[A Song. A Psalm by David.] My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.

4 Nítorí tí o tóbi ní àánú rẹ ju àwọn ọ̀run lọ àti òdodo rẹ dé àwọsánmọ̀.
For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
5 Gbé ara rẹ ga, Ọlọ́run, lórí àwọn ọ̀run, àti ògo rẹ lórí gbogbo ayé.
Be exalted, God, above the heavens. Let your glory be over all the earth.

God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the Valley of Succoth.
8 Gileadi ni tèmi, Manase ni tèmi, Efraimu ni ìbòrí mi, Juda ni olófin mi,
Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my scepter.

Moab is my wash pot. I will toss my sandal on Edom. I will shout in triumph over Philistia."
10 Ta ni yóò mú mi wá sí ìlú olódi? Ta ni yóò sìn mí wá sí Edomu?
Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who has led me to Edom?
11 Ìwọ Ọlọ́run ha kọ́, ìwọ tí ó ti kọ̀ wá sílẹ̀. Ọlọ́run ìwọ kì yóò bá àwọn jagunjagun wa jáde mọ́.
Haven't you rejected us, God? You do not go forth, God, with our armies.
12 Fún wa ní ìrànlọ́wọ́ nínú ìpọ́njú, nítorí ìrànlọ́wọ́ ènìyàn asán ni.
Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.

Through God, we will do valiantly. For it is he who will trample down our enemies.
