< Psalms 105 >

1 Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Olúwa, ké pe orúkọ rẹ̀, jẹ́ kí a mọ ohun tí ó ṣe láàrín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè.
Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples.
2 Kọrin sí i, kọrin ìyìn sí i; sọ ti iṣẹ́ ìyanu rẹ̀ gbogbo.
Sing to him, sing zahmar ·musical praise· to him! Tell of all his marvelous works.
3 Ṣògo nínú orúkọ mímọ́ rẹ̀, jẹ́ kí ọkàn àwọn tí ń wá Olúwa kí ó yọ̀.
Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Adonai rejoice.
4 Wá Olúwa àti ipá rẹ̀; wa ojú rẹ̀ nígbà gbogbo.
Seek Adonai and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
5 Rántí àwọn ìyanu tí ó ti ṣe, ìyanu rẹ̀, àti ìdájọ́ tí ó sọ,
Remember his marvelous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
6 ẹ̀yin ìran Abrahamu ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀, ẹ̀yin ọmọkùnrin Jakọbu, àyànfẹ́ rẹ̀.
you offspring of Abraham [Father of a multitude], his servant, you children of Jacob [Supplanter], his chosen ones.
7 Òun ni Olúwa Ọlọ́run wa: ìdájọ́ rẹ̀ wà ní gbogbo ayé.
He is Adonai, our God. His judgments are in all the earth.
8 Ó rántí májẹ̀mú rẹ̀ láéláé, ọ̀rọ̀ tí ó pàṣẹ, fún ẹgbẹẹgbẹ̀rún ìran,
He has remembered his covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· forever, the word which he enjoined to a thousand generations,
9 májẹ̀mú tí ó dá pẹ̀lú Abrahamu, ìbúra tí ó ṣe pẹ̀lú fún Isaaki.
the covenant which he made with Abraham [Father of a multitude], his oath to Isaac [Laughter],
10 Ó ṣe ìdánilójú u rẹ̀ fún Jakọbu gẹ́gẹ́ bí àṣẹ, sí Israẹli, gẹ́gẹ́ bi májẹ̀mú ayérayé:
and confirmed the same to Jacob [Supplanter] for a statute; to Israel [God prevails] for an everlasting covenant,
11 “Fún ìwọ ni èmi ó fún ní ilẹ̀ Kenaani gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìpín tí ìwọ ó jogún.”
saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan [Humbled], the lot of your inheritance;”
12 Nígbà tí wọn kéré níye, wọ́n kéré jọjọ, àti àwọn àjèjì níbẹ̀
when they were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.
13 wọ́n rìn kiri láti orílẹ̀-èdè sí orílẹ̀-èdè, láti ìjọba kan sí èkejì.
They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
14 Kò gba ẹnikẹ́ni láààyè láti pọ́n wọn lójú; ó fi ọba bú nítorí tiwọn:
He allowed no one to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
15 “Má ṣe fọwọ́ kan ẹni àmì òróró mi; má sì ṣe wòlíì mi níbi.”
“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”
16 Ó pe ìyàn sórí ilẹ̀ náà ó sì pa gbogbo ìpèsè oúnjẹ wọn run;
He called for a famine on the land. He destroyed the food supplies.
17 Ó sì rán ọkùnrin kan síwájú wọn Josẹfu tí a tà gẹ́gẹ́ bí ẹrú.
He sent a man before them. Joseph [May he add] was sold for a slave.
18 Wọn fi ṣẹ́kẹ́ṣẹkẹ̀ bọ ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ a gbé ọrùn rẹ̀ sínú irin,
They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,
19 títí ọ̀rọ̀ tí ó sọtẹ́lẹ̀ fi ṣẹ títí ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa fi dá a láre.
until the time that his word happened, and Adonai’s word proved him true.
20 Ọba ránṣẹ́ lọ tú u sílẹ̀ àwọn aláṣẹ ènìyàn tú u sílẹ̀
The king sent and freed him; even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.
21 Ó fi jẹ olúwa lórí ilẹ̀ rẹ̀, aláṣẹ lórí ohun gbogbo tí ó ní,
He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions;
22 gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìfẹ́ rẹ̀, kí ó máa ṣe àkóso àwọn ọmọ-aládé kí ó sì kọ́ àwọn àgbàgbà rẹ̀ ní ọgbọ́n.
to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.
23 Israẹli wá sí Ejibiti; Jakọbu sì ṣe àtìpó ní ilé Hamu.
Israel [God prevails] also came into Egypt [Abode of slavery]. Jacob [Supplanter] lived in the land of Ham [Hot, Intensity, Passion].
24 Olúwa, sì mú àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀ bí sí i ó sì mú wọn lágbára jù àwọn ọ̀tá wọn lọ
He increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
25 Ó yí wọn lọ́kàn padà láti kórìíra àwọn ènìyàn láti ṣe àrékérekè sí àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.
26 Ó rán Mose ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀, àti Aaroni tí ó ti yàn.
He sent Moses [Drawn out], his servant, and Aaron [Light-bringer], whom he had chosen.
27 Wọ́n ń ṣe iṣẹ́ ìyanu láàrín wọn ó ṣe iṣẹ́ ìyanu ní Hamu.
They performed miracles among them, and wonders in the land of Ham [Hot, Intensity, Passion].
28 Ó rán òkùnkùn, o sì mú ilẹ̀ ṣú wọn kò sì sọ̀rọ̀-òdì sí ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ̀.
He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn’t rebel against his words.
29 Ó sọ omi wọn di ẹ̀jẹ̀, ó pa ẹja wọn.
He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
30 Ilẹ̀ mú ọ̀pọ̀lọ́ jáde wá, èyí tí ó lọ sí ìyẹ̀wù àwọn ọba wọn.
Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the rooms of their kings.
31 Ó sọ̀rọ̀, onírúurú eṣinṣin sì dìde, ó sì hu kantíkantí ní ilẹ̀ wọn
He spoke, and swarms of flies came, and lice in all their borders.
32 Ó sọ òjò di yìnyín, àti ọ̀wọ́-iná ní ilẹ̀ wọn;
He gave them hail for rain, with lightning in their land.
33 Ó lu àjàrà wọn àti igi ọ̀pọ̀tọ́ wọn ó sì dá igi orílẹ̀-èdè wọn.
He struck their vines and also their fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.
34 Ó sọ̀rọ̀, eṣú sì dé, àti kòkòrò ní àìníye,
He spoke, and the locusts came, and the grasshoppers, without number,
35 wọn sì jẹ gbogbo ewé ilẹ̀ wọn, wọ́n sì jẹ èso ilẹ̀ wọn run.
ate up every plant in their land; and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 Nígbà náà, ó kọlu gbogbo àwọn ilẹ̀ wọn, ààyò gbogbo ipá wọn.
He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.
37 Ó mú Israẹli jáde ti òun ti fàdákà àti wúrà, nínú ẹ̀yà rẹ̀ kò sí aláìlera kan.
He brought them out with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person among his tribes.
38 Inú Ejibiti dùn nígbà tí wọn ń lọ, nítorí ẹ̀rù àwọn Israẹli ń bá wọ́n.
Egypt [Abode of slavery] was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen on them.
39 Ó ta àwọsánmọ̀ fún ìbòrí, àti iná láti fún wọn ní ìmọ́lẹ̀ lálẹ́.
He spread a cloud for a covering, fire to give light in the night.
40 Wọn béèrè, ó sì mú ẹyẹ àparò wá, ó sì fi oúnjẹ ọ̀run tẹ́ wọn lọ́rùn.
They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of the sky.
41 Ó sì la àpáta, ó sì mú omi jáde; gẹ́gẹ́ bí odò tí ń sàn níbi gbígbẹ.
He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. They ran as a river in the dry places.
42 Nítorí ó rántí ìlérí mímọ́ rẹ̀ àti Abrahamu ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀.
For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham [Father of a multitude], his servant.
43 Ó sì fi ayọ̀ mú àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ jáde pẹ̀lú ayọ̀ ní ó yan àyànfẹ́ rẹ̀
He brought his people out with joy, his chosen with singing.
44 Ó fún wọn ní ilẹ̀ ìní náà, wọ́n sì jogún iṣẹ́ àwọn ènìyàn náà,
He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labor of the peoples in possession,
45 kí wọn kí ó lè máa pa àṣẹ rẹ̀ mọ́ kí wọn kí ó lè kíyèsi òfin rẹ̀. Ẹ fi ìyìn fún Olúwa.
that they might keep his statutes, and observe his torot ·teachings·. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
