Isaiah 24
1 Kíyèsi i, Olúwa yóò sọ ohun gbogbo dòfo ní ilẹ̀ ayé yóò sì pa á run òun yóò pa ojú u rẹ̀ rẹ́ yóò sì fọ́n àwọn olùgbé ibẹ̀ káàkiri—
Here! Yahweh [is] about to lay waste the earth and [is] about to devastate it and he will twist surface its and he will scatter inhabitants its.
2 bákan náà ni yóò sì rí fún àlùfáà àti àwọn ènìyàn, fún ọ̀gá àti ọmọ ọ̀dọ̀, fún ìyá-ilé àti ọmọbìnrin, fún olùtà àti olùrà, fún ayáni àti atọrọ fún ayánilówó àti onígbèsè.
And it will be as the people as the priest as the servant as master his as the maidservant as mistress her as the buyer as the seller as the lender as the borrower as the creditor as [the one] who a creditor [is] in him.
3 Ilé ayé ni a ó sọ di ahoro pátápátá a ó sì jẹ gbogbo rẹ̀ run. Olúwa ni ó ti sọ ọ̀rọ̀ yìí.
Certainly - it will be laid waste the earth and certainly - it will be plundered for Yahweh he has spoken the word this.
4 Ilẹ̀ ayé ti gbẹ ó sì sá, ayé ń ṣòjòjò, àárẹ̀ mú un, àwọn ẹni gíga ilẹ̀ ayé wà nínú ìpọ́njú
It has dried up it has withered the earth it has languished it has withered [the] world they have languished [the] noble[s] of [the] people of the earth.
5 àwọn ènìyàn ayé ti bà á jẹ́; wọ́n ti pa àwọn òfin run wọ́n ṣe lòdì sí àwọn ìlànà wọ́n sì ti ba májẹ̀mú ayérayé jẹ́.
And the earth it has been polluted under inhabitants its for they have transgressed laws they have overstepped [the] decree they have broken [the] covenant of perpetuity.
6 Nítorí náà, ègún kan ti jẹ ayé run; àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ ní láti ru ẹ̀bi wọn. Nítorí náà, àwọn olùgbé ayé ti gbiná dànù, àwọn ẹ̀tàhóró ló sì kù.
There-fore a curse it has consumed [the] earth and they have been held guilty [the] inhabitants in it there-fore they have diminished [the] inhabitants of [the] earth and it will be left humankind of smallness.
7 Wáìnì tuntun ti gbẹ, àjàrà sì ti rọ, gbogbo àwọn aláríyá sì kérora.
It has dried up new wine it has languished [the] vine they have groaned all [the people] joyful of heart.
8 Àríyá ti ṣaworo ti dákẹ́ ariwo àwọn tí ń ṣàjọyọ̀ ti dáwọ́ dúró ayọ̀ dùùrù ti dákẹ́ jẹ́ẹ́.
It has ceased [the] gaiety of tambourines it has stopped [the] uproar of jubilant [people] it has ceased [the] gaiety of [the] harp.
9 Kò ṣe é ṣe fún wọn láti máa mu wáìnì pẹ̀lú orin kíkọ mọ́ ọtí líle ti di ìkorò fún àwọn ọ̀mu.
With song not people will drink wine it will be bitter strong drink to [those who] drink it.
10 Ìlú tí a run ti dahoro, ẹnu-ọ̀nà àbáwọlé kọ̀ọ̀kan ni a dí pa.
It has been broken [the] town of formlessness it has been shut up every house from entering.
11 Ní òpópónà ni wọ́n ti ń kígbe fún wáìnì gbogbo ayọ̀ ọ wọn ti di ìbànújẹ́, gbogbo àríyá ni a lé kúrò lórí ilẹ̀ ayé.
An outcry on wine [will be] in the streets it has become evening all gladness it has departed [the] gaiety of the earth.
12 Ìlú ni a ti fi sílẹ̀ ní ahoro, ìlẹ̀kùn rẹ̀ ni a sì tì pa bámú bámú.
It has remained in the city desolation and ruin it will be crushed [the] gate.
13 Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni yóò sì rí ní orí ilẹ̀ ayé àti láàrín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè pẹ̀lú, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìgbà tí a lu igi olifi, tàbí gẹ́gẹ́ bí i pàǹtí tí ó ṣẹ́kù lẹ́yìn tí a kórè èso tán.
For thus it will be in [the] midst of the earth in among the peoples like [the] beating of an olive tree like gleanings if it has come to an end [the] grape harvest.
14 Wọ́n gbé ohùn wọn sókè, wọ́n sì hó fún ayọ̀; láti ìwọ̀-oòrùn ni wọn yóò ti polongo ọláńlá Olúwa.
They they will lift up voice their they will shout for joy in [the] majesty of Yahweh they will cry aloud from [the] west.
15 Nítorí náà ní ìlà-oòrùn ẹ fi ògo fún Olúwa; gbé orúkọ Olúwa ga, àní Ọlọ́run Israẹli, ní àwọn erékùṣù ti inú Òkun.
There-fore in the east glorify Yahweh in [the] islands of the sea [the] name of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.
16 Láti òpin ayé wá ni a ti gbọ́ orin; “Ògo ni fún olódodo n nì.” Ṣùgbọ́n mo wí pé, “Mo ṣègbé, mo ṣègbé! “Ègbé ni fún mi! Alárékérekè dalẹ̀! Pẹ̀lú ìhàlẹ̀ ni àgàbàgebè fi dalẹ̀!”
From [the] extremity of the earth songs we have heard splendor [belongs] to the righteous [one] and I said leanness [belongs] to me leanness [belongs] to me woe! to me [those who] act treacherously they act treacherously and treachery [those who] act treacherously they act treacherously.
17 Ìpayà, isà òkú, àti ìdẹ̀kùn ń dúró dè ọ́, ìwọ ènìyàn ilẹ̀ ayé.
Dread and pit and snare [are] on you O inhabitant of the earth.
18 Ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó bá sá nítorí ariwo ìpayà yóò ṣubú sínú ihò, ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó bá sì yọ́ jáde nínú ihò ni ìdẹ̀kùn yóò gbámú. Ibodè ọ̀run ti wà ní ṣíṣí sílẹ̀, ìpìlẹ̀ ayé mì tìtì.
And it will be the [one who] flees from [the] sound of the dread he will fall into the pit and the [one who] goes up from [the] midst of the pit he will be caught in snare for windows from a high place they have been opened and they have shaken [the] foundations of [the] earth.
19 Ilẹ̀ ayé ti fọ́ ilẹ̀ ayé ti fọ́ dànù, a ti mi ilẹ̀ ayé rìrìrìrì.
Utterly it has been broken the earth utterly it has been split through [the] earth certainly it has been shaken [the] earth.
20 Ilẹ̀ ayé yí gbiri bí ọ̀mùtí, ó bì síwá sẹ́yìn bí ahéré nínú afẹ́fẹ́; ẹ̀bi ìṣọ̀tẹ̀ rẹ̀ ń pa á lẹ́rù tó bẹ́ẹ̀ tí ó fi ṣubú láìní lè dìde mọ́.
Wildly it will stagger [the] earth like drunkard and it will sway like hut and it will be heavy on it transgression its and it will fall and not it will repeat to rise.
21 Ní ọjọ́ náà ni Olúwa yóò jẹ ẹ́ ní yà gbogbo agbára tí ó wà lókè lọ́run àti àwọn ọba tí ó wà lórí ilẹ̀ ayé.
And it will be in the day that he will visit [judgment] Yahweh on [the] host of the height in the height[s] and on [the] kings of the earth on the earth.
22 A ó sì kó wọn jọ pọ̀, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ará túbú jọ sínú ihò, a ó tì wọ́n mọ́ inú túbú, a ó sì bẹ̀ wọ́n wò lẹ́yìn ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ọjọ́.
And they will be gathered a gathering prisoner[s] to a pit and they will be shut up at a prison and from an abundance of days they will be visited.
23 A ó rẹ òṣùpá sílẹ̀, ojú yóò sì ti oòrùn; nítorí Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun yóò jẹ ọba ní orí òkè Sioni àti ní Jerusalẹmu, àti níwájú àwọn àgbàgbà rẹ ní ògo.
And it will be abashed the moon and it will be ashamed the sun for he will reign Yahweh of hosts on [the] mountain of Zion and in Jerusalem and before elders his glory.
