< Psalms 104 >

1 Yin Olúwa, ìwọ ọkàn mi. Olúwa Ọlọ́run mi, ìwọ tóbi jọjọ; ọlá àti ọláńlá ni ìwọ wọ̀ ní aṣọ.
Bless, O my soul, Yahweh, —Yahweh, my God, thou art exceedingly great, With honour and majesty, hast thou clothed thyself,
2 Ìwọ fi ìmọ́lẹ̀ bo ara rẹ gẹ́gẹ́ bí aṣọ; ó tẹ ọ̀run bí títẹ́ ẹní,
Putting on light, as a robe, Stretching out the heavens, as a curtain;
3 ìwọ tí ó fi omi ṣe ìtì igi àjà ìyẹ̀wù rẹ. Ìwọ tí o ṣe àwọsánmọ̀ ní kẹ̀kẹ́ ogun rẹ ìwọ tí ó ń rìn lórí apá ìyẹ́ afẹ́fẹ́.
Building, in the waters, his upper chambers, —Who maketh clouds his chariot, Who passeth along on the wings of the wind;
4 Ó fi ẹ̀fúùfù ṣe àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ, ọ̀wọ́-iná ni àwọn olùránṣẹ́ rẹ.
Making His messengers, winds, His attendants, a flaming fire;
5 O fi ayé gúnlẹ̀ lórí àwọn ìpìlẹ̀; tí a kò le è mì láéláé.
He hath fixed the earth on its foundations, It is not to be shaken, to times age-abiding and beyond.
6 Ìwọ fi ibú omi bò ó mọ́lẹ̀ bí aṣọ; àwọn omi sì dúró lórí àwọn òkè ńlá.
With the resounding deep—as a garment, hast thou covered it, Above the mountains, stand the waters;
7 Ṣùgbọ́n nípa ìbáwí rẹ ni àwọn omi lọ, nípa ohùn àrá rẹ ni wọ́n sálọ.
At thy rebuke, they flee, At the voice of thy thunder, they hurry away;
8 wọ́n sàn kọjá lórí àwọn òkè, wọ́n sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ sí àwọn pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀, sí ibi tí ìwọ ti yàn fún wọn.
Mountains rise, Valleys sink, Unto the place which thou hast fixed for them;
9 Ìwọ gbé òpin tí wọn kò lè kọjá rẹ̀ kálẹ̀; láéláé ni wọ́n kò ní lè bo ayé mọ́lẹ̀ lẹ́ẹ̀kan sí i.
Bounds, hast thou set, which they are not to pass over, They are not to return to cover the earth.
10 Ìwọ mú kí ìsun da omi sí àwọn àfonífojì; tí ó ń sàn láàrín àwọn òkè.
Who hast sent forth springs, through the torrent-beds, Between the mountains, they flow along;
11 Wọ́n fún gbogbo àwọn ẹranko igbó ní omi àwọn kẹ́tẹ́kẹ́tẹ́ ń pa òǹgbẹ wọn.
They give drink, to every wild beast of the field, The wild asses do break their thirst.
12 Àwọn ẹyẹ ojú òfúrufú tẹ́ ìtẹ́ wọn lẹ́gbẹ̀ẹ́ omi wọ́n ń kọrin láàrín àwọn ẹ̀ka.
Over them, the bird of the heavens settleth down, From amidst the foliage, they utter a voice.
13 Ó bu omi rin àwọn òkè láti ìyẹ̀wù rẹ̀ wá; a tẹ́ ayé lọ́rùn nípa èso iṣẹ́ ọwọ́ rẹ.
Who watereth the mountains out of his upper chambers, Out of the fruit of thy works, thou satisfiest the earth.
14 Ó mú kí koríko hù jáde fún àwọn ẹranko láti jẹ àti àwọn ewébẹ̀ fún ènìyàn láti lò, kí ó lè mú oúnjẹ jáde láti ilẹ̀ wá.
Who causeth the grass to shoot forth for the cattle, And the herb, for the service of man, That he may bring forth food out of the earth;
15 Ọtí wáìnì tí ó ń mú ọkàn ènìyàn yọ̀, òróró láti mú ojú rẹ̀ tan, àti àkàrà láti ra ọkàn rẹ̀ padà.
And, wine, may rejoice the heart of man, Making radiant his well-nourished face, —And, food, may, the heart of man, sustain.
16 Àwọn igi Olúwa ni a bu omi rin dáradára, kedari ti Lebanoni tí ó gbìn.
Satisfied are, The trees of Yahweh, The cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
17 Níbẹ̀ ní àwọn ẹyẹ ṣe ìtẹ́ wọn bí ó ṣe tí àkọ̀ ni, orí igi gíga ni ilé rẹ̀.
Where the birds build their nests, The stork, in the fir-trees, hath her house;
18 Àwọn òkè gíga ni ààbò fún àwọn ewúrẹ́ igbó; àti àwọn àlàpà jẹ́ ààbò fún àwọn ehoro.
The high mountains, are for the chamois, The crags, are a refuge for the conies.
19 Òṣùpá jẹ́ àmì fún àkókò oòrùn sì mọ ìgbà tí yóò wọ̀.
He hath made the moon for seasons, And, the sun, knoweth his place for entering in.
20 Ìwọ mú òkùnkùn wá, ó sì di òru, nínú èyí tí gbogbo ẹranko igbó ń rìn kiri.
Thou causest darkness, and it becometh night, Therein, creepeth forth, Every wild beast of the forest;
21 Kìnnìún ń bú ramúramù fún ohun ọdẹ wọn wọ́n sì ń wá oúnjẹ wọn láti ọ̀dọ̀ Ọlọ́run.
The young lions, roaring for prey, And seeking, from GOD, their food.
22 Oòrùn ràn, wọ́n sì kó ara wọn jọ, wọn padà lọ dùbúlẹ̀ sí ihò wọn.
The sun ariseth, they withdraw themselves, And, in their lairs, lay them down.
23 Ọkùnrin jáde lọ sí iṣẹ́ wọn, àti sí làálàá rẹ̀ títí di àṣálẹ́.
Man goeth forth to his work, And to his labour, until evening.
24 Iṣẹ́ rẹ ti pọ̀ tó, Olúwa! Nínú ọgbọ́n ni ìwọ ṣe gbogbo wọn: ayé kún fún àwọn ìṣẹ̀dá á rẹ.
How thy works abound, O Yahweh! All of them—in wisdom, hast thou made, The earth is full of thy possession: —
25 Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Òkun yìí tí ó tóbi, tí ó sì ni ìbú, tí ó kún fún àwọn ẹ̀dá alààyè ní ìsàlẹ̀ láìníye ohun alààyè tí tóbi àti kékeré.
This sea here, is great and broad on both hands, —Wherein are creeping things, even without number, Living things, small with great;
26 Níbẹ̀ ni ọkọ̀ ń lọ síwá sẹ́yìn, àti Lefitani, tí ìwọ dá láti ṣe àríyá nínú rẹ̀.
There, ships, sail along, This sea-monster, thou hast formed to sport therein;
27 Àwọn wọ̀nyí ń wò ọ́ láti fún wọn ní oúnjẹ wọn lákòókò rẹ̀.
All of them, for thee, do wait, That thou mayest give them their food in its season;
28 Nígbà tí ìwọ bá fi fún wọn, wọn yóò kó jọ; nígbà tí ìwọ bá la ọwọ́ rẹ̀, a tẹ́ wọn lọ́rùn pẹ̀lú ohun rere.
Thou givest unto them, they gather, Thou openest thy hand, they are satisfied with good.
29 Nígbà tí ìwọ bá pa ojú rẹ mọ́ ara kò rọ̀ wọ́n nígbà tí ìwọ bá mú ẹ̀mí wọn lọ, wọn ó kú, wọn ó sì padà sí erùpẹ̀.
Thou hidest thy face, they are dismayed, Thou withdrawest their spirit, They cease to breathe, And, unto their own dust, do they return:
30 Nígbà tí ìwọ rán ẹ̀mí rẹ, ni a dá wọn, ìwọ sì tún ojú ayé ṣe.
Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created, And thou renewest the face of the ground.
31 Jẹ́ kí ògo Olúwa wà pẹ́ títí láé; kí inú Olúwa kí ó dùn ní ti iṣẹ́ rẹ̀,
Be thy glory, O Yahweh, to times age-abiding, Let Yahweh rejoice in his own works:
32 ẹni tí ó wo ayé, tí ó sì wárìrì, ẹni tí ó fọwọ́ tọ́ àwọn òkè, tí wọ́n yọ èéfín.
Who looketh at the earth, and it trembleth, He toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.
33 Ní gbogbo ayé mi ní n ó kọrin sí Olúwa: èmi ó kọrin ìyìn sí Olúwa níwọ̀n ìgbà tí mo wà láààyè.
I will sing to Yahweh, as long as I live! Yea I will touch the strings to my God, while I continue;
34 Jẹ́ kí ẹ̀kọ́ mi kí ó tẹ́ ọ lọ́rùn bí mo ti ń yọ̀ nínú Olúwa.
Pleasing unto him, be my (meditation) I, will rejoice in Yahweh.
35 Ṣùgbọ́n kí ẹlẹ́ṣẹ̀ kúrò láyé kí ènìyàn búburú má sì sí mọ́. Yin Olúwa, ìwọ ọkàn mi. Yin Olúwa.
Sinners shall be consumed out of the earth And, the lawless, no more, shall exist, —Bless, O my soul, Yahweh, Praise ye Yah!
