They served in the days of Joiakim son of Jeshua son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor and of Ezra the priest and scribe.
27 Nígbà ìyàsímímọ́ odi Jerusalẹmu a mú àwọn ọmọ Lefi jáde wá láti ibi tí wọ́n ń gbé, wọ́n sì mú wọn wá sí Jerusalẹmu láti fi ayọ̀ ṣe ayẹyẹ ìyàsímímọ́ pẹ̀lú orin ìdúpẹ́ àti pẹ̀lú ohun èlò orin kimbali, haapu àti ohun èlò orin olókùn.
At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, the people sought out the Levites wherever they lived, to bring them to Jerusalem to celebrate the dedication with joy, with thanksgivings and singing with cymbals, harps, and with lyres.
28 A kó àwọn akọrin náà jọ papọ̀ láti àwọn ìletò tí ó yí Jerusalẹmu náà ká—láti àwọn abúlé Netofa,
The fellowship of singers gathered together from the district around Jerusalem and from the villages of the Netophathites.
29 láti Beti-Gilgali, àti láti àwọn agbègbè Geba àti Asmafeti, nítorí àwọn akọrin ti kọ́ àwọn ìletò fúnra wọn ní agbègbè Jerusalẹmu.
They also came from Beth Gilgal and from the fields of Geba and Azmaveth, for the singers had built for themselves villages around Jerusalem.
30 Nígbà tí àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn ọmọ Lefi ti ya ara wọn sí mímọ́, wọ́n ya àwọn ènìyàn sí mímọ́, àti ẹnu ibodè àti odi pẹ̀lú.
The priests and the Levites purified themselves, and then they purified the people, the gates, and the wall.
31 Mo sì tún yan àwọn olórí Juda láti gun orí odi náà. Mo sì tún yan àwọn ẹgbẹ́ akọrin ńlá méjì láti dúpẹ́. Àwọn kan yóò gòkè odi lọ sí apá ọ̀tún sí ọ̀nà ibodè Ààtàn.
Then I had the leaders of Judah go up to the top of the wall, and I appointed two large choirs who gave thanks. One went to the right on the wall toward the Dung Gate.
32 Hoṣaiah àti ìdajì àwọn olórí Juda tẹ̀lé wọn,
Hoshaiah and half the leaders of Judah followed them,
33 àwọn wọ̀nyí náà sì lọ pẹ̀lú wọn, Asariah, Esra, Meṣullamu,
and after them went Azariah, Ezra, Meshullam,
34 Juda, Benjamini, Ṣemaiah, Jeremiah,
Judah, Benjamin, Shemaiah, Jeremiah,
35 pẹ̀lú àwọn àlùfáà díẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ìpè, pẹ̀lú u Sekariah ọmọ Jonatani, ọmọ Ṣemaiah, ọmọ Mattaniah, ọmọ Mikaiah, ọmọ Sakkuri, ọmọ Asafu,
and some of the priests' sons with trumpets, and Zechariah son of Jonathan son of Shemaiah son of Mattaniah son of Micaiah son of Zaccur son of Asaph.
36 àti àwọn ẹlẹgbẹ́ rẹ̀, Ṣemaiah, Asareeli, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Netaneli, Juda àti Hanani—pẹ̀lú ohun èlò orin bí àṣẹ Dafidi ènìyàn Ọlọ́run. Esra akọ̀wé ni ó ṣáájú wọn bí wọ́n ti ń tò lọ lọ́wọ̀ọ̀wọ́.
There also were Zechariah's relatives, Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God. Ezra the scribe was in front of them.
37 Ní ẹnu ibodè orísun wọ́n ti ń lọ tààrà sí ọ̀nà ní orí àtẹ̀gùn ìlú Dafidi ní orí òkè tí ó kángun sí odi, wọ́n sì gba ẹ̀gbẹ́ ilé Dafidi kọjá títí dé ẹnu ibodè omi ní ìhà ìlà-oòrùn.
By the Fountain Gate they went straight up on the stairs of the city of David, by the stairway to the wall above David's palace, to the Water Gate on the east.
38 Àwọn ẹgbẹ́ akọrin kejì gba ọ̀nà òdìkejì lọ. Mo tẹ̀lé wọn ní orí odi, pẹ̀lú ìdajì àwọn ènìyàn, kọjá ilé ìṣọ́ ìléru lọ sí odi fífẹ̀,
The other choir of those who gave thanks went in the other direction. I followed them on the wall with half the people, above the Tower of Ovens, to the Broad Wall,
39 kọjá ẹnu ibodè Efraimu ibodè Jeṣana, ẹnu ibodè ẹja, ilé ìṣọ́ Hananeli àti ilé ìṣọ́ ọgọ́rùn-ún, títí dé ẹnu ibodè àgùntàn. Wọ́n sì dúró ní ibodè ìṣọ́.
and above the Gate of Ephraim, and by the Old Gate, and by the Fish Gate and the Tower of Hananel and the Tower of the Hundred, to the Sheep Gate, and they stopped at the Gate of the Guard.
40 Àwọn ẹgbẹ́ akọrin méjèèjì tí wọ́n dúpẹ́ wà ní ààyè nínú ilé Ọlọ́run, èmi náà sì dúró ní ààyè mi pẹ̀lú ìdajì àwọn ìjòyè,
So both choirs of those who gave thanks took their place in the house of God, and I also took my place with half of the officials with me.
41 àti àwọn àlùfáà Eliakimu, Maaseiah, Miniamini, Mikaiah, Elioenai, Sekariah àti Hananiah pẹ̀lú àwọn ìpè wọn.
Then the priests took their place: Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with the trumpets,
42 Àti pẹ̀lú Maaseiah, Ṣemaiah, Eleasari àti Ussi, àti Jehohanani, àti Malkiah, àti Elamu, àti Eseri. Àwọn akọrin kọrin sókè ní abẹ́ alábojútó Jesrahiah.
and also Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam, and Ezer, and the singers made themselves heard and Jezrahiah was their leader.
43 Ní ọjọ́ náà wọ́n rú ẹbọ ńlá, wọ́n ṣe àjọyọ̀ nítorí Ọlọ́run ti fún wọn ní ayọ̀ ńlá. Àwọn obìnrin àti àwọn ọmọdé sì yọ̀ pẹ̀lú. A lè gbọ́ ariwo ayọ̀ tí ó jáde láti Jerusalẹmu ní jìnnà réré.
They offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy. Also the women and the children rejoiced. So the joy of Jerusalem could be heard far away.
44 Ní àkókò náà, a yan àwọn ènìyàn láti jẹ́ alábojútó yàrá ìṣúra fún àwọn ọrẹ àkọ́so èso àti àwọn ìdámẹ́wàá. Láti inú àwọn oko tí ó wà ní àyíká ìlú ni wọ́n ti ní láti mú wá sínú yàrá ìṣúra, ìpín tí òfin sọ fún àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn ọmọ Lefi, nítorí inú àwọn ará a Juda yọ́ sí àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn ọmọ Lefi tó ń ṣiṣẹ́ ìránṣẹ́.
On that day men were appointed to be in charge of the storerooms for the contributions, the firstfruits, and the tithes, to gather into them the portions required by the law for the priests and for the Levites. Each was assigned to work the fields near the towns. For Judah rejoiced over the priests and the Levites who were standing before them.
45 Wọ́n ń ṣiṣẹ́ Ọlọ́run wọn àti iṣẹ́ ìyàsímímọ́, bẹ́ẹ̀ náà ni fún àwọn akọrin àti àwọn aṣọ́nà, wọ́n ń ṣe gẹ́gẹ́ bí Dafidi àti Solomoni ọmọ rẹ̀ ti pàṣẹ fún wọn.
They performed the service of their God, and the service of purification, and so did the singers and the gatekeepers, in keeping with the command of David and of Solomon his son.
46 Ní ọjọ́ pípẹ́ sẹ́yìn ní ìgbà Dafidi àti Asafu, ni àwọn atọ́nisọ́nà ti wà fún àwọn akọrin àti fún orin ìyìn àti orin ọpẹ́ sí Ọlọ́run.
For long ago, in the days of David and Asaph, there were directors of singers, and there were songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.
47 Nítorí náà ní ìgbà ayé Serubbabeli àti Nehemiah, gbogbo Israẹli ni ó ń dá ìpín lójoojúmọ́ fún àwọn akọrin àti àwọn aṣọ́nà. Wọ́n sì tún yan ìpín mìíràn sọ́tọ̀ fún àwọn ọmọ Lefi tókù, àwọn ọmọ Lefi náà tún ya ìpín ti àwọn ọmọ Aaroni sọ́tọ̀ fún wọn.
In the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah, all Israel gave the daily portions for the singers and the gatekeepers. They set aside the portion that was for the Levites, and the Levites set aside a portion for the descendants of Aaron.
