Aionian Verses
Gbogbo àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀ lọ́kùnrin, lóbìnrin wá láti tù ú nínú, ṣùgbọ́n kò gbà. Ó wí pé, “Rárá, nínú ọ̀fọ̀ yìí ni èmi yóò lọ sí isà òkú lọ́dọ̀ ọmọ mi.” Baba Josẹfu sì sọkún fún un. (Sheol h7585)
And they arose all sons his and all daughters his to comfort him and he refused to be comforted and he said that I will go down to son my mourning Sheol towards and he wept for him father his. (Sheol h7585)
Ṣùgbọ́n Jakọbu wí pé, “Ọmọ mi kì yóò bá a yín lọ, ẹ̀gbọ́n rẹ̀ ti kú, òun nìkan sì ni ó kù nínú àwọn ọmọ ìyá rẹ̀. Bí ohunkóhun bá ṣẹlẹ̀ sí i, ìbànújẹ́ ni yóò sì pa mi kú ni ọjọ́ ogbó mi yìí.” (Sheol h7585)
And he said not he will go down son my with you for brother his he has died and he to only him [is] remaining and it will happen to him harm on the journey which you will go on it and you will cause to go down gray hair my in sorrow Sheol towards. (Sheol h7585)
Tí ẹ bá tún mú èyí lọ, kúrò lọ́dọ̀ mi, tí ohunkóhun bá ṣe é, ìbànújẹ́ ni ẹ ó fi mú ewú orí mi lọ sí ipò òkú.’ (Sheol h7585)
And you will take also this [one] from with presence my and it will happen to him harm and you will cause to go down gray hair my in calamity Sheol towards. (Sheol h7585)
Tí ó bá ri pé ọmọkùnrin náà kò wá pẹ̀lú wa, yóò kùú. Àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ yóò wá mú baba wa tòun ti ewú orí lọ sí ipò òkú ní ìbànújẹ́. (Sheol h7585)
And it will be when sees he that there not [is] the young man and he will die and they will bring down servants your [the] gray hair of servant your father our in sorrow Sheol towards. (Sheol h7585)
Ṣùgbọ́n bí Olúwa bá ṣe ohun tuntun, tí ilẹ̀ sì la ẹnu, tó gbé wọn mì, àwọn pẹ̀lú gbogbo ohun tí wọ́n ní, tí wọ́n sì wọ inú ibojì wọn lọ láààyè, nígbà náà ni ẹ̀yin ó mọ̀ pé àwọn ènìyàn yìí ti kẹ́gàn Olúwa.” (Sheol h7585)
And if a creation he will create Yahweh and it will open the ground mouth its and it will swallow them and all that [belongs] to them and they will go down alive Sheol towards and you will know that they have spurned the men these Yahweh. (Sheol h7585)
Gbogbo wọn sì sọ̀kalẹ̀ sínú ibojì wọn láààyè pẹ̀lú ohun gbogbo tí wọ́n ní, ilẹ̀ sì padé mọ́ wọn, wọ́n sì ṣègbé kúrò láàrín ìjọ ènìyàn. (Sheol h7585)
And they went down they and all that [belonged] to them alive Sheol towards and it covered over them the earth and they perished from among the assembly. (Sheol h7585)
Nítorí pé iná kan ràn nínú ìbínú mi, yóò sì jó dé ipò ikú ní ìsàlẹ̀. Yóò sì run ayé àti ìkórè e rẹ̀ yóò sì tiná bọ ìpìlẹ̀ àwọn òkè ńlá. (Sheol h7585)
For a fire it has been kindled by anger my and it has burned to Sheol lowest and it has consumed [the] earth and produce its and it has set ablaze [the] foundations of [the] mountains. (Sheol h7585)
“Olúwa pa ó sì sọ di ààyè; ó mú sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ sí isà òkú, ó sì gbé dìde. (Sheol h7585)
Yahweh [is] killing and [is] restoring to life [he is] bringing down Sheol and he has brought up. (Sheol h7585)
Ọ̀já isà òkú yí mi káàkiri; ìkẹ́kùn ikú dojúkọ mí. (Sheol h7585)
[the] cords of Sheol they surrounded me they confronted me [the] snares of death. (Sheol h7585)
Ṣe sí í gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọgbọ́n rẹ̀, ṣùgbọ́n má ṣe jẹ́ kí ewú orí rẹ̀ sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ sí isà òkú ní àlàáfíà. (Sheol h7585)
And you will act according to wisdom your and not you must bring down grey hair his in peace Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
Ṣùgbọ́n nísinsin yìí, má ṣe kíyèsi í gẹ́gẹ́ bí aláìlẹ́ṣẹ̀, ọkùnrin ọlọ́gbọ́n ni ìwọ ṣe; ìwọ yóò mọ ohun tí ìwọ yóò ṣe sí i. Mú ewú orí rẹ̀ sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ sínú isà òkú pẹ̀lú ẹ̀jẹ̀.” (Sheol h7585)
And therefore may not you leave unpunished him for [are] a man wise you and you will know [that] which you will do to him and you will bring down grey hair his in blood Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
Bí ìkùùkuu tí i túká, tí í sì fò lọ, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ẹni tí ń lọ sí ipò òkú tí kì yóò padà wa mọ́. (Sheol h7585)
It vanishes a cloud and it has gone thus [one who] has gone down Sheol not he will come up. (Sheol h7585)
Ó ga ju àwọn ọ̀run lọ; kí ni ìwọ le è ṣe? Ó jìn ju jíjìn isà òkú lọ; kí ni ìwọ le mọ̀? (Sheol h7585)
[the] heights of [the] heavens What? will you do deep more than Sheol what? will you know. (Sheol h7585)
“Háà! ìwọ ìbá fi mí pamọ́ ní ipò òkú, kí ìwọ kí ó fi mí pamọ́ ní ìkọ̀kọ̀, títí ìbínú rẹ yóò fi rékọjá, ìwọ ìbá lànà ìgbà kan sílẹ̀ fún mi, kí ó si rántí mi! (Sheol h7585)
Who? will he give - in Sheol you will hide me you will conceal me until turns back anger your you will set for me a limit and you will remember me. (Sheol h7585)
Bí mo tilẹ̀ ní ìrètí, ipò òku ní ilé mi; mo ti tẹ́ ibùsùn mi sínú òkùnkùn. (Sheol h7585)
If I will hope for Sheol home my in the darkness I have spread out beds my. (Sheol h7585)

[the] poles of Sheol will they go down? or? together to [the] dust will we descend. (Sheol h7585)

Drought also heat they snatch away [the] waters of snow Sheol [those who] they have sinned. (Sheol h7585)
Ìhòhò ni ipò òkú níwájú Ọlọ́run, ibi ìparun kò sí ní ibojì. (Sheol h7585)
[is] naked Sheol before him and not a covering [belongs] to Abaddon. (Sheol h7585)

For there not in death [is] remembrance of you in Sheol who? will he give thanks to you. (Sheol h7585)
Àwọn ènìyàn búburú ni a ó dà sí isà òkú, àti gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè tí ó gbàgbé Ọlọ́run. (Sheol h7585)
They will return wicked [people] to Sheol all [the] nations forgetful of God. (Sheol h7585)

For - not you will abandon life my to Sheol not you will permit faithful [one] your to see [the] pit. (Sheol h7585)
Okùn isà òkú yí mi ká, ìkẹ́kùn ikú dojúkọ mí. (Sheol h7585)
[the] cords of Sheol they surrounded me they confronted me [the] snares of death. (Sheol h7585)
Olúwa, ìwọ ti yọ ọkàn mi jáde kúrò nínú isà òkú, mú mi padà bọ̀ sípò alààyè kí èmi má ba à lọ sínú ihò. (Sheol h7585)
O Yahweh you brought up from Sheol life my you preserved alive me (from going down my *Q(K)*) [the] pit. (Sheol h7585)
Má ṣe jẹ́ kí ojú ki ó tì mí, Olúwa; nítorí pé mo ké pè ọ́; jẹ́ kí ojú kí ó ti ènìyàn búburú; jẹ́ kí wọ́n lọ pẹ̀lú ìdààmú sí isà òkú. (Sheol h7585)
O Yahweh may not I be ashamed for I have called out to you may they be ashamed wicked [people] may they be silent to Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
Gẹ́gẹ́ bí àgùntàn ni a tẹ́ wọn sínú isà òkú ikú yóò jẹun lórí wọn; ẹni tí ó dúró ṣinṣin ni yóò, jẹ ọba lórí wọn ní òwúrọ̀. Ẹwà wọn yóò díbàjẹ́, isà òkú ni ibùgbé ẹwà wọn. (Sheol h7585)
Like sheep - for Sheol they have been appointed death it will shepherd them and they ruled over them upright [people] - to the morning (and form their *Q(K)*) [is] for [the] consuming of Sheol from lofty abode of him. (Sheol h7585)

Surely God he will redeem life my from [the] hand of Sheol for he will take me (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
Kí ikú kí ó dé bá wọn, kí wọn ó lọ láààyè sí isà òkú, jẹ́ kí wọn ó sọ̀kalẹ̀ sí ibojì pẹ̀lú ìpayà, nítorí tí ìwà búburú ń bẹ ní ibùjókòó wọn, àti nínú wọn. (Sheol h7585)
(May it deceive death - *Q(K)*) on them may they go down Sheol alive for evil deeds [are] in sojourning-place their in inner being their. (Sheol h7585)
Nítorí títóbi ni ìfẹ́ rẹ si mi; ìwọ ti gbà mí kúrò nínú ọ̀gbun isà òkú. (Sheol h7585)
For covenant loyalty your [is] great towards me and you have delivered life my from Sheol lowest. (Sheol h7585)
Nítorí ọkàn mi kún fún ìpọ́njú ọkàn mi sì súnmọ́ isà òkú. (Sheol h7585)
For it is surfeited with troubles being my and life my to Sheol they have reached. (Sheol h7585)
Ta ni yóò wà láààyè tí kò ní rí ikú rẹ̀? Ta ló lè sá kúrò nínú agbára isà òkú? (Sheol h7585)
Who? [is the] man [who] he will live and not he will see death [who] he will deliver life his from [the] hand of Sheol (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
Okùn ikú yí mi ká, ìrora isà òkú wá sórí mi; ìyọnu àti ìbànújẹ́ borí mi. (Sheol h7585)
They surrounded me - [the] cords of death and [the] distresses of Sheol they found me trouble and sorrow I found. (Sheol h7585)
Bí èmi bá gòkè lọ sí ọ̀run, ìwọ wà níbẹ̀; bí èmí ba sì tẹ́ ẹní mi ní ipò òkú, kíyèsi i, ìwọ wà níbẹ̀ pẹ̀lú. (Sheol h7585)
If I will ascend heavens [are] there you and I will spread as a bed Sheol there [are] you. (Sheol h7585)
Wọn yóò wí pé, “Bí ẹni tí ó la aporo sórí ilẹ̀, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni egungun wa tànkálẹ̀ ní ẹnu isà òkú.” (Sheol h7585)
Like [one who] plows and [who] breaks up the earth they have been scattered bones our to [the] mouth of Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
jẹ́ ká gbé wọn mì láààyè, bí ibojì òkú, àti lódidi, bí àwọn tí ń sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ sínú kòtò; (Sheol h7585)
Let us engulf them like Sheol alive and complete like [those who] go down of [the] pit. (Sheol h7585)
Ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ sí ọ̀nà ikú ìgbésẹ̀ rẹ̀ lọ tààrà sí ibojì òkú. (Sheol h7585)
Feet her [are] going down death Sheol steps her they will attain. (Sheol h7585)
Ilé e rẹ̀ ni ọ̀nà tààrà sí isà òkú, tí ó lọ tààrà sí àgbàlá ikú. (Sheol h7585)
[is] [the] ways of Sheol house her [which] go down to [the] chambers of death. (Sheol h7585)
Ṣùgbọ́n wọn ò funra pé àwọn òkú wà níbẹ̀, pé àwọn àlejò rẹ̀ wà ní ìsàlẹ̀ ilẹ̀ isà òkú. (Sheol h7585)
And not he knows that [the] shades [are] there [are] in [the] depths of Sheol invited [ones] her. (Sheol h7585)
Ikú àti ìparun ṣí sílẹ̀ níwájú Olúwa, mélòó mélòó ní nínú ọkàn àwọn ènìyàn. (Sheol h7585)
Sheol and Abaddon [are] before Yahweh indeed? for [the] hearts of [the] children of humankind. (Sheol h7585)
Ọ̀nà ìyè ń lọ sókè fún ọlọ́gbọ́n láti sọ kí ó má bá à sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ sí ipò òkú. (Sheol h7585)
[the] path of Life [is] upwards for [one who] acts prudently so as to turn aside from Sheol beneath. (Sheol h7585)
Bí ìwọ fi pàṣán nà án, ìwọ ó sì gbà ọkàn rẹ̀ là kúrò ní ọ̀run àpáàdì. (Sheol h7585)
You with the rod you will strike him and life his from Sheol you will deliver. (Sheol h7585)
Kò tẹ́ ikú àti ìparun lọ́rùn rí bẹ́ẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ni ojú ènìyàn kò rí ìtẹ́lọ́rùn rí. (Sheol h7585)
Sheol (and destruction its *Q(K)*) not they are satisfied and [the] eyes of person not they are satisfied. (Sheol h7585)

Sheol and barrenness of a womb land [which] not it is satisfied water and fire [which] not it says enough. (Sheol h7585)
Ohunkóhun tí ọwọ́ rẹ bá rí láti ṣe, ṣe é pẹ̀lú gbogbo agbára rẹ, nítorí kò sí iṣẹ́ ṣíṣe tàbí ìpinnu tàbí ìmọ̀ tàbí ọgbọ́n nínú isà òkú níbi tí ò ń lọ. (Sheol h7585)
All that it finds hand your to do with strength your do for there not [is] work and explanation and knowledge and wisdom in Sheol where you [are] going there towards. (Sheol h7585)

Put me like seal on heart your like seal on arm your for [is] strong like death love [is] severe like Sheol jealousy flashes its [are] flashes of fire a flame of [the] Lord. (Sheol h7585)
Nítorí náà isà òkú ti ń dátọ́mì gidigidi, ó sì ti ya ẹnu rẹ̀ sílẹ̀ gbagada, nínú rẹ̀ ni àwọn gbajúmọ̀ àti mẹ̀kúnnù yóò sọ̀kalẹ̀ sí pẹ̀lú ọlá àti ògo wọn. (Sheol h7585)
Therefore it will enlarge Sheol throat its and it will open wide mouth its to not limit and it will go down splendor its and multitude its and uproar its and [one] exulting in it. (Sheol h7585)
“Béèrè fún àmì lọ́wọ́ Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ, bóyá ní ọ̀gbun tí ó jì jùlọ tàbí àwọn òkè tí ó ga jùlọ.” (Sheol h7585)
Ask for yourself a sign from with Yahweh God your make deep [as] Sheol or make high upwards. (Sheol h7585)
Ibojì tí ó wà ní ìsàlẹ̀ ni a ru sókè láti pàdé rẹ ní ìpadàbọ̀ rẹ̀ ó ru ẹ̀mí àwọn tí ó ti lọ sókè láti wá kí ọ gbogbo àwọn tí ó jẹ́ olórí ní ayé ó mú kí wọn dìde lórí ìtẹ́ wọn gbogbo àwọn tí ó jẹ ọba lórí àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè. (Sheol h7585)
Sheol beneath it is excited to you to meet coming you it has roused to you shades all [the] leaders of [the] earth it has made rise from thrones their all [the] kings of [the] nations. (Sheol h7585)
Gbogbo rẹ̀ ni ó di ìrẹ̀sílẹ̀ lọ sí ibojì, pẹ̀lú ariwo àwọn dùùrù rẹ, àwọn ìdin ni wọ́n fọ́nkálẹ̀ lábẹ́ rẹ àwọn ekòló sì ti bò ọ́ mọ́lẹ̀. (Sheol h7585)
It has been brought down Sheol (pride your *LA(bh)*) [the] sound of lyres your under you it is spread as a bed maggot[s] and coverings your [are] worm[s]. (Sheol h7585)
Ṣùgbọ́n a ti rẹ̀ ọ́ sílẹ̀ wọ inú ibojì lọ lọ sí ìsàlẹ̀ ọ̀gbun. (Sheol h7585)
Nevertheless to Sheol you have been brought down to [the] remotest parts of [the] pit. (Sheol h7585)
Ẹ fọ́n pé, “Àwa ti bá ikú mulẹ̀, pẹ̀lú ibojì ni àwa ti jọ ṣe àdéhùn. Nígbà tí ìbáwí gbígbóná fẹ́ kọjá, kò le kàn wá lára, nítorí a ti fi irọ́ ṣe ààbò o wa àti àìṣòótọ́ ibi ìpamọ́ wa.” (Sheol h7585)
For you have said we have made a covenant with death and with Sheol we have made an agreement (a scourge *Q(K)*) overflowing if (it will pass by *Q(K)*) not it will come to us for we have made falsehood refuge our and in deception we have hidden ourselves. (Sheol h7585)
Májẹ̀mú yín tí ẹ bá ikú dá ni a ó fa igi lé; àdéhùn yín pẹ̀lú ibojì ni kì yóò dúró. Nígbà tí ìbínú gbígbóná náà bá fẹ́ kọjá, a ó ti ipa rẹ̀ lù yín bolẹ̀. (Sheol h7585)
And it will be annulled covenant your with death and agreement your with Sheol not it will stand a scourge overflowing if it will pass by and you will become for it a trampling place. (Sheol h7585)
Èmi wí pé, “Ní àárín gbùngbùn ọjọ́ ayé mi èmi ó ha kọjá lọ ní ibodè ikú kí a sì dùn mí ní àwọn ọdún mi tí ó ṣẹ́kù?” (Sheol h7585)
I I said in [the] half of days my let me go in [the] gates of Sheol I have been caused to miss [the] remainder of years my. (Sheol h7585)

And you journeyed to the king with oil and you increased perfumes your and you sent (envoys your *L(abh)*) to from a distance and you showed abasement to Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
“‘Èyí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Ní ọjọ́ ti a mú u wá sí isà òkú mo fi ọ̀fọ̀ ṣíṣe bo orísun omi jíjìn náà, mo dá àwọn ìṣàn omi rẹ̀ dúró, àti ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ omi rẹ̀ ní a dí lọ́nà. Nítorí rẹ̀ mo fi ìwúwo ọkàn wọ Lebanoni ní aṣọ, gbogbo igi igbó gbẹ dànù. (Sheol h7585)
Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh on [the] day went down it Sheol towards I caused mourning I covered over it [the] deep and I withheld rivers its and they were restrained waters many and I made mourn on it Lebanon and all [the] trees of the field on it [were] wilted. (Sheol h7585)

From [the] sound of downfall its I caused to tremble nations when brought down I it Sheol towards with [those who] go down of [the] pit and they were comforted in [the] earth lowest all [the] trees of Eden [the] choicest and [the] good of Lebanon all drinkers of water. (Sheol h7585)

They will speak to him [the] leaders of [the] mighty [ones] from [the] midst of Sheol with helpers his they have come down they have lain down the uncircumcised [men] [those] slain of a sword. (Sheol h7585)
Wọn kì yóò sì dùbúlẹ̀ ti àwọn tí ó ṣubú nínú àwọn aláìkọlà, tí wọn sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ sí ipò òkú pẹ̀lú ìhámọ́ra ogun wọn, wọ́n tí fi idà wọn rọ orí wọn. Ṣùgbọ́n àìṣedéédéé wọn yóò wà ní orí egungun wọn—bí wọ́n tilẹ̀ jẹ́ ẹ̀rù àwọn alágbára ní ilẹ̀ alààyè. (Sheol h7585)
And not they lie with warriors fallen from uncircumcised [men] who they went down Sheol with [the] weapons of war their and people put swords their under heads their and it was iniquities their on bones their for terror of warriors [was] in [the] land of [the] living. (Sheol h7585)
