I will get a morsel of bread so you can refresh your heart. After that you may go your way, now that you have come to your servant.” They said, “Very well, do as you have said.”
6 Abrahamu sì yára tọ Sara aya rẹ̀ lọ nínú àgọ́, ó wí pé, “Tètè mú òsùwọ̀n ìyẹ̀fun dáradára mẹ́ta kí o sì pò ó pọ̀, kí o sì ṣe oúnjẹ.”
Abraham [Father of a multitude] hurried into the tent to Sarah [Princess], and said, “Quickly prepare three seahs [23.1 qt; 21.9 L] of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes.”
7 Abrahamu sì tún sáré lọ sí ibi agbo ẹran, ó sì mú ọmọ màlúù kan fún ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀, ìránṣẹ́ náà sì tètè ṣè é.

They asked him, “Where is Sarah [Princess], your wife?” He said, “See, in the tent.”

He said, “I will certainly return to you when the season comes round. Behold, Sarah [Princess] your wife will have a son.” Sarah [Princess] sh'ma ·hear obey· in the tent door, which was behind him.
11 Abrahamu àti Sara sì ti di arúgbó, Sara sì ti kọjá àsìkò ìbímọ.
Now Abraham [Father of a multitude] and Sarah [Princess] were old, well advanced in age. Sarah [Princess] had passed the age of childbearing.

Sarah [Princess] laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old will I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”
13 Nígbà náà ni Olúwa wí fún Abrahamu pé, “Kín ló dé tí Sara fi rẹ́rìn-ín tí ó sì wí pé, ‘Èmi yóò ha bímọ nítòótọ́, nígbà tí mo di ẹni ogbó tán?’
Adonai said to Abraham [Father of a multitude], “Why did Sarah [Princess] laugh, saying, ‘Will I really bear a child, yet I am old?’
14 Ǹjẹ́ ohunkóhun wà tí ó ṣòro jù fún Olúwa? Èmi ó padà tọ̀ ọ́ wá ní ìwòyí àmọ́dún, Sara yóò sì bí ọmọkùnrin.”
Is anything too hard for Adonai? At the set time I will return to you, when the season comes round, and Sarah [Princess] will have a son.”
15 Ẹ̀rù sì ba Sara, ó sì sẹ́ pé òun kò rẹ́rìn-ín. Ṣùgbọ́n Olúwa wí fún un pé, “Dájúdájú ìwọ rẹ́rìn-ín.”
Then Sarah [Princess] denied it, saying, “I didn’t laugh,” for she was afraid. He said, “No, but you did laugh.”
16 Nígbà tí àwọn ọkùnrin náà dìde láti máa lọ, wọn kọjú sí ọ̀nà Sodomu, Abrahamu sì sìn wọ́n dé ọ̀nà.
The men rose up from there, and looked toward Sodom [Burning]. Abraham [Father of a multitude] went with them to see them on their way.
17 Nígbà náà ni Olúwa wí pé, “Ǹjẹ́ èmi yóò ha pa ohun tí mo fẹ́ ṣe mọ́ fún Abrahamu bí?
Adonai said, “Will I hide from Abraham [Father of a multitude] what I do,

For I have known him, to the end that he may enjoin his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of Adonai, to do righteousness and right judgement; to the end that Adonai may bring on Abraham [Father of a multitude] that which he has spoken of him.”
20 Olúwa sì wí pé, igbe Sodomu àti Gomorra pọ̀ púpọ̀ àti pé ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ wọn burú jọjọ.
Adonai said, “Because the cry of Sodom [Burning] and Gomorrah [Rebellious people, Tyrants] is great, and because their habitual sin ·missing the mark· is very grievous,
21 “Èmi yóò sọ̀kalẹ̀ síbẹ̀ láti ṣe ìwádìí igbe tí ó dé sí etí ìgbọ́ mi nípa wọn, kí èmi sì mọ òtítọ́ tí ó wà níbẹ̀.”
I will go down now, and see whether their deeds are as bad as the reports which have come to me. If not, I will know.”

Abraham [Father of a multitude] came near, and said, “Will you consume the upright with the wicked?
24 “Bí ó bá ṣe pé ìwọ rí àádọ́ta olódodo nínú ìlú náà, ìwọ yóò ha run ún, ìwọ kì yóò ha dá ìlú náà sí nítorí àwọn àádọ́ta olódodo tí ó wà nínú rẹ̀ náà?
What if there are fifty upright within the city? Will you consume and not spare the place for the fifty upright who are in it?
25 Kò jẹ́ rí bẹ́ẹ̀! Dájúdájú ìwọ kì yóò ṣe ohun tí ó jọ bẹ́ẹ̀, láti pa olódodo pẹ̀lú àwọn ènìyàn rere àti àwọn ènìyàn búburú. Dájúdájú, ìwọ kì yóò ṣe èyí tí ó tọ́ bi?”
Be it far from you to do things like that, to kill the upright with the wicked, so that the upright should be like the wicked. May that be far from you. Should not the Judge of all the earth do right judgement?”
26 Olúwa wí pé, “Bí mo bá rí àádọ́ta olódodo ní ìlú Sodomu, èmi yóò dá ìlú náà sí nítorí tiwọn.”
Adonai said, “If I find in Sodom [Burning] fifty upright within the city, then I will spare the whole place for their sake.”
27 Abrahamu sì tún tẹ̀síwájú pé, “Wò ó nísinsin yìí, níwọ̀n bí èmi ti ní ìgboyà láti bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí sọ̀rọ̀ níwájú Olúwa, èmi ẹni tí í ṣe erùpẹ̀ àti eérú,
Abraham [Father of a multitude] answered, “See now, I have taken it on myself to speak to 'Adonay [Lord], although I am dust and ashes.
28 bí ó bá ṣe pe olódodo márùndínláàádọ́ta ni ó wà nínú ìlú, ìwọ yóò ha pa ìlú náà run nítorí ènìyàn márùn-ún bí?” Olúwa dáhùn pé, “Èmi kì yóò pa ìlú náà run bí mo bá rí olódodo márùndínláàádọ́ta nínú rẹ̀.”
What if there will lack five of the fifty upright? Will you destroy all the city for lack of five?” He said, “I will not destroy it, if I find forty-five there.”
29 Òun sì tún wí lẹ́ẹ̀kan si pé, “Bí ó bá ṣe pé ogójì ni ń kọ́?” Olúwa sì tún wí pé, “Èmi kì yóò pa ìlú náà run bí mo bá rí olódodo ogójì nínú rẹ̀.”
He spoke to him yet again, and said, “What if there are forty found there?” He said, “I will not do it for the forty’s sake.”
30 Abrahamu sì tún bẹ Olúwa pé, “Kí Olúwa má ṣe bínú, ṣùgbọ́n èmi yóò sọ̀rọ̀. Bí ó bá ṣe pé ọgbọ̀n ni a rí níbẹ̀ ń kọ́?” Olúwa dáhùn pé, “Bí mó bá rí ọgbọ̀n, èmi kì yóò pa ìlú run.”
He said, “Oh don’t let 'Adonay [Lord] be angry, and I will speak. What if there are thirty found there?” He said, “I will not do it, if I find thirty there.”
31 Abrahamu wí pé, “Níwọ́n bí mo ti ní ìgboyà láti bá Olúwa sọ̀rọ̀ báyìí, jẹ́ kí n tẹ̀síwájú. Bí o bá ṣe pé olódodo ogún péré ni ó wà nínú ìlú náà ń kọ́?” Olúwa sì dáhùn pé, “Èmi kì yóò pa á run nítorí ogún ènìyàn náà.”
He said, “See now, I have taken it on myself to speak to 'Adonay [Lord]. What if there are twenty found there?” He said, “I will not destroy it for the twenty’s sake.”
32 Abrahamu sì wí pé, “Jọ̀wọ́ má ṣe bínú Olúwa. Jẹ́ kí ń béèrè lẹ́ẹ̀kan si. Bí ó bá ṣe pé ènìyàn mẹ́wàá ni ó jẹ́ olódodo ń kọ́?” Olúwa wí pé, “Nítorí ènìyàn mẹ́wàá náà, èmi kì yóò pa á run.”
He said, “Oh don’t let 'Adonay [Lord] be angry, and I will speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He said, “I will not destroy it for the ten’s sake.”
33 Olúwa sì bá tirẹ̀ lọ, nígbà tí ó bá Abrahamu sọ̀rọ̀ tán, Abrahamu sì padà sílé.
Adonai went his way, as soon as he had finished communing with Abraham [Father of a multitude], and Abraham [Father of a multitude] returned to his place.
