< Habakkuk 3 >

1 Àdúrà wòlíì Habakuku gẹ́gẹ́ bí sígónótì. Ohun èlò orin.
A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth.
2 Olúwa mo tí gbọ́ ohùn rẹ; ẹ̀rù sì ba mi fún iṣẹ́ rẹ Olúwa sọ wọn di ọ̀tún ní ọjọ́ ti wa, ní àkókò tiwa, jẹ́ kó di mí mọ̀; ni ìbínú, rántí àánú.
O LORD, I have heard thy speech, [and] was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.
3 Ọlọ́run yóò wa láti Temani, ibi mímọ́ jùlọ láti òkè Parani ògo rẹ̀ sí bo àwọn ọ̀run, ilé ayé sì kún fún ìyìn rẹ.
God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. (Selah) His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.
4 Dídán rẹ sí dàbí ìmọ́lẹ̀ oòrùn ìtànṣán ìmọ́lẹ̀ jáde wa láti ọwọ́ rẹ, níbi tí wọn fi agbára rẹ̀ pamọ́ sí.
And [his] brightness was as the light; he had horns [coming] out of his hand; and there [was] the hiding of his power.
5 Àjàkálẹ̀-ààrùn ń lọ ni iwájú rẹ; ìyọnu sí ń tọ ẹsẹ̀ rẹ lọ.
Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.
6 Ó dúró, ó sì mi ayé; ó wò, ó sì mú àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè wárìrì a sì tú àwọn òkè ńlá ayérayé ká, àwọn òkè kéékèèké ayérayé sì tẹríba: ọ̀nà rẹ ayérayé ni.
He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways [are] everlasting.
7 Mo rí àgọ́ Kuṣani nínú ìpọ́njú àti àwọn ibùgbé Midiani nínú ìrora.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: [and] the curtains of the land of Midian trembled.
8 Ǹjẹ́ ìwọ ha ń bínú sí àwọn odò nì, Olúwa? Ǹjẹ́ ìbínú rẹ wa lórí àwọn odò ṣíṣàn bí? Ìbínú rẹ ha wá sórí Òkun tí ìwọ fi ń gun ẹṣin, àti kẹ̀kẹ́ ìgbàlà rẹ?
Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? [was] thy anger against the rivers? [was] thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thy horses, [and] thy chariots of salvation?
9 A ṣí ọrun rẹ sílẹ̀ pátápátá, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìbúra àwọn ẹ̀yà, àní ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ, ìwọ sì fi odò pín ilẹ̀ ayé.
Thy bow was made quite naked, [according] to the oaths of the tribes, [even thy] word. (Selah) Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
10 Àwọn òkè ńlá ri ọ wọn sì wárìrì àgbàrá òjò ń sàn án kọjá lọ; ibú ń ké ramúramù ó sì gbé irú omi sókè.
The mountains saw thee, [and] they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, [and] lifted up his hands on high.
11 Òòrùn àti Òṣùpá dúró jẹ́ẹ́jẹ́ ni ibùgbé wọn, pẹ̀lú ìmọ́lẹ̀ ọfà rẹ ni wọn yára lọ, àti ni dídán ọ̀kọ̀ rẹ ti ń kọ mànà.
The sun [and] moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thy arrows they went, [and] at the shining of thy glittering spear.
12 Ní ìrunú ni ìwọ rin ilẹ̀ náà já, ní ìbínú ni ìwọ tí tẹ́ àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè rẹ.
Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.
13 Ìwọ jáde lọ láti tú àwọn ènìyàn rẹ sílẹ̀, àti láti gba ẹni àmì òróró rẹ là, Ìwọ ti run àwọn olórí kúrò nínú ilẹ̀ àwọn ènìyàn búburú, ó sì bọ ìhámọ́ra rẹ láti orí de ẹsẹ̀.
Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, [even] for salvation with thy anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by uncovering the foundation to the neck. (Selah)
14 Pẹ̀lú ọ̀kọ̀ rẹ̀ kí ó fi gún orí rẹ nígbà tí àwọn jagunjagun rẹ̀ jáde láti tú wá ká, ayọ̀ wọn sì ni láti jẹ tálákà run ní ìkọ̀kọ̀.
Thou didst strike through with his staffs the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing [was] as to devour the poor secretly.
15 Ìwọ fi ẹṣin rẹ rìn Òkun já, ó sì da àwọn omi ńlá ru.
Thou didst walk through the sea with thy horses, [through] the mire of great waters.
16 Mo gbọ́, ọkàn mi sì wárìrì, ètè mi sì gbọ̀n sí ìró náà; ìbàjẹ́ sì wọ inú egungun mi lọ, ẹsẹ̀ mi sì wárìrì, mo dúró ni ìdákẹ́ jẹ́ẹ́ fún ọjọ́ ìdààmú láti de sórí àwọn ènìyàn tó ń dojúkọ wá.
When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up to the people, he will invade them with his troops.
17 Bí igi ọ̀pọ̀tọ́ ko tilẹ̀ tanná, tí èso kò sí nínú àjàrà; tí igi olifi ko le so, àwọn oko ko sì mú oúnjẹ wá; tí a sì ké agbo ẹran kúrò nínú agbo, tí kò sì sí ọwọ́ ẹran ni ibùso mọ́,
Although the fig-tree shall not blossom, neither [shall] fruit [be] in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no food; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and [there shall be] no herd in the stalls:
18 síbẹ̀, èmi ó láyọ̀ nínú Olúwa, èmi yóò sí máa yọ nínú Ọlọ́run ìgbàlà mi.
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 Olúwa Olódùmarè ni agbára mi, òun yóò sí ṣe ẹsẹ̀ mi bí ẹsẹ̀ abo àgbọ̀nrín, yóò sí mú mi rìn lórí ibi gíga. Sí olórí akọrin lórí ohun èlò orin olókùn mi.
The Lord GOD [is] my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' [feet], and he will make me to walk upon my high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
