< Isaiah 35 >
1 Aginjù àti ìyàngbẹ ilẹ̀ yóò yọ̀ fún wọn; aginjù yóò ṣe àjọyọ̀ yóò sì kún fún ìtànná. Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ewéko,
The desolate and impassable land will rejoice, and the place of solitude will exult, and it will flourish like the lily.
2 ní títanná yóò tanná; yóò yọ ayọ̀ ńlá ńlá yóò sì kọrin. Ògo Lebanoni ni a ó fi fún un, ẹwà Karmeli àti Ṣaroni; wọn yóò rí ògo Olúwa, àti ẹwà Ọlọ́run wa.
It will spring up and blossom, and it will exult with rejoicing and praising. The glory of Lebanon has been given to it, with the beauty of Carmel and Sharon. These will see the glory of the Lord and the beauty of our God.
3 Fún ọwọ́ àìlera lókun, mú orúnkún tí ń yẹ̀ lókun.
Strengthen the lax hands, and confirm the weak knees!
4 Sọ fún àwọn oníbẹ̀rù ọkàn pé, “Ẹ ṣe gírí, ẹ má bẹ̀rù; Ọlọ́run yín yóò wá, òun yóò wá pẹ̀lú ìgbẹ̀san; pẹ̀lú ìgbẹ̀san mímọ́ òun yóò wá láti gbà yín là.”
Say to the fainthearted: “Take courage and fear not! Behold, your God will bring the vindication of retribution. God himself will arrive to save you.”
5 Nígbà náà ni a ó la ojú àwọn afọ́jú àti etí àwọn odi kì yóò dákẹ́.
Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be cleared.
6 Nígbà náà ni àwọn arọ yóò máa fò bí àgbọ̀nrín, àti ahọ́n odi yóò ké fún ayọ̀. Odò yóò tú jáde nínú aginjù àti àwọn odò nínú aṣálẹ̀.
Then the disabled will leap like a buck, and the tongue of the mute will be untied. For the waters have burst forth in the desert, and torrents in solitary places.
7 Ilẹ̀ iyanrìn yíyan yóò di àbàtà, ilẹ̀ tí ń pòǹgbẹ yóò di orísun omi. Ní ibùgbé àwọn dragoni, níbi tí olúkúlùkù dùbúlẹ̀, ni ó jẹ́ ọgbà fún eèsún àti papirusi.
And the land that was dry will have a pond, and the thirsty land will have fountains of water. In the hollows where the serpents lived before, there will rise up the greenery of reed and bulrush.
8 Àti òpópónà kan yóò wà níbẹ̀: a ó sì máa pè é ní ọ̀nà ìwà mímọ́. Àwọn aláìmọ́ kì yóò tọ ọ̀nà náà; yóò sì wà fún àwọn tí ń rìn ní ọ̀nà náà, àwọn ìkà búburú kì yóò gba ibẹ̀ kọjá.
And there shall be a path and a road in that place. And it will be called the Holy Way. The defiled will not pass through it. For this will be an upright path for you, so much so that the foolish will not wander along it.
9 Kì yóò sí kìnnìún níbẹ̀, tàbí kí ẹranko búburú kí ó dìde lórí i rẹ̀; a kì yóò rí wọn níbẹ̀. Ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ẹni ìràpadà nìkan ni yóò rìn níbẹ̀,
There will be no lions in that place, and harmful wild animals will neither climb up to it, nor be found there. Only those who have been freed will walk in that place.
10 àwọn ẹni ìràpadà Olúwa yóò padà wá. Wọn yóò wọ Sioni wá pẹ̀lú orin; ayọ̀ ayérayé ni yóò dé wọn ní orí. Ìdùnnú àti ayọ̀ ni yóò borí i wọn, ìkorò àti ìtìjú yóò sì sá kúrò lọ́dọ̀ wọn.
And the redeemed of the Lord will be converted, and they will return to Zion with praising. And everlasting joy will be upon their heads. They will obtain gladness and rejoicing. For pain and sorrow will flee away.
