Isaiah 11
1 Èèkàn kan yóò sọ láti ibi kùkùté Jese, láti ara gbòǹgbò rẹ̀ ni ẹ̀ka kan yóò ti so èso.
And it will go forth a shoot from [the] rootstock of Jesse and a branch from roots his it will bear fruit.
2 Ẹ̀mí Olúwa yóò sì bà lé e, ẹ̀mí ọgbọ́n àti ti òye, ẹ̀mí ìmọ̀ràn àti ti agbára, ẹ̀mí ìmọ̀ àti ti ìbẹ̀rù Olúwa.
And it will rest on him [the] spirit of Yahweh a spirit of wisdom and understanding a spirit of counsel and strength a spirit of knowledge and [the] fear of Yahweh.
3 Òun yóò sì ní inú dídùn nínú ìbẹ̀rù Olúwa. Òun kì yóò ṣe ìdájọ́ pẹ̀lú ohun tí ó fi ojú u rẹ̀ rí, tàbí pẹ̀lú ohun tí ó fi etí i rẹ̀ gbọ́,
And delighting he [will be] in [the] fear of Yahweh and not to [the] sight of eyes his he will judge and not to [the] hearing of ears his he will decide.
4 ṣùgbọ́n pẹ̀lú òdodo ni yóò ṣe ìdájọ́ àwọn aláìní, pẹ̀lú òtítọ́ ni yóò ṣe ìpinnu fún àwọn aláìní ayé. Òun yóò lu ayé pẹ̀lú ọ̀pá tí ó wà ní ẹnu rẹ̀, pẹ̀lú èémí ẹnu rẹ̀ ni yóò pa àwọn ìkà.
And he will judge with righteousness poor [people] and he will decide with uprightness for [the] humble [people] of [the] earth and he will strike [the] earth with [the] rod of mouth his and with [the] breath of lips his he will put to death [the] wicked.
5 Òdodo ni yóò jẹ́ ìgbànú rẹ̀ àti òtítọ́ ni yóò ṣe ọ̀já yí ẹ̀gbẹ́ rẹ̀ ká.
And it will be righteousness [the] waistband of hips his and faithfulness [the] waistband of loins his.
6 Ìkookò yóò sì máa bá ọmọ àgùntàn gbé, ẹkùn yóò sì sùn ti ewúrẹ́ ọmọ màlúù òun ọmọ kìnnìún àti ọmọ ẹran ó wà papọ̀ ọ̀dọ́mọdé yóò sì máa dà wọ́n.
And it will sojourn wolf with lamb and leopard with kid it will lie down and calf and young lion and fatling together and a child small [will be] leading them.
7 Màlúù àti beari yóò máa jẹun pọ̀, àwọn ọmọ wọn yóò dùbúlẹ̀ pọ̀, kìnnìún yóò sì máa jẹ koríko gẹ́gẹ́ bí akọ màlúù.
And cow and bear they will graze together they will lie down young their and [the] lion like the ox it will eat straw.
8 Ọ̀dọ́mọdé yóò ṣeré lẹ́bàá ihò ọká, ọmọdé yóò ki ọwọ́ rẹ̀ bọ ìtẹ́ paramọ́lẹ̀.
And he will play a suckling-child over [the] hole of a cobra and over [the] nest of a viper a weaned [child] hand his he will put out.
9 Wọn kò ní ṣe ni léṣe tàbí pa ni run ní gbogbo òkè mímọ́ mi, nítorí gbogbo ayé yóò kún fún ìmọ̀ Olúwa gẹ́gẹ́ bí omi ti bo Òkun.
Not they will do harm and not they will destroy in all [the] mountain of holiness my for it will be full the earth knowledge Yahweh like the waters the sea [which] cover.
10 Ní ọjọ́ náà, gbòǹgbò Jese yóò dúró gẹ́gẹ́ bí àsíá fún gbogbo ènìyàn, àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè yóò pagbo yí i ká, ibùdó ìsinmi rẹ̀ yóò jẹ́ èyí tí ó lógo.
And it will be in the day that [the] root of Jesse who [will be] standing for a standard of peoples him nations they will seek and it will be resting place his glory.
11 Ní ọjọ́ náà, Olúwa yóò na ọwọ́ rẹ̀ jáde nígbà kejì láti tún gba àwọn tí ó ṣẹ́kù àní àwọn tí a ṣẹ́kù nínú àwọn ènìyàn an rẹ̀ láti Asiria wá, láti ìsàlẹ̀ Ejibiti àti òkè Ejibiti, láti Kuṣi, láti Elamu láti Babiloni, láti Hamati àti láti àwọn erékùṣù inú Òkun.
And it will be - in the day that he will repeat [the] Lord - a second [time] hand his to acquire [the] remnant of people his which it will remain from Assyria and from Egypt and from Pathros and from Cush and from Elam and from Shinar and from Hamath and from [the] islands of the sea.
12 Òun yóò gbé àsíá sókè fún àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, yóò sì kó àwọn ìgbèkùn Israẹli jọ, yóò kó gbogbo àwọn ènìyàn Juda tí a ti fọ́n káàkiri jọ, láti igun mẹ́rẹ̀ẹ̀rin ilẹ̀ ayé.
And he will lift up a standard for the nations and he will gather [the] banished [men] of Israel and [the] scattered [women] of Judah he will assemble from [the] four [the] corners of the earth.
13 Owú jíjẹ Efraimu yóò pòórá, àwọn ọ̀tá Juda ni a ó ké kúrò, Efraimu kò ní jowú Juda, tàbí Juda kó dojúkọ Efraimu.
And it will come to an end [the] jealousy of Ephraim and [the] opposing of Judah they will be cut off Ephraim not it will be jealous of Judah and Judah not it will be opposed to Ephraim.
14 Wọn yóò fò mọ́ èjìká Filistini sí apá ìwọ̀-oòrùn, wọn yóò pawọ́pọ̀ kọlu àwọn ènìyàn apá ìlà-oòrùn. Wọn yóò gbé ọwọ́ wọn lé Edomu àti Moabu, àwọn ará Ammoni yóò sì di ìwẹ̀fà wọn.
And they will fly on [the] shoulder [the] Philistines west-ward together they will plunder [the] people of [the] east Edom and Moab [will be] [the] stretching out of hand their and [the] people of Ammon [will be] subjects their.
15 Olúwa yóò sọ di gbígbé àyasí Òkun Ejibiti, pẹ̀lú atẹ́gùn gbígbóná ni yóò na ọwọ́ rẹ̀, kọjá lórí odò Eufurate. Òun yóò sì sọ ọ́ di ọmọdò méje tó fi jẹ́ pé àwọn ènìyàn yóò máa là á kọjá pẹ̀lú bàtà.
And he will divide Yahweh [the] tongue of [the] sea of Egypt and he will brandish hand his over the River with [the] heat of wind his and he will strike it into seven wadis and he will make walk in sandals.
16 Ọ̀nà gidi yóò wà fún àwọn ènìyàn an rẹ̀ tí ó ṣẹ́kù tí ó kù sílẹ̀ ní Asiria, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ó ti wà fún Israẹli nígbà tí wọ́n gòkè láti Ejibiti wá.
And it will belong a highway to [the] remnant of people his which it will remain from Assyria just as it belonged to Israel on [the] day went up it from [the] land of Egypt.
