< Isaiah 34 >

1 Súnmọ́ tòsí, ẹ̀yin orílẹ̀-èdè láti gbọ́, tẹ́tí sílẹ̀ ẹ̀yin ènìyàn jẹ́ kí ayé gbọ́, àti ẹ̀kún rẹ̀, ayé àti ohun gbogbo tí ó ti inú rẹ̀ jáde.
Come near ye nations to hear, And, ye races, attend, —Let the earth hear, and the fulness thereof, The world and all things produced therefrom:
2 Nítorí ìbínú Olúwa ń bẹ lára gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè, àti ìrunú rẹ̀ lórí gbogbo ogun wọn: o ti fi wọ́n fún pípa.
That Yahweh hath wrath against all the nations, and indignation against all their host, —He hath devoted them to destruction He hath delivered them to slaughter;
3 Àwọn ti a pa nínú wọn ni a ó sì jù sóde, òórùn wọn yóò ti inú òkú wọn jáde, àwọn òkè ńlá yóò sì yọ̀ nínú ẹ̀jẹ̀ wọn.
And their slain shall be cast out, And their carcases, the stench of them shall ascend, —And, the mountains, shall melt away with their blood.
4 Gbogbo àwọn ogun ọ̀run ni yóò di yíyọ́, a ó sì ká àwọn ọ̀run jọ bí i tákàdá, gbogbo ogun wọn yóò si ṣubú lulẹ̀, bí ewé ti n bọ́ kúrò lára àjàrà, àti bí i bíbọ́ èso lára igi ọ̀pọ̀tọ́.
Then shall be dissolved all the host of the heavens, And the heavens shall roll up as a scroll, —Yea, all their host, shall fade—Like the fading and falling of a leaf from a vine, and Like what fadeth and falleth from a fig-tree.
5 Nítorí ti a rẹ idà mi ní ọ̀run, kíyèsi í, yóò sọ̀kalẹ̀ wá sórí Edomu, sórí àwọn ènìyàn tí mo ti parun fún ìdájọ́.
For my sword hath been sated in the heavens, —Lo! upon Edom, shall it descend, Even on the people whom I have devoted to justice.
6 Idà Olúwa kún fún ẹ̀jẹ̀ a mú un sanra fún ọ̀rá, àti fún ẹ̀jẹ̀ ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn àti ewúrẹ́, fún ọ̀rá ìwé àgbò— nítorí Olúwa ni ìrúbọ kan ní Bosra, àti ìpakúpa ńlá kan ní ilẹ̀ Edomu.
A sword, hath Yahweh—Glutted with blood Sated with fat, —With the blood of well-fed lambs and he-goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams, —For, a sacrifice, hath Yahweh in Bozrah, Yea a great slaughter in the land of Edom;
7 Àti àwọn àgbáǹréré yóò ba wọn sọ̀kalẹ̀ wá, àti àwọn ẹgbọrọ màlúù pẹ̀lú àwọn akọ màlúù, ilé wọn ni a ó fi ẹ̀jẹ̀ rin, a ó sì fi ọ̀rá sọ ekuru wọn di ọlọ́ràá.
Then shall buffaloes come down with them, And bullocks with bulls, —So shall their land be soaked with blood, And, their dust, with fat, shall be enriched.
8 Nítorí ọjọ́ ẹ̀san Olúwa ni, àti ọdún ìsanpadà, nítorí ọ̀ràn Sioni.
For a day of avenging, hath Yahweh, —A year of requitals for the quarrel of Zion.
9 Odò rẹ̀ ni a ó sì sọ di ọ̀dà, àti eruku rẹ̀ di imí-ọjọ́, ilẹ̀ rẹ̀ yóò sì di ọ̀dà tí ń jóná.
Then shall the torrents thereof be turned into pitch, And the dust thereof, into brimstone, —So shall her land become burning pitch:
10 A kì yóò pa á ní òru tàbí ní ọ̀sán; èéfín rẹ̀ yóò gòkè láéláé: yóò dahoro láti ìran dé ìran, kò sí ẹnìkan tí yóò là á kọjá láé àti láéláé.
Neither night nor day, shall it be quenched, To times age-abiding, shall ascend the smoke thereof, —From generation to generation, shall it be waste, Never, never, shall any pass through it:
11 Òwìwí aginjù, àti àkàlà ni yóò ni ín, àti òwìwí àti ẹyẹ ìwò ni yóò máa gbé inú rẹ̀. Ọlọ́run yóò sì na sórí Edomu okùn ìwọ̀n ìparun àti òkúta òfo.
That the vomiting pelican and the bittern may possess it: And the great owl and the raven, dwell therein; Then will he stretch out over it The line of desolation, and The plummet of emptiness.
12 Ní ti àwọn ìjòyè rẹ̀ ẹnìkan kì yóò sí níbẹ̀ tiwọn ó pè wá sí ìjọba, gbogbo àwọn olórí i rẹ̀ yóò sì di asán.
Her nobles (but none, are, there)! unto royalty, will call, —All, all her princes, shall become nought.
13 Ẹ̀gún yóò sì hù jáde nínú àwọn ààfin rẹ̀ wọ̀nyí, ẹ̀gún ọ̀gán nínú ìlú olódi rẹ̀. Yóò jẹ́ ibùgbé àwọn akátá àti àgbàlá fún àwọn òwìwí.
Then shall come up, in her palaces thorns Nettles and thistles in her fortresses, —And she shall become A home for wild dogs, An enclosure for ostriches;
14 Àwọn ẹranko ijù àti àwọn ìkookò ni yóò pàdé, àti ewúrẹ́ igbó kan yóò máa kọ sí èkejì rẹ̀, iwin yóò máa gbé ibẹ̀ pẹ̀lú, yóò sì rí ibi ìsinmi fún ara rẹ̀.
Then shall criers meet with howlers, And, the shaggy creature, unto his fellow, shall call, —Only, there, shall, the night-spectre, Make her settlement, And find for herself a place of rest:
15 Òwìwí yóò tẹ́ ìtẹ́ rẹ̀ síbẹ̀, yóò yé, yóò sì pa, yóò sì kójọ lábẹ́ òjìji rẹ̀: àwọn gúnnugún yóò péjọ síbẹ̀ pẹ̀lú, olúkúlùkù pẹ̀lú ẹnìkejì rẹ̀.
There, shall, the arrow-snake, Make her nest and lay, And hatch and gather under her shadow, —Only, there, shall be gathered the falcons, every one with her mate.
16 Ẹ wo ìwé Olúwa, kí ẹ sì kà. Ọ̀kan nínú ìwọ̀nyí kì yóò yẹ̀, kò sí ọ̀kan tí yóò fẹ́ èkejì rẹ̀ kù: nítorí Olúwa ti pàṣẹ ẹnu rẹ̀ ló sì fi kó wọn jọ Ẹ̀mí rẹ̀ ló sì fi tò wọ́n jọ.
Seek ye out of the scroll of Yahweh, and read, Not, one from among them, is lacking, None, hath missed, her mate, —For, a mouth, hath, itself commanded, And, his spirit, hath itself gathered them:
17 Ó ti di ìbò fún wọn, ọwọ́ rẹ̀ sì ti pín in fún wọn nípa títa okùn, wọn ó jogún rẹ̀ láéláé, láti ìran dé ìran ni wọn ó máa gbé inú rẹ̀.
Yea he himself, hath cast for them a lot, And his own hand, hath given to them a portion by line, —Unto times age-abiding, shall they possess it, To generation after generation, shall they dwell therein.
