< Genesis 21 >
1 Olúwa sì bẹ Sara wò bí ó ti wí, Olúwa sì ṣe fún Sara gẹ́gẹ́ bí ó ti ṣèlérí.
Forsothe God visitide Sare, as he bihiyte, and fillide tho thingis, that he spak.
2 Sara sì lóyún, ó sì bí ọmọkùnrin kan fún Abrahamu ní ọjọ́ ogbó rẹ̀, ní àkókò náà gan an tí Ọlọ́run ti ṣèlérí fún un.
And sche conseyuede, and childide a sone in hir eeld, in the tyme wherynne God biforseide to hir.
3 Abrahamu sì sọ orúkọ ọmọ náà tí Sara bí fun un ní Isaaki.
And Abraham clepide the name of his sone, whom Sare childide to him, Ysaac.
4 Nígbà tí Isaaki pé ọmọ ọjọ́ mẹ́jọ, Abrahamu sì kọ ọ́ ní ilà gẹ́gẹ́ bí Ọlọ́run ti pàṣẹ fún un.
And Abraham circumcidide hym in the eiyte dai, as God comaundide to him,
5 Ẹni ọgọ́rùn-ún ọdún ni Abrahamu nígbà tí ó bí Isaaki.
whanne he was of an hundrid yeer; for Ysaac was borun in this age of the fadir.
6 Sara sì wí pé, “Ọlọ́run ti pa mí lẹ́rìn-ín. Gbogbo ẹni tí ó bá sì gbọ́ pé mo bímọ yóò rẹ́rìn-ín pẹ̀lú mi.”
And Sare seide, The Lord made leiyynge to me, and who euer schal here schal leiye with me.
7 Ó sì fi kún un pé, “Ta ni ó le sọ fún Abrahamu pé, Sara yóò di ọlọ́mọ? Síbẹ̀síbẹ̀, mo sì tún bí ọmọ fún Abrahamu ní ìgbà ogbó rẹ.”
And eft sche seide, Who schulde here, and bileue to Abraham, that Sare schulde yyue soukyng to a sone, whom sche childide to him now an eld man?
8 Nígbà tí ọmọ náà dàgbà, ó sì gbà á lẹ́nu ọmú, ní ọjọ́ tí a gba Isaaki lẹ́nu ọmú, Abrahamu ṣe àsè ńlá.
Therfor the child encreesside, and was wenyd; and Abraham made a greet feeste in the dai of his wenyng.
9 Ṣùgbọ́n Sara rí ọmọ Hagari ará Ejibiti tí ó bí fún Abrahamu tí ó fi ṣe ẹlẹ́yà,
And whanne Sare seiy the sone of Agar Egipcian pleiynge with Ysaac hir sone, sche seide to Abraham,
10 ó sì wí fún Abrahamu pé, “Lé ẹrúbìnrin yìí àti ọmọ rẹ̀ jáde, nítorí ọmọ ẹrú yìí kò ní bá ọmọ mi Isaaki pín ogún.”
Cast thou out the handmayde and hir sone; for the sone of the handmayde schal not be eir with my sone Ysaac.
11 Ọ̀rọ̀ náà sì ba Abrahamu lọ́kàn jẹ́ gidigidi nítorí ọmọ rẹ̀ náà sá à ni Iṣmaeli i ṣe.
Abraham took this heuyli for his sone;
12 Ṣùgbọ́n Ọlọ́run wí fun Abrahamu pé, “Má ṣe ba ọkàn jẹ́ nítorí ọmọ náà àti ẹrúbìnrin rẹ. Gbọ́ ohun tí Sara wí fún ọ, nítorí nínú Isaaki ni a ó ti pe irú-ọmọ rẹ̀.
and God seide to hym, Be it not seyn scharp to thee on the child, and on thin handmayde; alle thingis whiche Sare seith to thee, here thou hir vois, for in Isaac seed schal be clepid to thee;
13 Èmi yóò sọ ọmọ ẹrúbìnrin náà di orílẹ̀-èdè pẹ̀lú, nítorí ọmọ rẹ ni.”
but also I schal make the sone of the handmaid in to a greet folk, for he is thi seed.
14 Abrahamu sì dìde ní kùtùkùtù òwúrọ̀ ọjọ́ kejì, ó sì mú oúnjẹ àti ìgò omi kan, ó sì kó wọn fún Hagari, ó kó wọn lé e léjìká, ó sì lé e jáde pẹ̀lú ọmọ náà. Ó sì lọ lọ́nà rẹ, ó sì ń ṣe alárìnkiri ní ijù Beerṣeba.
And so Abraham roos eerli, and took breed, and a botel of watir, and puttide on hir schuldre, and bitook the child, and lefte hir; and whanne sche hadde go, sche yede out of the weie in the wildirnesse of Bersabee.
15 Nígbà tí omi inú ìgò náà tan, ó gbé ọmọ náà sí abẹ́ igbó.
And whanne the watir in the botel was endid, sche castide awei the child vndur a tre that was there;
16 Ó sì lọ, ó sì jókòó nítòsí ibẹ̀, níwọ̀n bí ìtafà kan, nítorí, ó rò ó nínú ara rẹ̀ pé, “Èmi kò fẹ́ wo bí ọmọ náà yóò ṣe kú.” Bí ó sì ti jókòó sí tòsí ibẹ̀, ó bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí ní sọkún.
and sche yede awei, and sche sat euene ayens as fer as a bowe may caste; for sche seide, Y schal not se the child diynge; and sche sat ayens, and reiside hir vois, and wepte.
17 Ọlọ́run gbọ́ ohun ẹkún náà, Angẹli Ọlọ́run sì pe Hagari láti ọ̀run, ó sì wí fun un pé, “Hagari, kín ni ó ṣe ọ́? Má bẹ̀rù nítorí Ọlọ́run ti gbọ́ ẹkún ọmọ náà níbi tí o tẹ́ ẹ sí.
Forsothe the Lord herde the vois of the child, and the aungel of the Lord clepide Agar fro heuene, and seide, What doist thou, Agar? nyle thou drede, for God hath herd the vois of the child fro the place where ynne he is.
18 Dìde, gbé ọmọ náà sókè, kí o sì dìímú (tù ú nínú) nítorí èmi yóò sọ ọmọ náà di orílẹ̀-èdè ńlá.”
Rise thou, and take the child, and holde his hoond; for Y schal make hym in to a greet folc.
19 Ọlọ́run sì ṣí ojú Hagari, ó sì rí kànga kan, ó lọ síbẹ̀, ó rọ omi kún inú ìgò náà, ó sì fún ọmọ náà mu.
And God openyde hir iyen, and sche seiy a pit of watir, and sche yede, and fillide the botel, and sche yaf drynk to the child;
20 Ọlọ́run sì wà pẹ̀lú ọmọ náà bí ó ti ń dàgbà, ó ń gbé nínú ijù, ó sì di tafàtafà.
and was with him, and he encresside, and dwellide in wildernesse, and he was maad a yong man an archer,
21 Nígbà tí ó ń gbé ni aginjù ní Parani, ìyá rẹ̀ fẹ́ ìyàwó fún un láti ilẹ̀ Ejibiti wá.
and dwellide in the deseert of Faran; and his modir took to him a wijf of the lond of Egipt.
22 Ní àkókò yìí ni ọba Abimeleki àti Fikoli, olórí ogun rẹ̀ wí fún Abrahamu pé, “Ọlọ́run wà pẹ̀lú rẹ̀ nínú gbogbo ohun tí ó ń ṣe.
In the same tyme Abymelech, and Ficol, prince of his oost, seide to Abraham, God is with thee in alle thingis whiche thou doist;
23 Ǹjẹ́ nísinsin yìí, fi Ọlọ́run búra fún mi, ìwọ kì yóò tàn mí àti àwọn ọmọ mi àti àwọn ìran mi, ìwọ yóò fi inú rere hàn fún mi àti orílẹ̀-èdè tí ìwọ ti ṣe àtìpó, bí mo ti fihàn fún ọ pẹ̀lú.”
therfore swere thou bi God that thou noye not me, and myn eiris, and my kynrede; but bi the mersi whych Y dide to thee, do thou to me, and to the lond in which thou lyuedist a comelyng.
24 Abrahamu sì wí pé, “Èmí búra.”
And Abraham seide, Y schal swere.
25 Nígbà náà ni Abrahamu fi ẹ̀dùn ọkàn rẹ̀ hàn fún Abimeleki nípa kànga tí àwọn ọmọ ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ̀ gbà lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀.
And he blamyde Abymelech for the pit of watir, which hise seruauntis token awey bi violence.
26 Ṣùgbọ́n Abimeleki dáhùn pé, “Èmi kò mọ ẹni tí ó ṣe nǹkan yìí. Ìwọ kò sì sọ fún mi, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni èmi kò gbọ́, bí kò ṣe lónìí.”
And Abymelech answerde, I wiste not who dide this thing, but also thou schewidist not to me, and Y herde not outakun to dai.
27 Abrahamu sì mú àgùntàn àti màlúù wá, ó sì kó wọn fún Abimeleki. Àwọn méjèèjì sì dá májẹ̀mú.
And so Abraham took scheep and oxun, and yaf to Abymalech, and bothe smyten a boond of pees.
28 Abrahamu sì ya abo ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn méje nínú agbo àgùntàn rẹ̀ sọ́tọ̀.
And Abraham settide seuene ewe lambren of the flok asidis half.
29 Abimeleki sì béèrè lọ́wọ́ Abrahamu pé, “Kín ni ìtumọ̀ yíyà tí ìwọ ya àwọn ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn méje wọ̀nyí sọ́tọ̀ sí.”
And Abymelech seide to hym, What wolen these seuene ewe lambren to hem silf, whiche thou madist stonde asidis half?
30 Ó dalóhùn pé, “Gba àwọn abo ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn méje wọ̀nyí lọ́wọ́ mi gẹ́gẹ́ bí ẹ̀rí pé èmi ni mo gbẹ́ kànga yìí.”
And he seide, Thou schalt take of myn hond seuene ewe lambren, that tho be in to witnessyng to me, for Y diggide this pit.
31 Nítorí náà ni a ṣe ń pe ibẹ̀ náà ni Beerṣeba nítorí níbẹ̀ ni àwọn méjèèjì gbé búra.
Therfor thilke place was clepid Bersabee, for euere eithir swore there;
32 Lẹ́yìn májẹ̀mú tí wọ́n dá ní Beerṣeba yìí, ni Abimeleki àti Fikoli olórí ogun rẹ̀ padà sí ilẹ̀ àwọn ará Filistini.
and thei maden boond of pees for the pit of an ooth.
33 Abrahamu lọ́ igi tamariski kan sí Beerṣeba, níbẹ̀ ni ó sì pe orúkọ Olúwa Ọlọ́run ayérayé.
Forsothe Abymelech roos, and Ficol, prince of his chyualrie, and thei turneden ayen in to the lond of Palestyns. Sotheli Abraham plauntide a wode in Bersabee, and inwardli clepide there the name of euerlastinge God;
34 Abrahamu sì gbé ilẹ̀ àwọn ará Filistini fún ọjọ́ pípẹ́.
and he was an erthetiliere ether a comelynge of the lond of Palestynes in many dayes.
