< Mark 15 >
1 Ní kùtùkùtù òwúrọ̀, àwọn olórí àlùfáà, àwọn àgbàgbà, àwọn olùkọ́ òfin àti gbogbo àjọ ìgbìmọ̀ fi ẹnu kò lórí ohun tí wọn yóò ṣe. Wọ́n sì de Jesu, wọ́n mú un lọ, wọ́n sì fi lé Pilatu lọ́wọ́.
And immediately in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
2 Pilatu sì bi í léèrè, ó ni, “Ṣe ìwọ ni ọba àwọn Júù?” Jesu sì dáhùn pé, “Gẹ́gẹ́ bi ìwọ ti wí náà ni.”
And Pilate asked him, Are you the King of the Jews? And he answering said unto them, You say it.
3 Àwọn olórí àlùfáà fi ẹ̀sùn ohun púpọ̀ kàn án.
And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.
4 Pilatu sì tún bi í léèrè pé, “Ṣe ìwọ kò dáhùn ni? Wo gbogbo ẹ̀sùn tí wọ́n fi kàn ọ.”
And Pilate asked him again, saying, Answer you nothing? behold how many things they witness against you.
5 Ṣùgbọ́n Jesu kò dalóhùn síbẹ̀, tó bẹ́ẹ̀ ti ẹnu fi ya Pilatu.
But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.
6 Ní báyìí, nígbà àjọ, gẹ́gẹ́ bí àṣà, òun a máa dá òǹdè kan sílẹ̀ fún wọn, ẹnikẹ́ni tí wọ́n bá béèrè fún.
Now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired.
7 Ọkùnrin kan wà tí orúkọ rẹ̀ ń jẹ́ Baraba. Wọ́n ti ju òun àti àwọn ọlọ̀tẹ̀ ẹgbẹ́ rẹ̀ sí ọgbà ẹ̀wọ̀n, nítorí wọ́n ṣọ̀tẹ̀ sí ìjọba, wọ́n sì pa ènìyàn nínú ìdìtẹ̀ wọn.
And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.
8 Ọ̀pọ̀ ènìyàn sì lọ bá Pilatu, wọ́n ní kí ó ṣe bí ó ti máa ń ṣe fún wọn ní ọdọọdún.
And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.
9 Pilatu béèrè lọ́wọ́ wọn wí pé, “Ṣe ẹ̀yin ń fẹ́ kí èmi dá ọba àwọn Júù sílẹ̀ fún yin?”
But Pilate answered them, saying, Will all of you that I release unto you the King of the Jews?
10 Òun mọ̀ pé nítorí ìlara ni àwọn olórí àlùfáà ṣe fà Jesu lé òun lọ́wọ́.
For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.
11 Nígbà náà ni àwọn olórí àlùfáà ru ọ̀pọ̀ ènìyàn sókè pé, kí ó kúkú dá Baraba sílẹ̀ fún wọn.
But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.
12 Pilatu sì tún béèrè lọ́wọ́ wọn pé, “Kí ni ẹ̀yin ń fẹ́ kí èmi kí ó ṣe pẹ̀lú ẹni ti ẹ̀yin n pè ní ọba àwọn Júù?”
And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will all of you then that I shall do unto him whom all of you call the King of the Jews?
13 Wọ́n sì tún kígbe sókè pé, “Kàn án mọ àgbélébùú!”
And they cried out again, Crucify him.
14 Nígbà náà ni Pilatu bi wọn léèrè pé, “Èéṣe? Búburú kí ni ó ṣe?” Wọ́n sì kígbe sókè gidigidi wí pé, “Kàn án mọ́ àgbélébùú!”
Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil has he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.
15 Pilatu sì ń fẹ́ ṣe èyí tí ó wu àwọn ènìyàn, ó dá Baraba sílẹ̀ fún wọn. Nígbà tí ó sì na Jesu tan o fà á lé wọn lọ́wọ́ láti kàn an mọ́ àgbélébùú.
And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
16 Àwọn ọmọ-ogun sì fà á jáde lọ sínú ààfin (tí a ń pè ní Pretoriomu), wọ́n sì pe gbogbo ẹgbẹ́ àwọn ọmọ-ogun jọ.
And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.
17 Wọn sì fi aṣọ aláwọ̀ àlùkò wọ̀ ọ́, wọ́n hun adé ẹ̀gún, wọ́n sì fi dé e ní orí.
And they clothed him with purple, and intertwined a crown of thorns, and put it about his head,
18 Wọ́n sì bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí i kí ì wí pé, Kábíyèsí, ọba àwọn Júù.
And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!
19 Wọ́n sì fi ọ̀pá lù ú lórí, wọ́n sì tutọ́ sí i lára, wọ́n sì kúnlẹ̀ níwájú rẹ̀, wọ́n sì foríbalẹ̀ fún un.
And they stroke him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.
20 Nígbà tí wọ́n sì fi ṣẹ̀sín tan, wọ́n sì bọ aṣọ elése àlùkò náà kúrò lára rẹ̀, wọ́n sì fi aṣọ rẹ̀ wọ̀ ọ́, wọ́n sì mú un jáde lọ láti kàn án mọ́ àgbélébùú.
And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.
21 Wọ́n rí ọkùnrin kan tí ń kọjá lọ. Simoni ará Kirene. Òun ni baba Aleksanderu àti Rufusi. Wọ́n sì mú un ní tipátipá pé, kí ó rú àgbélébùú Jesu.
And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.
22 Wọ́n sì mú Jesu wá sí Gọlgọta (èyí tí ìtumọ̀ rẹ̀ ń jẹ́ Ibi Agbárí)
And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.
23 Wọ́n sì fi myrri wáìnì tí a dàpọ̀ mọ́ òjìá fún un mu, ṣùgbọ́n òun kò gbà á.
And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.

And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.
25 Ní wákàtí kẹta ọjọ́ ni wọ́n kàn án mọ́ àgbélébùú.
And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
26 Àkọlé ìfisùn tí wọ́n kọ sókè orí rẹ̀ ni: Ọba àwọn Júù.
And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
27 Wọ́n sì kan àwọn olè méjì mọ́ àgbélébùú pẹ̀lú rẹ̀, ọ̀kan lọ́wọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ̀, èkejì lọ́wọ́ òsì rẹ̀.
And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left.
And the scripture was fulfilled, which says, And he was numbered with the transgressors.
29 Àwọn tí ń kọjá lọ sì ń fi ṣe ẹlẹ́yà, wọ́n ń mi orí wọn pẹ̀lú, wọ́n sì ké pé, “Háà! Ìwọ tí yóò wó tẹmpili tí yóò sì tún un kọ́ láàrín ọjọ́ mẹ́ta,
And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, you that destroys the temple, and build it in three days,

Save yourself, and come down from the cross.
31 Bákan náà ni àwọn olórí àlùfáà àti àwọn olùkọ́ òfin fi í ṣẹ̀sín láàrín ara wọn, wọ́n wí pé, “Ó gba àwọn ẹlòmíràn là ṣùgbọ́n, ara rẹ̀ ni kò lè gbàlà.
Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save.
32 Jẹ́ kí Kristi, ọba Israẹli, sọ̀kalẹ̀ láti orí igi àgbélébùú wá nísinsin yìí kí àwa kí ó lè rí i, kí àwa kí ó sì lè gbàgbọ́.” Bákan náà, àwọn ti a kàn mọ́ àgbélébùú pẹ̀lú rẹ̀ sì ń kẹ́gàn rẹ̀.
Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
33 Nígbà tí ó di wákàtí kẹfà, òkùnkùn bo gbogbo ilẹ̀ títí di wákàtí kẹsànán.
And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
35 Nígbà tí àwọn kan nínú àwọn tí wọ́n dúró níbẹ̀ gbọ́, wọ́n sì wí pé, “Wò ó ó ń pe Elijah.”

And one ran and filled a sponge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elijah will come to take him down.
37 Jesu sì tún kígbe sókè ni ohùn rara, ó jọ̀wọ́ ẹ̀mí rẹ̀ lọ́wọ́.
And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the spirit.
38 Aṣọ ìkélé tẹmpili sì fàya sí méjì láti òkè dé ìsàlẹ̀.
And the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom.

And when the centurion, which stood opposite to him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the spirit, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
40 Àwọn obìnrin kan wà níbẹ̀ pẹ̀lú, tí wọ́n ń wò ó láti òkèèrè. Maria Magdalene wà lára àwọn obìnrin náà, àti Maria ìyá Jakọbu kékeré àti ti Jose, àti Salome.
There were also women looking on far off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;

Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.
44 Ẹnu ya Pilatu láti gbọ́ pé Jesu ti kú. Nítorí náà ó pe balógun ọ̀rún, ó sì bí i léèrè bóyá Jesu ti kú nítòótọ́.
And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.
45 Nígbà tí balógun ọ̀rún náà sì fún Pilatu ni ìdánilójú pé Jesu ti kú, Pilatu jọ̀wọ́ òkú rẹ̀ fún Josẹfu.

And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a tomb which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the tomb.
47 Maria Magdalene àti Maria ìyá Jose ń wò ó bi Josẹfu ti n tẹ́ Jesu sí ibojì.
And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.
