< Psalms 105 >

1 Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Olúwa, ké pe orúkọ rẹ̀, jẹ́ kí a mọ ohun tí ó ṣe láàrín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè.
O give thanks unto the Lord; call on his name: make known among the people his deeds.
2 Kọrin sí i, kọrin ìyìn sí i; sọ ti iṣẹ́ ìyanu rẹ̀ gbogbo.
Sing unto, him, sing praises unto him: speak of all his wonderful works.
3 Ṣògo nínú orúkọ mímọ́ rẹ̀, jẹ́ kí ọkàn àwọn tí ń wá Olúwa kí ó yọ̀.
Glorify yourselves in his holy name: let the heart of those rejoice that seek the Lord.
4 Wá Olúwa àti ipá rẹ̀; wa ojú rẹ̀ nígbà gbogbo.
Inquire after the Lord and his strength: seek his presence evermore.
5 Rántí àwọn ìyanu tí ó ti ṣe, ìyanu rẹ̀, àti ìdájọ́ tí ó sọ,
Remember his wonderful works which he hath done; his tokens, and the decrees of his mouth;
6 ẹ̀yin ìran Abrahamu ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀, ẹ̀yin ọmọkùnrin Jakọbu, àyànfẹ́ rẹ̀.
O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob, his elect.
7 Òun ni Olúwa Ọlọ́run wa: ìdájọ́ rẹ̀ wà ní gbogbo ayé.
He is the Lord our God: over all the earth are his decrees.
8 Ó rántí májẹ̀mú rẹ̀ láéláé, ọ̀rọ̀ tí ó pàṣẹ, fún ẹgbẹẹgbẹ̀rún ìran,
He remembereth his covenant for ever, the word which he hath commanded, to the thousandth generation.
9 májẹ̀mú tí ó dá pẹ̀lú Abrahamu, ìbúra tí ó ṣe pẹ̀lú fún Isaaki.
Which he covenanted with Abraham; and his oath unto Isaac;
10 Ó ṣe ìdánilójú u rẹ̀ fún Jakọbu gẹ́gẹ́ bí àṣẹ, sí Israẹli, gẹ́gẹ́ bi májẹ̀mú ayérayé:
And which he established unto Jacob as a statute, unto Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 “Fún ìwọ ni èmi ó fún ní ilẹ̀ Kenaani gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìpín tí ìwọ ó jogún.”
Saying, “Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, as the portion of your inheritance.”
12 Nígbà tí wọn kéré níye, wọ́n kéré jọjọ, àti àwọn àjèjì níbẹ̀
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it;
13 wọ́n rìn kiri láti orílẹ̀-èdè sí orílẹ̀-èdè, láti ìjọba kan sí èkejì.
And when they wandered from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people:
14 Kò gba ẹnikẹ́ni láààyè láti pọ́n wọn lójú; ó fi ọba bú nítorí tiwọn:
He suffered no man to oppress them; yea, he reproved kings for their sake;
15 “Má ṣe fọwọ́ kan ẹni àmì òróró mi; má sì ṣe wòlíì mi níbi.”
[Saying, ] “Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm,”—
16 Ó pe ìyàn sórí ilẹ̀ náà ó sì pa gbogbo ìpèsè oúnjẹ wọn run;
And he called for a famine over the land; every staff of bread he broke.
17 Ó sì rán ọkùnrin kan síwájú wọn Josẹfu tí a tà gẹ́gẹ́ bí ẹrú.
He sent a man before them; for a servant was Joseph sold;
18 Wọn fi ṣẹ́kẹ́ṣẹkẹ̀ bọ ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ a gbé ọrùn rẹ̀ sínú irin,
They forced into fetters his feet; in iron was his body put:
19 títí ọ̀rọ̀ tí ó sọtẹ́lẹ̀ fi ṣẹ títí ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa fi dá a láre.
Until the time that his word came to pass, [when] the saying of the Lord had purified him.
20 Ọba ránṣẹ́ lọ tú u sílẹ̀ àwọn aláṣẹ ènìyàn tú u sílẹ̀
The king sent and unfettered him; the ruler of people, and let him go free.
21 Ó fi jẹ olúwa lórí ilẹ̀ rẹ̀, aláṣẹ lórí ohun gbogbo tí ó ní,
He appointed him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possession:
22 gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìfẹ́ rẹ̀, kí ó máa ṣe àkóso àwọn ọmọ-aládé kí ó sì kọ́ àwọn àgbàgbà rẹ̀ ní ọgbọ́n.
That he might bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his ancients wisdom.
23 Israẹli wá sí Ejibiti; Jakọbu sì ṣe àtìpó ní ilé Hamu.
Then came Israel into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 Olúwa, sì mú àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀ bí sí i ó sì mú wọn lágbára jù àwọn ọ̀tá wọn lọ
And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
25 Ó yí wọn lọ́kàn padà láti kórìíra àwọn ènìyàn láti ṣe àrékérekè sí àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilely with his servants.
26 Ó rán Mose ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀, àti Aaroni tí ó ti yàn.
He sent Moses his servant, Aaron also whom he had made choice of.
27 Wọ́n ń ṣe iṣẹ́ ìyanu láàrín wọn ó ṣe iṣẹ́ ìyanu ní Hamu.
They displayed among them his effective signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 Ó rán òkùnkùn, o sì mú ilẹ̀ ṣú wọn kò sì sọ̀rọ̀-òdì sí ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ̀.
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 Ó sọ omi wọn di ẹ̀jẹ̀, ó pa ẹja wọn.
He changed their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 Ilẹ̀ mú ọ̀pọ̀lọ́ jáde wá, èyí tí ó lọ sí ìyẹ̀wù àwọn ọba wọn.
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the very chambers of their kings.
31 Ó sọ̀rọ̀, onírúurú eṣinṣin sì dìde, ó sì hu kantíkantí ní ilẹ̀ wọn
He spoke, and there came various wild beasts, lice also within all their boundary.
32 Ó sọ òjò di yìnyín, àti ọ̀wọ́-iná ní ilẹ̀ wọn;
He gave them as their rain hail, and flames of fire in their land.
33 Ó lu àjàrà wọn àti igi ọ̀pọ̀tọ́ wọn ó sì dá igi orílẹ̀-èdè wọn.
And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees within their boundary.
34 Ó sọ̀rọ̀, eṣú sì dé, àti kòkòrò ní àìníye,
He spoke, and the locusts came, and crickets, and that without number;
35 wọn sì jẹ gbogbo ewé ilẹ̀ wọn, wọ́n sì jẹ èso ilẹ̀ wọn run.
And they ate up all the herbs in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 Nígbà náà, ó kọlu gbogbo àwọn ilẹ̀ wọn, ààyò gbogbo ipá wọn.
And he smote all the first-born in their land, the first of all their strength.
37 Ó mú Israẹli jáde ti òun ti fàdákà àti wúrà, nínú ẹ̀yà rẹ̀ kò sí aláìlera kan.
And he brought them forth with silver and gold: and there was not one that stumbled among his tribes.
38 Inú Ejibiti dùn nígbà tí wọn ń lọ, nítorí ẹ̀rù àwọn Israẹli ń bá wọ́n.
Egypt rejoiced when they departed; for the dread of them was fallen upon them.
39 Ó ta àwọsánmọ̀ fún ìbòrí, àti iná láti fún wọn ní ìmọ́lẹ̀ lálẹ́.
He spread out a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
40 Wọn béèrè, ó sì mú ẹyẹ àparò wá, ó sì fi oúnjẹ ọ̀run tẹ́ wọn lọ́rùn.
The people asked, and he brought quails, and with heavenly bread he satisfied them.
41 Ó sì la àpáta, ó sì mú omi jáde; gẹ́gẹ́ bí odò tí ń sàn níbi gbígbẹ.
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out: they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 Nítorí ó rántí ìlérí mímọ́ rẹ̀ àti Abrahamu ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀.
For he remembered his holy word given to Abraham his servant.
43 Ó sì fi ayọ̀ mú àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ jáde pẹ̀lú ayọ̀ ní ó yan àyànfẹ́ rẹ̀
And he brought forth his people with gladness, with joyful song his elect.
44 Ó fún wọn ní ilẹ̀ ìní náà, wọ́n sì jogún iṣẹ́ àwọn ènìyàn náà,
And he gave them the lands of nations; and the labor of people they obtained as an inheritance:
45 kí wọn kí ó lè máa pa àṣẹ rẹ̀ mọ́ kí wọn kí ó lè kíyèsi òfin rẹ̀. Ẹ fi ìyìn fún Olúwa.
So that they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Hallelujah.
