28 “Àwọn ènìyàn tókù—àwọn àlùfáà, àwọn ọmọ Lefi, àwọn aṣọ́nà, àwọn ìránṣẹ́ tẹmpili àti gbogbo àwọn tí wọ́n ya ara wọn sọ́tọ̀ kúrò lára àwọn ènìyàn àjèjì nítorí òfin Ọlọ́run, papọ̀ pẹ̀lú ìyàwó wọn, gbogbo ọmọkùnrin àti àwọn ọmọbìnrin wọn, tí òye yé
And, the rest of the people—the priests, the Levites, the doorkeepers, the singers, the Nethinim, and all who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons and their daughters, —every one having knowledge and understanding,
29 gbogbo wọn fi ara mọ́ àwọn arákùnrin wọn, àwọn ọlọ́lá, wọ́n sì fi ègún àti ìbúra dé ara wọn láti máa tẹ̀lé òfin Ọlọ́run tí a fi fún wọn ní ipasẹ̀ Mose ìránṣẹ́ Ọlọ́run àti láti pa gbogbo àṣẹ, ìlànà àti òfin Olúwa, wa mọ́ dáradára.
were holding fast unto their distinguished brethren, and were entering into a curse and into an oath, to walk in the law of God, which was given through Moses the servant of God, —and to observe and do, all the commandments of Yahweh our Lord, and his regulations, and his statutes;
30 “A ti ṣe ìlérí pé, a kò ní fi àwọn ọmọbìnrin wa fún àwọn tí wọ́n wà ní àyíká wa bí ìyàwó, tàbí fẹ́ àwọn ọmọbìnrin wọn fún àwọn ọmọkùnrin wa.
and that we would not give our daughters unto the peoples of the land, —and, their daughters, would we not take for our sons;
31 “Nígbà tí àwọn ènìyàn àdúgbò bá mú ọjà tàbí oúnjẹ wá ní ọjọ́ ìsinmi láti tà, àwa kò ní rà á ní ọwọ́ wọn ní ọjọ́ ìsinmi tàbí ní ọjọ́ mímọ́ kankan. Ní gbogbo ọdún keje àwa kò ní ro ilẹ̀ náà, a ó sì pa gbogbo àwọn gbèsè rẹ́.
and, if the peoples of the land should be bringing in wares, or any corn on the sabbath day, to sell, we would not buy of them on the sabbath, or on a holy day, —and that we would remit the seventh year, and the loan of every hand.
32 “Àwa gbà ojúṣe láti máa pa àṣẹ mọ́ pé, a ó máa san ìdámẹ́ta ṣékélì ní ọdọọdún fún iṣẹ́ ilé Ọlọ́run wa:
And we laid on ourselves charges, appointing for ourselves the third of a shekel, yearly, —for the service of the house of our God:
33 nítorí oúnjẹ tí ó wà lórí tábìlì; nítorí ọrẹ ohun jíjẹ àti ẹbọ sísun ìgbà gbogbo; nítorí ọrẹ ọjọ́ ìsinmi, ti àyajọ́ oṣù tuntun àti àjọ̀dún tí a yàn; nítorí ọrẹ mímọ́; nítorí ọrẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ láti ṣe ètùtù fún Israẹli; àti fún gbogbo iṣẹ́ ilé Ọlọ́run wa.
for the bread to set in array, and the continual meal-offering, and for the continual ascending-sacrifice, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the appointed feasts, and for things hallowed, and for victims bearing sin, to put a propitiatory-covering over Israel, —and for all the work of the house of our God.
34 “Àwa, àwọn àlùfáà, àwọn ọmọ Lefi àti àwọn ènìyàn náà ti dìbò láti pinnu ìgbà tí olúkúlùkù àwọn ìdílé yóò mú ọrẹ igi wá láti sun lọ́ríi pẹpẹ Olúwa Ọlọ́run wa sí ilé Ọlọ́run wa, ní àkókò tí a yàn ní ọdọọdún. Gẹ́gẹ́ bí a ti kọ ọ́ sínú ìwé òfin.
Also, lots, did we cast, concerning the offering of wood among the priests, the Levites, and the people, to bring it unto the house of our God, by our ancestral houses, at times arranged, year by year, —to burn upon the altar of Yahweh our God, as it is written in the law.
35 “Àwa tún gbà ojúṣe láti mú àkọ́so àwọn èso wa wá àti gbogbo èso igi wá ní ilé Olúwa.
And that we would bring in the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruit of all fruit of all trees, year by year, —unto the house of Yahweh;
36 “Gẹ́gẹ́ bí a sì ti kọ ọ́ sínú ìwé òfin, àwa yóò mú àkọ́bí àwọn ọmọkùnrin wa, ti ohun ọ̀sìn wa, ti àwọn abo màlúù àti ti àwọn àgùntàn wa, wá sí ilé Ọlọ́run wa, fún àwọn àlùfáà tí ń ṣiṣẹ́ níbẹ̀.
also that, the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, —and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, we would bring in unto the house of our God, unto the priests who should be in attendance in the house of our God;
37 “Síwájú sí i, àwa yóò mú àkọ́so oúnjẹ ilẹ̀ wa ti ọrẹ oúnjẹ, ti gbogbo èso àwọn igi àti ti wáìnì tuntun wa àti ti òróró wá sí yàrá ìkó nǹkan pamọ́ sí ilé Ọlọ́run wa àti fún àwọn àlùfáà. Àwa yóò sì mú ìdámẹ́wàá ohun ọ̀gbìn wá fún àwọn ọmọ Lefi, nítorí àwọn ọmọ Lefi ni ó ń gba ìdámẹ́wàá ní gbogbo àwọn ìlú tí a ti ń ṣiṣẹ́.
and, the first part of our meal and our heave-offerings and the fruit of all trees, new wine and oil, would we bring in unto the priests, into the chambers of the house of our God, and the tithe of our ground unto the Levites, —the Levites themselves, taking the tithes in all our cities of agriculture.
38 Àlùfáà tí o ti ìdílé Aaroni wá ni yóò wá pẹ̀lú àwọn ọmọ Lefi nígbà tí wọ́n bá ń gba ìdámẹ́wàá, àwọn ọmọ Lefi yóò sì mú ìdámẹ́wàá ti ìdámẹ́wàá náà wá sí ilé Ọlọ́run, sí yàrá ìkó nǹkan pamọ́ sí inú ilé ìṣúra.
And the priest the son of Aaron should be with the Levites, when the Levites should take the tithes, —and the Levites, should bring up the tithe of the tithe, unto the house of our God, into the chambers pertaining unto the treasure-house.
39 Àwọn ènìyàn Israẹli, àti àwọn ọmọ Lefi gbọdọ̀ mú ọrẹ oúnjẹ, wáìnì tuntun àti òróró wá sí yàrá ìkó nǹkan pamọ́ sí níbi tí a pa ohun èlò ibi mímọ́ mọ́ sí àti ibi tí àwọn àlùfáà tí ń ṣe ìránṣẹ́ lọ́wọ́, àwọn aṣọ́nà àti àwọn akọrin máa ń dúró sí. “Àwa kì yóò gbàgbé tàbí ṣe àìbìkítà nípa ilé Ọlọ́run wa.”
For, into the chambers, should the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi bring in the heave-offering of the corn, the new wine and the oil, since, there, are the utensils of the sanctuary, and the priests who are in attendance, and the doorkeepers, and the singers, —so would we not neglect the house of our God.
