Ezra 6

1 Nígbà náà ni ọba Dariusi pàṣẹ, wọ́n sì wá inú ilé ìfí nǹkan pamọ́ sí ní ilé ìṣúra ní Babeli.

Then Darius king the he made a decree and they searched - in [the] house books the where treasures the [were] deposited there in Babylon.

2 A rí ìwé kíká kan ní Ekbatana ibi kíkó ìwé sí ní ilé olódi agbègbè Media, wọ̀nyí ni ohun tí a kọ sínú rẹ̀. Ìwé ìrántí.

And it was found in Ecbatana in citadel the which [is] in Media province the a scroll one and as follows it was written in midst its memorandum.

3 Ní ọdún kìn-ín-ní ìjọba ọba Kirusi, ọba pa àṣẹ kan nípa tẹmpili Ọlọ́run ní Jerusalẹmu. Jẹ́ kí a tún tẹmpili ibi tí a ti ń rú onírúurú ẹbọ kọ́, kí a fi ìpìlẹ̀ rẹ̀ lélẹ̀ ni gíga àti fífẹ̀ rẹ̀ jẹ́ àádọ́rùn-ún ẹsẹ̀ bàtà,

In year one of Cyrus king the Cyrus king the he made a decree [the] house of God in Jerusalem house the let it be built a place which [they were] sacrificing sacrifices and foundations its [be] retained height its cubits sixty width its cubits sixty.

4 pẹ̀lú ipele òkúta ńlá ńlá mẹ́ta ọ̀tọ̀ọ̀tọ̀ àti ipele pákó kan, kí a san owó rẹ̀ láti inú ilé ìṣúra ọba.

5 Sì jẹ́ kí wúrà àti àwọn ohun èlò fàdákà ti ilé Ọlọ́run, tí Nebukadnessari kó láti ilé Olúwa ní Jerusalẹmu tí ó sì kó lọ sí Babeli, di dídápadà sí ààyè wọn nínú tẹmpili ní Jerusalẹmu; kí a kó wọn sí inú ilé Ọlọ́run.

And also [the] vessels of [the] house of God of gold and silver which Nebuchadnezzar he brought out from temple the which [was] in Jerusalem and he carried to Babylon let them send back and let it go to temple the which [is] in Jerusalem to place its so you may deposit [them] in [the] house of God.

6 Nítorí náà, kí ìwọ, Tatenai baálẹ̀ agbègbè Eufurate àti Ṣetar-bosnai àti àwọn ẹlẹgbẹ́ yín, àwọn ìjòyè ti agbègbè náà kúrò níbẹ̀.

7 Ẹ fi iṣẹ́ ilé Ọlọ́run yìí lọ́rùn sílẹ̀ láì dí i lọ́wọ́. Ẹ jẹ́ kí baálẹ̀ àwọn Júù àti àwọn àgbàgbà Júù tún ilé Ọlọ́run yín kọ́ sí ipò rẹ̀.

Leave! [the] work of [the] house of God this [the] governor of Jews the and [the] elders of Jews the [the] house of God this let them build on place its.

8 Síwájú sí i, mo pàṣẹ ohun tí ẹ gbọdọ̀ ṣe fún àwọn àgbàgbà Júù wọ̀nyí lórí kíkọ́ ilé Ọlọ́run yìí. Gbogbo ìnáwó àwọn ọkùnrin yìí ni kí ẹ san lẹ́kùnrẹ́rẹ́ lára ìṣúra ti ọba, láti ibi àkójọpọ̀ owó ìlú ti agbègbè Eufurate kí iṣẹ́ náà má bà dúró.

And from me it is made a decree to whatever that you will do with [the] elders of Jews the these to build [the] house of God this and from [the] properti of king the which [is] [the] tribute of [the] region beyond river the diligently expense the let it be given to men the these that not to make to cease.

9 Ohunkóhun tí wọ́n bá fẹ́—àwọn ọ̀dọ́ akọ màlúù, àwọn àgbò, ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn fún ẹbọ sísun sí Ọlọ́run ọ̀run, àti jéró, iyọ̀, wáìnì àti òróró, bí àwọn àlùfáà ní Jerusalẹmu ti béèrè ni ẹ gbọdọ̀ fún wọn lójoojúmọ́ láìyẹ̀.

And whatever things needed and young of bulls and rams and lambs - for burnt offerings - to [the] God of heavens the wheat salt - wine and oil according to [the] word of priests the who [are] in Jerusalem it will be given to them day - by day that not negligence.

10 Kí wọn lè rú àwọn ẹbọ tí ó tẹ́ Ọlọ́run ọ̀run lọ́rùn kí wọ́n sì gbàdúrà fún àlàáfíà ọba àti àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀.

That they will be offering soothing offerings to [the] God of heavens the and praying for [the] life of king the and sons his.

11 Síwájú sí i, mo pàṣẹ pé tí ẹnikẹ́ni bá yí àṣẹ yìí padà, kí fa igi àjà ilé rẹ̀ yọ jáde, kí a sì gbe dúró, kí a sì fi òun náà kọ́ sí orí rẹ̀ kí ó wo ilé rẹ̀ palẹ̀ a ó sì sọ ọ́ di ààtàn.

And from me it is made a decree that every person who he will violate command the this let it be pulled away a beam from house his and [he will] be lifted up let him be impaled on it and house his a refuse-heap let it be made on this.

12 Kí Ọlọ́run, tí ó ti jẹ́ kí orúkọ rẹ̀ máa gbé ibẹ̀, kí ó pa gbogbo ọba àti orílẹ̀-èdè rún tí ó bá gbé ọwọ́ sókè láti yí àṣẹ yìí padà tàbí láti wó tẹmpili yìí tí ó wà ní Jerusalẹmu run. Èmi Dariusi n pàṣẹ rẹ̀, jẹ́ kí ó di mímúṣẹ láìyí ohunkóhun padà.

And God who he has caused to dwell name his there may he overthrow every king and people who - he will stretch out hand his to violate to destroy [the] house of God this which [is] in Jerusalem I Darius I make a decree diligently let it be done.

13 Nígbà náà, nítorí àṣẹ tí ọba Dariusi pa, Tatenai, baálẹ̀ ti agbègbè Eufurate, àti Ṣetar-bosnai pẹ̀lú àwọn ẹlẹgbẹ́ wọn pa á mọ́ láìyí ọ̀kan padà.

Then Tattenai [the] governor of [the] region beyond river the Shethar-Bozenai and associates their before that he had sent Darius king the accordingly diligently they did.

14 Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni àwọn àgbàgbà Júù tẹ̀síwájú wọ́n sì ń gbèrú sí i lábẹ́ ìwàásù wòlíì Hagai àti wòlíì Sekariah, ìran Iddo. Wọ́n parí kíkọ́ ilé Olúwa gẹ́gẹ́ bí àṣẹ tí Ọlọ́run Israẹli àti àwọn àṣẹ Kirusi, Dariusi àti Artasasta àwọn ọba Persia pọ̀.

And [the] elders of Jews the [were] building and prospering by [the] prophesying of Haggai (prophet the *Q(K)*) and Zechariah [the] son of Iddo and they built and they finished according to [the] decree of [the] God of Israel and according to [the] decree of Cyrus and Darius and Artaxerxes [the] king of Persia.

And they made [the] people of Israel priests the and Levites the and [the] rest of [the] people of exile the [the] dedication of [the] house of God this with joy.

17 Fún yíya ilé Ọlọ́run yìí sí mímọ́, wọ́n pa ọgọ́rùn-ún akọ màlúù, igba àgbò àti irinwó akọ ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn, àti gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọrẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ fún gbogbo Israẹli, àgbò méjìlá, ọ̀kọ̀ọ̀kan fún olúkúlùkù àwọn ẹ̀yà Israẹli.

And they offered for [the] dedication of [the] house of God this bulls one hundred rams two hundred lambs four hundred and he-goats of goats (for a sin offering *Q(K)*) on all Israel two [plus] ten to [the] number of [the] tribes of Israel.

18 Wọ́n sì fi àwọn àlùfáà sí àwọn ìpín wọ́n àti àwọn Lefi sì ẹgbẹẹgbẹ́ wọn fún ìsin ti Ọlọ́run ní Jerusalẹmu, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ohun tí a kọ sínú ìwé Mose.

And they appointed priests the in divisions their and Levites the in classes their over [the] service of God which [is] in Jerusalem according to [the] writing of [the] book of Moses.

19 Ní ọjọ́ kẹrìnlá ti oṣù Nisani, àwọn tí a kó ní ìgbèkùn ṣe ayẹyẹ àjọ ìrékọjá.

And they celebrated [the] children of the exile the passover on [day] four-teen of the month the first.

For they had purified themselves the priests and the Levites as one all of them [were] pure and they slaughtered the passover for all [the] children of the exile and for brothers their the priests and for themselves.

21 Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni àwọn ọmọ Israẹli tí ó ti dé láti ìgbèkùn jẹ ẹ́ lápapọ̀ pẹ̀lú gbogbo àwọn tí ó ti ya ara wọn kúrò nínú gbogbo iṣẹ́ àìmọ́ ti àwọn kèfèrí aládùúgbò wọn láti wá Olúwa Ọlọ́run Israẹli.

And they ate [the] people of Israel who had returned from the exile and every [one who] had separated himself from [the] uncleanness of [the] nations of the land to them to seek Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

22 Fún ọjọ́ méje, wọ́n ṣe ayẹyẹ àkàrà àìwú pẹ̀lú àjẹtì àkàrà. Nítorí tí Olúwa ti kún wọn pẹ̀lú ayọ̀ nípa yíyí ọkàn ọba Asiria padà, tí ó fi ràn wọ́n lọ́wọ́ lórí iṣẹ́ ilé Ọlọ́run, Ọlọ́run Israẹli.

And they celebrated [the] feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy for - he had made rejoice them Yahweh and he had turned [the] heart of [the] king of Assyria towards them to make strong hands their in [the] work of [the] house of God [the] God of Israel.
