< Isaiah 55 >
1 “Ẹ wá, gbogbo ẹ̀yin tí òǹgbẹ ń gbẹ, ẹ wá sí ibi omi; àti ẹ̀yin tí kò ní owó; ẹ wá, ẹ rà kí ẹ sì jẹ! Ẹ wá ra wáìnì àti wàrà láìsí owó àti láìdíyelé.
“Come, everyone who is thirsty, come to the water, and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.
2 Èéṣe tí ẹ fi ń ná owó fún èyí tí kì í ṣe àkàrà àti làálàá yín lórí ohun tí kì í tẹ́nilọ́rùn? Tẹ́tí sílẹ̀, tẹ́tí sí mi, kí ẹ sì jẹ èyí tí ó dára, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ọkàn yín yóò láyọ̀ nínú ọrọ̀ tí ó bójúmu.
Why do you weigh out silver for what is not bread, and why do you labor for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to me and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in fatness.
3 Tẹ́tí sílẹ̀ kí o sì wá sọ́dọ̀ mi; gbọ́ tèmi, kí ọkàn rẹ lè wà láààyè. Èmi yóò dá májẹ̀mú ayérayé pẹ̀lú rẹ, ìfẹ́ òtítọ́ tí mo ṣèlérí fún Dafidi.
Turn your ears and come to me! Listen, that you may live! I will make an everlasting covenant with you—my reliable, faithful love that I promised to David.
4 Kíyèsi i, mo ti fi òun ṣe ẹlẹ́rìí fún àwọn ènìyàn, olórí àti apàṣẹ fún àwọn ènìyàn.
Look, I have placed him as a witness to the nations, as a leader and commander to the peoples.
5 Lóòtítọ́ ìwọ yóò ké sí àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè tí ìwọ kò mọ̀ àti orílẹ̀-èdè tí ìwọ kò mọ̀ ni yóò sáré tọ̀ ọ́ wá, nítorí Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ Ẹni Mímọ́ Israẹli nítorí pé ó ti fi ohun dídára dá ọ lọ́lá.”
Look, you will call to a nation that you did not know; and a nation that did not know you will run to you because of Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, who has glorified you.”
6 Ẹ wá Olúwa nígbà tí ẹ lè rí i; ẹ pè é nígbà tí ó wà nítòsí.
Seek Yahweh while he may be found; call on him while he is nearby.
7 Jẹ́ kí ìkà kí ó kọ ọ̀nà rẹ̀ sílẹ̀ àti ènìyàn búburú èrò rẹ̀. Jẹ́ kí ó yípadà sí Olúwa, Òun yóò sì ṣàánú fún un, àti sí Ọlọ́run wa, nítorí Òun yóò sì dáríjì.
Let the wicked leave his path, and the man of sin his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will pity him, and to our God, who will abundantly forgive him.
8 “Nítorí èrò mi kì í ṣe èrò yín, tàbí ọ̀nà yín a ha máa ṣe ọ̀nà mi,” ni Olúwa wí.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways—this is Yahweh's declaration—
9 “Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọ̀run ti ga ju ayé lọ, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ọ̀nà mi ga ju ọ̀nà yín lọ àti èrò mi ju èrò yín lọ.
for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 Gẹ́gẹ́ bí òjò àti yìnyín ti wálẹ̀ láti ọ̀run tí kì í sì padà sí ibẹ̀ láì bomirin ilẹ̀ kí ó sì mú kí ó tanná kí ó sì rudi, tó bẹ́ẹ̀ tí yóò fi mú irúgbìn fún afúnrúgbìn àti àkàrà fún ọ̀jẹun,
For as the rain and snow come down from heaven and do not return there unless they saturate the earth and make it produce and sprout and give seed to the farmer who sows and bread to the eater,
11 bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ọ̀rọ̀ mi tí ó jáde láti ẹnu mi wá; kì yóò padà sọ́dọ̀ mi lọ́wọ́ òfo, ṣùgbọ́n yóò ṣe ohun tí mo fẹ́, yóò sì mú ète mi tí mo fi rán an wá sí ìmúṣẹ.
so also my word will be that goes from my mouth—it will not return to me empty, but it will achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
12 Ẹ̀yin yóò jáde lọ ní ayọ̀ a ó sì darí i yín lọ ní àlàáfíà; òkè ńlá ńlá àti kéékèèké yóò bú sí orin níwájú yín àti gbogbo igi inú pápá yóò máa pàtẹ́wọ́.
For you will go out in joy and be led along peacefully; the mountains and the hills will break out in joyful shouts before you, and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands.
13 Dípò igi ẹ̀gún ni igi junifa yóò máa dàgbà, àti dípò ẹ̀wọ̀n, maritili ni yóò yọ. Èyí yóò wà fún òkìkí Olúwa, fún àmì ayérayé, tí a kì yóò lè parun.”
Instead of the thornbushes, the cypress will grow; and instead of the brier, the myrtle tree will grow, and it will be for Yahweh, for his name, as an everlasting sign that will not be cut off.”
