< Philippians 4 >
1 Nítorí náà ẹ̀yin ará mi olùfẹ́, ti mo sì ń ṣàfẹ́rí gidigidi, ayọ̀ àti adé mi, ẹ dúró ṣinṣin bẹ́ẹ̀ nínú Olúwa, ẹ̀yin olùfẹ́ mi.
So stand firm in the Lord, my dear friends who mean so much to me, who make me so happy! To me you are my crowning achievement! I truly love you and long to see you!
2 Èmi ń bẹ̀ Euodia, mo sì ń bẹ Sintike, kí wọn ní inú kan náà nínú Olúwa.
Euodia and Syntyche—I urge you to resolve your differences with each other and agree in the Lord.
3 Mo sì bẹ̀ yin pẹ̀lú bí alájọru àjàgà mi tòótọ́, ran àwọn obìnrin wọ̀nyí lọ́wọ́, nítorí wọn bá mi ṣiṣẹ́ pọ̀ ní ìfẹ̀gbẹ́-kẹ̀gbẹ́ nínú ìyìnrere, àti Klementi pẹ̀lú, àti àwọn olùbáṣiṣẹ́ mi yòókù pẹ̀lú, orúkọ àwọn tí ń bẹ nínú ìwé ìyè.
In fact, my faithful fellow-worker, let me ask you to help these women, for they worked together with me to spread the good news—as well as Clement and my other co-workers, whose names are recorded in the book of life.
4 Ẹ máa yọ̀ nínú Olúwa nígbà gbogbo: mo sì tún wí pé. Ẹ máa yọ̀.
Always be happy in the Lord—I repeat, Be happy!
5 Ẹ jẹ́ ki ìpamọ́ra yín di mímọ́ fún gbogbo ènìyàn, Olúwa ń bẹ nítòsí.
Everyone should know about your kindness. The Lord will soon be here.
6 Ẹ má ṣe ṣe àníyàn ohunkóhun; ṣùgbọ́n nínú ohun gbogbo, nípa àdúrà àti ẹ̀bẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ìdúpẹ́, ẹ máa fi ìbéèrè yín hàn fún Ọlọ́run.
Don't worry about anything, but take everything to God in prayer, explaining your requests to him and thanking him for all he does.
7 Àti àlàáfíà Ọlọ́run, tí ó ju ìmòye gbogbo lọ, yóò pa ọkàn àti èrò yín mọ nínú Kristi Jesu.
Then the peace that comes from God, which is better than we can ever imagine, will protect your thoughts and attitudes in Christ Jesus.
8 Ní àkótán, ará, ohunkóhun tí í ṣe òtítọ́, ohunkóhun tí í ṣe ọ̀wọ̀, ohunkóhun tí í ṣe títọ́ ohunkóhun tí í ṣe mímọ́, ohunkóhun tí í ṣe fífẹ́, ohunkóhun tí ó ni ìròyìn rere, bí ìwà títọ́ kan bá wà, bí ìyìn kan bá sì wà, ẹ máa gba nǹkan wọ̀nyí rò.
Lastly, whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, beautiful, commendable, whatever is truly good and deserves to be praised, think about these kinds of things.
9 Àwọn nǹkan tí ẹ̀yin ti kọ́, tí ẹ̀yin sì ti gbà, tí ẹ̀yin sì ti gbọ́, tí ẹ̀yin sì ti rí lọ́wọ́ mi, ẹ máa ṣe wọ́n: Ọlọ́run àlàáfíà yóò sì wà pẹ̀lú yín.
Put into practice what you learned and received from me, what you saw me doing and heard me say. Then the God of peace will be with you.
10 Èmi yọ̀ gidigidi nínú Olúwa pé, nísinsin yìí, ẹ̀yin tún ti sọjí nínú àníyàn ọkàn yín sí mi, nítòótọ́ ọkàn yín ń fàmọ́ mi ṣùgbọ́n ẹ kò ní àǹfààní tó.
I'm so happy in the Lord that you've at last thought about me again—realizing that you were concerned about me before but you couldn't do anything about it.
11 Kì í ṣe pé èmi ń sọ nítorí àìní: nítorí pé ni ipòkípò tí mo bá wà, mo tí kọ́ láti ní ìtẹ́lọ́rùn nínú rẹ̀.
I'm not talking about my own needs, because I've already learned to be satisfied in whatever situation I find myself.
12 Mo mọ̀ ohun tí o jẹ láti wa nínú àìní, mo sì mọ ohun tí ó jẹ láti ni lọ́pọ̀lọ́pọ̀. Nínú ohunkóhun àti nínú ohun gbogbo mo ti kọ́ àṣírí láti máa jẹ́ àjẹyó tàbí láti wà ni àìjẹun, láti máa ni ànító àti láti ṣe aláìní.
I'm used to having nothing, and I've experienced having plenty too. In every possible situation I've learned the secret of dealing with having plenty and going hungry, of being rich and of living in poverty:
13 Èmi le ṣe ohun gbogbo nínú Kristi ẹni ti ń fi agbára fún mi.
I can do anything through him who makes me strong!
14 Ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin ṣeun gidigidi ní ti pé ẹ̀yin ṣe alábápín nínú ìpọ́njú mi.
Even so it was good of you to share with me during my troubles.
15 Ẹ̀yin pàápàá sì mọ̀ pẹ̀lú, ẹ̀yin ará Filipi, pé ni ìbẹ̀rẹ̀ ìyìnrere, nígbà tí mo kúrò ni Makedonia, kò sí ìjọ kan ti ó bá mi ń ṣe alábápín ní ti gbígbà àti fífún ni, bí kò ṣe ẹ̀yin nìkan ṣoṣo.
You Philippians remember that right at the beginning of sharing the good news, when I left Macedonia, that yours was the only church that helped me financially.
16 Nítorí ní Tẹsalonika ẹ̀yin fi nǹkan ránṣẹ́, lẹ́ẹ̀kan fún àìní mi.
Even when I was in Thessalonica you helped me out not once but twice.
17 Kì í ṣe nítorí ti èmi ń fẹ́ ẹ̀bùn náà, ṣùgbọ́n èmi ń fẹ́ èso ti yóò máa di púpọ̀ nítorí yín.
Not that I'm looking for a donation—I'm looking for your “account” to increase in “profit.”
18 Ṣùgbọ́n mo ní ohun gbogbo, mo sì ti di púpọ̀, mo sì tún ni lọ́pọ̀lọ́pọ̀ nígbà ti mo tí gba nǹkan wọ̀nyí lọ́wọ́ Epafiroditu tí a ti rán wá láti lọ́dọ̀ yín, ọrẹ olóòórùn dídùn, ẹbọ ìtẹ́wọ́gbà, tì í ṣe inú dídùn gidigidi sí Ọlọ́run.
For I have everything, more than I need! I'm thankful to receive from Epaphroditus the things you sent. They're like a sweet-smelling sacrifice that pleases God and that he approves of.
19 Ṣùgbọ́n Ọlọ́run mi yóò pèsè ní kíkún fún gbogbo àìní yín, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ̀ nínú ògo nínú Kristi Jesu.
My God will fill you with everything you need in accordance with his glorious wealth in Christ Jesus!
20 Ṣùgbọ́n ògo ni fún Ọlọ́run àti Baba wa láé àti láéláé. Àmín. (aiōn )
Glory be to God the Father, forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
21 Ẹ kí olúkúlùkù ènìyàn mímọ́ nínú Kristi Jesu. Àwọn ará tí ó wà pẹ̀lú mi kí yín.
Greet every fellow-believer in Christ Jesus. The Christian brothers and sisters with me send their greetings.
22 Gbogbo àwọn ènìyàn mímọ́ kí yín, pàápàá àwọn tí ń ṣe ti agbo ilé Kesari.
All the believers send you greetings, especially those from Caesar's palace.
23 Oore-ọ̀fẹ́ Jesu Kristi Olúwa wa, kí ó wà pẹ̀lú ẹ̀mí yín. Àmín.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
