< Joel 3 >

1 “Ní ọjọ́ wọ̀n-ọn-nì, àti ní àkókò náà, nígbà tí èmi tún mú ìgbèkùn Juda àti Jerusalẹmu padà bọ̀.
For, in those days and in that time, when I bring back again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 Èmi yóò kó gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè jọ pẹ̀lú èmi yóò sì mú wọn wá sí àfonífojì Jehoṣafati. Èmi yóò sì bá wọn wíjọ́ níbẹ̀ nítorí àwọn ènìyàn mi, àti nítorí Israẹli ìní mi, tí wọ́n fọ́nká sí àárín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, wọ́n sì pín ilẹ̀ mi.
I will also gather all the nations and bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and there I will enter into judgment with them for my people and my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided my land.
3 Wọ́n si ti di ìbò fún àwọn ènìyàn mi; wọ́n sì ti fi ọmọdékùnrin kan fún panṣágà obìnrin kan, wọ́n sì ta ọmọdébìnrin kan fún ọtí wáìnì, kí wọ́n kí ó lè mu.
They have cast lots for my people. They have traded boys for prostitutes, and sold girls for wine, and drunk it.
4 “Nísinsin yìí, kí ni ẹ̀yin ní fi mí ṣe Tire àti Sidoni, àti gbogbo ẹ̀yin ẹkún Filistia? Ẹ̀yin yóò ha sàn ẹ̀san fún mi? Bí ẹ̀yin bá sì san ẹ̀san fún mi, ní kánkán àti ní kíákíá ní èmi yóò san ẹ̀san ohun ti ẹ̀yin ṣe padà sórí ara yín.
What are you to me, Tyre and Sidon and all the districts of Philistia? Were you repaying any deed of mine, or were you doing something for me? Quickly will I return your deed upon your heads.
5 Nítorí tí ẹ̀yin tí mú fàdákà mi àti wúrà mi, ẹ̀yin si tí mú ohun rere dáradára mi lọ sínú tẹmpili yín.
You who have taken my silver and my gold, and you have brought my goodly jewels into your palaces,
6 Àti àwọn ọmọ Juda, àti àwọn ọmọ Jerusalẹmu ní ẹ̀yin ti tà fún àwọn ará Giriki, kí ẹ̀yin bá à lè sí wọn jìnnà kúrò ní agbègbè ilẹ̀ ìní wọn.
you have sold the people of Judah and of Jerusalem to the Greeks, so that you might remove them far from their own borders.
7 “Kíyèsi í, èmi yóò gbé wọ́n dìde kúrò níbi tì ẹ̀yin ti tà wọ́n sí, èmi yóò sì san ẹ̀san ohun ti ẹ ṣe padà sórí ara yín.
I am about to stir them up from the place to which you have sold them, and I will turn your deeds upon your own head.
8 Èmi yóò si tà àwọn ọmọkùnrin yín àti àwọn ọmọbìnrin yín sí ọwọ́ àwọn ọmọ Juda, wọ́n yóò sì tà wọ́n fún àwọn ara Sabeani, fún orílẹ̀-èdè kan tí ó jìnnà réré.” Nítorí Olúwa ní o ti sọ ọ.
I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hands of the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans, to a nation far off, for the Lord has spoken.
9 Ẹ kéde èyí ní àárín àwọn kèfèrí; ẹ dira ogun, ẹ jí àwọn alágbára. Jẹ kí àwọn ajagun kí wọn bẹ̀rẹ̀ ogun.
Proclaim this among the nations, sanctify war. Arouse the warriors, let all the fighting men muster and go up.
10 Ẹ fi irin ìtulẹ̀ yín rọ idà, àti dòjé yín rọ ọ̀kọ̀. Jẹ́ kí aláìlera wí pé, “Ara mi le koko.”
Beat your ploughshares into swords, and your pruning-hooks into lances; let the weak say, I, indeed, am strong.
11 Ẹ wá kánkán, gbogbo ẹ̀yin kèfèrí láti gbogbo àyíká, kí ẹ sì gbá ara yín jọ yí káàkiri. Níbẹ̀ ní kí o mú àwọn alágbára rẹ sọ̀kalẹ̀, Olúwa.
Bestir yourselves and come, all you nations round about. Quickly gather yourselves together, ask the Lord to bring his warriors.
12 “Ẹ jí, ẹ sì gòkè wá sí àfonífojì Jehoṣafati ẹ̀yin kèfèrí: nítorí níbẹ̀ ní èmi yóò jókòó láti ṣe ìdájọ́ àwọn kèfèrí yí káàkiri.
Let the nations rouse themselves and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there will I sit to judge all the surrounding nations.
13 Ẹ tẹ dòjé bọ̀ ọ́, nítorí ìkórè pọ́n. Ẹ wá, ẹ sọ̀kalẹ̀, nítorí ìfúntí kún, nítorí àwọn ọpọ́n kún àkúnwọ́sílẹ̀, nítorí ìwà búburú wọn pọ̀!”
Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe; go in, tread, for the wine press is full. The vats overflow, for great is their wickedness.
14 Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀, ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ní àfonífojì ìpinnu! Nítorí ọjọ́ Olúwa kù si dẹ̀dẹ̀ ní àfonífojì ìdájọ́.
Noisy multitudes, noisy multitudes in the valley of decision. For near is the Lord’s day in the valley of decision!
15 Oòrùn àti òṣùpá yóò ṣú òkùnkùn, àti àwọn ìràwọ̀ kí yóò tan ìmọ́lẹ̀ wọn mọ́.
Sun and moon have turned dark, and the stars withdrawn their shining.
16 Olúwa yóò sí ké ramúramù láti Sioni wá, yóò sì fọ ohùn rẹ̀ jáde láti Jerusalẹmu wá; àwọn ọ̀run àti ayé yóò sì mì tìtì. Ṣùgbọ́n Olúwa yóò ṣe ààbò àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀, àti agbára àwọn ọmọ Israẹli.
Whenever the Lord roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem, earth and sky quake; but the Lord is a refuge to his people, and a fortress to the people of Israel.
17 “Nígbà náà ni ẹ̀yin yóò mọ̀ pé, èmi ni Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín, tí ń gbé Sioni òkè mímọ́ mi. Ìgbà náà ni Jerusalẹmu yóò jẹ́ mímọ́; àwọn àjèjì kì yóò sì kó o mọ́.
And you will know that I am the Lord your God, I who dwells in Zion, my holy mountain, and Jerusalem will be holy, and strangers will not pass through her any more.
18 “Ní ọjọ́ náà, àwọn òkè ńlá yóò máa kán ọtí wáìnì tuntun sílẹ̀, àwọn òkè kéékèèké yóò máa sàn fún wàrà; gbogbo odò Juda tí ó gbẹ́ yóò máa sàn fún omi. Orísun kan yóò sì ṣàn jáde láti inú ilé Olúwa wá, yóò sì rin omi sí àfonífojì Ṣittimu.
In that day, the mountains will drop sweet wine, the hills will flow with milk, all the channels of Judah will flow with water, a fountain will spring from the house of Judah, and will water the Valley of Shittim.
19 Ṣùgbọ́n Ejibiti yóò di ahoro, Edomu yóò sì di aṣálẹ̀ ahoro, nítorí ìwà ipá tí a hù sì àwọn ọmọ Juda, ní ilẹ̀ ẹni tí wọ́n ti ta ẹ̀jẹ̀ aláìṣẹ̀ sílẹ̀.
Egypt will become a desolation, and Edom a wilderness, because of the violence done to the people of Judah, because they shed innocent blood in their land,
20 Ṣùgbọ́n Juda yóò jẹ́ ibùgbé títí láé, àti Jerusalẹmu láti ìran dé ìran.
Judah will remain inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 Nítorí èmi yóò wẹ ẹ̀bi ẹ̀jẹ̀ wọn nù, tí èmi kò tí ì wẹ̀nù.
I will avenge their blood which I have not yet avenged. The Lord lives in Zion!
