< Isaiah 52 >
1 Jí, jí, ìwọ Sioni, wọ ara rẹ ní agbára. Gbé aṣọ ògo rẹ wọ̀, ìwọ Jerusalẹmu, ìlú mímọ́ n nì. Àwọn aláìkọlà àti aláìmọ́ kì yóò wọ inú rẹ mọ́.
Awake, awake, clothe yourself with strength, O Zion! Put on your garments of splendor, O Jerusalem, holy city! For the uncircumcised and unclean will no longer enter you.
2 Gbọn eruku rẹ kúrò; dìde sókè, kí o sì gúnwà, ìwọ Jerusalẹmu. Bọ́ ẹ̀wọ̀n tí ń bẹ lọ́rùn rẹ kúrò, ìwọ ọ̀dọ́mọbìnrin ìgbèkùn Sioni.
Shake off your dust! Rise up and sit on your throne, O Jerusalem. Remove the chains from your neck, O captive Daughter of Zion.
3 Nítorí èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa wí, “Ọ̀fẹ́ ni a tà ọ́, láìsanwó ni a ó sì rà ọ́ padà.”
For this is what the LORD says: “You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed.”
4 Nítorí èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí. “Ní ìgbà àkọ́kọ́ àwọn ènìyàn mi sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ sí Ejibiti láti gbé; láìpẹ́ ni Asiria pọ́n wọn lójú.
For this is what the Lord GOD says: “At first My people went down to Egypt to live, then Assyria oppressed them without cause.
5 “Àti ní àkókò yìí, kí ni mo ní níbí?” ni Olúwa wí. “Nítorí a ti kó àwọn ènìyàn mi lọ lọ́fẹ̀ẹ́, àwọn tí ó sì ń jẹ ọba lórí wọn fi wọ́n ṣẹlẹ́yà,” ni Olúwa wí. “Àti ní ọjọọjọ́ orúkọ mi ni asọ̀rọ̀-òdì sí nígbà gbogbo.
And now what have I here? declares the LORD. For My people have been taken without cause; those who rule them taunt, declares the LORD, and My name is blasphemed continually all day long.
6 Nítorí náà àwọn ènìyàn mi yóò mọ orúkọ mi; nítorí ní ọjọ́ náà, wọn yóò mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni ó ti sọ àsọtẹ́lẹ̀ rẹ̀. Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni, Èmi ni.”
Therefore My people will know My name; therefore they will know on that day that I am He who speaks. Here I am!”
7 Báwo ni ó ṣe dára tó lórí òkè ẹsẹ̀ àwọn tí ó mú ìyìnrere ayọ̀ wá, tí wọ́n kéde àlàáfíà, tí ó mú ìyìnrere wá, tí ó kéde ìgbàlà, tí ó sọ fún Sioni pé, “Ọlọ́run rẹ ń jẹ ọba!”
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
8 Tẹ́tí sílẹ̀! Àwọn olùṣọ́ rẹ gbé ohùn wọn sókè wọ́n kígbe papọ̀ fún ayọ̀. Nígbà tí Olúwa padà sí Sioni, wọn yóò rí i pẹ̀lú ojú u wọn.
Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices, together they shout for joy. For every eye will see when the LORD returns to Zion.
9 Ẹ bú sí orin ayọ̀ papọ̀, ẹ̀yin ahoro Jerusalẹmu, nítorí Olúwa ti tu àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ nínú, ó sì ti ra Jerusalẹmu padà.
Break forth in joy, sing together, O ruins of Jerusalem, for the LORD has comforted His people; He has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 Olúwa yóò ṣí apá mímọ́ rẹ̀ sílẹ̀ ní ojú gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè, àti gbogbo òpin ilẹ̀ ayé yóò rí ìgbàlà Ọlọ́run wa.
The LORD has bared His holy arm in the sight of all the nations; all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.
11 Ẹ túká, ẹ túká, ẹ jáde kúrò níhìn-ín yìí! Ẹ má fọwọ́ kan ohun àìmọ́ kan! Ẹ jáde kúrò nínú rẹ̀ kí ẹ sì di mímọ́, ẹ̀yin tí ẹ̀ ń gbé ohun èlò Olúwa.
Depart, depart, go out from there! Touch no unclean thing; come out from it, purify yourselves, you who carry the vessels of the LORD.
12 Ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin kì yóò yára kúrò tàbí kí ẹ sáré lọ; nítorí Olúwa ni yóò síwájú yín lọ, Ọlọ́run Israẹli ni yóò sì ṣe ààbò lẹ́yìn ín yín.
For you will not leave in a hurry nor flee in haste, for the LORD goes before you, and the God of Israel is your rear guard.
13 Kíyèsi i, ìránṣẹ́ mi yóò hùwà ọlọ́gbọ́n; òun ni a ó gbé sókè tí a ó sì gbéga a ó sì gbé e lékè gidigidi.
Behold, My Servant will prosper; He will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.
14 Gẹ́gẹ́ bí a ti rí ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ tí wọ́n ń bu ọlá fún un— ìwò ojú rẹ ni a ti bàjẹ́ kọjá ti ẹnikẹ́ni àti ìrísí rẹ̀ ní a ti bàjẹ́ kọjá ohun tí ènìyàn ń fẹ́.
Just as many were appalled at Him — His appearance was disfigured beyond that of any man, and His form was marred beyond human likeness—
15 Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni yóò ṣe bomirin àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè ká, àwọn ọba yóò sì pa ẹnu wọn mọ́ nítorí rẹ̀. Nítorí ohun tí a kò sọ fún wọn, wọn yóò rí i, àti ohun tí wọn kò tí ì gbọ́, ni yóò sì yé wọn.
so He will sprinkle many nations. Kings will shut their mouths because of Him. For they will see what they have not been told, and they will understand what they have not heard.
