, thy faithfulness.
5 Gbé ara rẹ ga, Ọlọ́run, lórí àwọn ọ̀run, àti ògo rẹ lórí gbogbo ayé.
Be thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And, above all the earth, be thy glory.
6 Kí a sì lè gba àwọn olùfẹ́ rẹ là; fi ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ ṣe ìgbàlà, kí o sì dá mi lóhùn
To the end thy beloved ones may be delivered, Oh save thou with thy right hand and answer me!
7 Ọlọ́run ti sọ̀rọ̀ láti ibi mímọ́ rẹ̀ pé, “Èmi yóò yọ̀, èmi yóò pín Ṣekemu, èmi yóò sì wọn àfonífojì Sukkoti kúrò.
God, hath spoken in his holiness, I will exult! I will apportion Shechem! And, the Vale of Succoth, will I measure out;
8 Gileadi ni tèmi, Manase ni tèmi, Efraimu ni ìbòrí mi, Juda ni olófin mi,
Mine, is Gilead—mine, Manasseh, but, Ephraim, is the defence of my head, Judah, is my commander’s staff;
9 Moabu sì ni ìkòkò ìwẹsẹ̀ mi, lórí Edomu ni èmi ó bọ́ bàtà mi sí, lórí òkè Filistia ni èmi yóò hó ìhó ayọ̀.”
Moab, is my wash-bowl, Upon Edom, will I throw my shoe, Over Philistia, raise a shout of triumph.
10 Ta ni yóò mú mi wá sí ìlú olódi? Ta ni yóò sìn mí wá sí Edomu?
Who will conduct me to a fortified city? Who will lead me as far as Edom?
11 Ìwọ Ọlọ́run ha kọ́, ìwọ tí ó ti kọ̀ wá sílẹ̀. Ọlọ́run ìwọ kì yóò bá àwọn jagunjagun wa jáde mọ́.
Hast not thou, O God, rejected us? and wilt not go forth, O God, with our hosts.
12 Fún wa ní ìrànlọ́wọ́ nínú ìpọ́njú, nítorí ìrànlọ́wọ́ ènìyàn asán ni.
Grant us help out of distress, for, vain, is the deliverance of man:
13 Nípasẹ̀ Ọlọ́run ni àwa ó ṣe akin nítorí òun ó tẹ àwọn ọ̀tá wa mọ́lẹ̀.
In God, shall we do valiantly, He himself, therefore, shall tread down our adversaries.
