< Ezekiel 7 >

1 Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ̀ mí wá:
Yahweh gave me another message. [He said]
2 “Ọmọ ènìyàn, báyìí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí sí ilé Israẹli: “‘Òpin! Òpin ti dé sí igun mẹ́rẹ̀ẹ̀rin ilẹ̀ náà!
“You human, this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say to [the people] [MTY] of Israel: All of Israel will soon be destroyed.
3 Òpin tí dé sí ọ báyìí, èmi yóò sì tú ìbínú mi jáde sí ọ, èmi yóò dájọ́ rẹ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìwà rẹ, èmi yóò sì san án fún ọ gẹ́gẹ́ bí gbogbo ìwà ìríra rẹ.
[people of Israel], the end has come. I will punish you severely. I will judge you for all the wicked things that you have done, and pay you back for your disgusting behavior.
4 Ojú mi kò ní i dá ọ sì, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni èmi kì yóò ṣàánú; ṣùgbọ́n èmi yóò san án fún ọ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọ̀nà rẹ àti gbogbo ìwà ìríra tó wà láàrín rẹ. Nígbà náà ní ẹ̀yin yóò mọ̀ pé èmi ni Olúwa.’
I will not pity you or act mercifully toward you. I will [surely] punish you for your wicked behavior [DOU]. Then you will know that [it has happened because] I, Yahweh, [have done it].”
5 “Èyí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: “‘Ibi! Ibi kan ṣoṣo. Kíyèsi, ó bọ̀ ní orí rẹ!
This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “You will soon experience many terrible disasters!
6 Òpin ti dé! Òpin ti dé! Ó ti dìde lòdì sí ọ. Kíyèsi, ó ti dé!
This will be the [of Israel]; your country will be finished! And your [lives] will be ended [PRS]!
7 Ìparun ti dé sórí rẹ, ìwọ tó ń gbé ní ilẹ̀ náà. Àkókò náà dé! Ọjọ́ wàhálà ti súnmọ́ etílé! Kì í ṣe ọjọ́ ariwo ayọ̀ lórí òkè.
It will be the end of you people who live in the [of Israel]. The time has come; the [when you will be destroyed] is near. At that time [the people who worship idols] on the mountains will not be happy; they will panic.
8 Mo ṣetán láti tú ìbínú gbígbóná mi lé ọ lórí àti láti lo ìbínú mi lórí rẹ gẹ́gẹ́ bí gbogbo ọ̀nà rẹ, èmi yóò sì dá ọ lẹ́jọ́ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọ̀nà rẹ àti gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìwà ìríra rẹ ni èmi yóò sì san án fún ọ.
I am very angry with you and am about to pour out my punishment [MTY] on you. I will judge you for all the wicked things that you have done and pay you back for your disgusting behavior.
9 Ojú mi kò ní i dá ọ sí, Èmi kò sì ní wò ọ́ pẹ̀lú àánú; èmi yóò san án fún ọ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọ̀nà rẹ àti fún gbogbo ìwà ìríra tí wà láàrín rẹ. “‘Nígbà náà ní ẹ o mọ̀ pé Èmi Olúwa lo kọlù yín.
I will not pity you or act mercifully toward you. I will surely punish you for your wicked behavior [DOU]. Then you will know that it is I, Yahweh, who have punished you.
10 “‘Ọjọ́ náà dé! Kíyèsi ó ti dé! Ìparun ti bú jáde, ọ̀pá ti tanná, ìgbéraga ti rúdí!
The [of your punishment] is here! It has arrived! Disasters have come.
11 Ìwà ipá ti di ọ̀pá ìwà búburú; ọ̀pá láti jẹ ẹni búburú ní ìyà. Kò sí nínú wọn tí yóò ṣẹ́kù, tàbí nínú ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ wọn, kò sí nínú ọrọ̀ wọn, kò sí ohun tí ó ní iye.
People are acting violently and doing more wicked things. And nothing that belongs to those people will be left, none of their money, nothing that is valuable.
12 Àkókò náà dé! Ọjọ́ náà ti dé! Kí òǹrajà má ṣe yọ̀, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ki òǹtajà má ṣe ṣọ̀fọ̀; nítorí, ìbínú gbígbóná wà lórí gbogbo ènìyàn.
Now is the time; that day has arrived.
13 Nítorí pé òǹtajà kì yóò rí gbà padà dúkìá èyí tó tà níwọ̀n ìgbà ti àwọn méjèèjì bá wà láààyè. Nítorí ìran tó kan gbogbo ènìyàn yìí kò ní yí padà. Nítorí ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ wọn, kò sí ọ̀kan nínú wọn tí yóò gba ara rẹ̀ là.
People who buy things should not [because of buying things very cheaply], and those who sell things should not be [because they had to sell things cheaply], [Yahweh] will be punishing [MTY] everyone. During the rest of their lives, people who sell some of their property will never be able to buy it back, because I, Yahweh, will never change my mind about what I have declared; because of your sins, [I will destroy] all of you people.
14 “‘Wọ́n ti fọn ìpè ogun, tí wọ́n sì pèsè ohun gbogbo sílẹ̀, ṣùgbọ́n kò sí ẹni tí yóò lọ ojú ogun, nítorí ìbínú gbígbóná mi ti wà lórí gbogbo ènìyàn.
Even though [soldiers] blow [to prepare for] a battle, no soldier will go into a battle, because I will have killed all of them.
15 Idà wà ní ìta, àjàkálẹ̀-ààrùn àti ìyàn wà nílé, idà yóò pa ẹni tó bá wà ní orílẹ̀-èdè, àjàkálẹ̀-ààrùn àti ìyàn yóò pa ẹni tó bá wà ní ìlú.
[When those things happen, your enemies] will be [the city] with their swords, and there will be plagues and famines [the city]. [who flee from the city] into the countryside will be killed [their enemies’] swords, and those who stay in the city will die from famines and plagues.
16 Gbogbo àwọn tí ó bọ́ nínú wọn yóò sálà, wọn yóò sì wà lórí òkè. Bí i àdàbà inú àfonífojì, gbogbo wọn yóò máa ṣọ̀fọ̀, olúkúlùkù nítorí àìṣedéédéé rẹ̀.
Those who survive and escape will flee to the mountains, and they all will moan like doves because of their sins.
17 Gbogbo ọwọ́ yóò rọ, gbogbo orúnkún yóò di aláìlágbára bí omi.
[Because everyone will be very afraid, ] all the people’s hands will become limp and their knees will become very weak.
18 Wọn yóò wọ aṣọ ọ̀fọ̀, ẹ̀rù yóò sì bò wọ́n mọ́lẹ̀, ìtìjú yóò mù wọn, wọn yóò sì fá irun wọn.
They will put on clothes made from rough cloth, and they will be terrified. Their faces will show that they are ashamed, and they will shave their [to show that they are very sad].
19 “‘Wọn yóò dà fàdákà wọn sí ojú pópó, wúrà wọn yóò sì dàbí èérí fàdákà àti wúrà wọn kò ní le gbà wọ́n ní ọjọ́ ìbínú gbígbóná Olúwa. Wọn kò ní le jẹun tẹ́ ra wọn lọ́rùn tàbí kí wọn kún ikùn wọn pẹ̀lú oúnjẹ nítorí pé ó ti di ohun ìkọ̀sẹ̀ fún wọn.
They will throw their silver into the streets, and consider that their gold is only like [SIM] garbage, because they will realize that their silver and gold will not be able to rescue them when I, Yahweh, punish them. They will not be able to use their gold and silver to buy things to fill their stomachs, because having a lot of gold and silver has led them to sin.
20 Wọ́n ń ṣe ìgbéraga pẹ̀lú ohun ọ̀ṣọ́ wọn tí ó lẹ́wà, wọn sì ti fi ṣe òrìṣà, wọn sì tún ya àwòrán ìríra wọn níbẹ̀. Nítorí náà, èmi yóò sọ àwọn nǹkan wọ̀nyí di aláìmọ́ fún wọn.
They were proud of their beautiful jewelry, and they used it to make their detestable idols and disgusting [of their gods]. So I will cause them to be disgusted with those things.
21 Èmi yóò sì fi àwọn nǹkan wọ̀nyí ṣe ìjẹ fún àjèjì àti ìkógun fún àwọn ènìyàn búburú ayé, wọn yóò sì sọ ọ́ di aláìmọ́.
I will give their silver and gold to foreigners who invade your country and take away your valuable treasures. I will give those things to wicked people, and they will do disgraceful things to those treasures that I give them.
22 Èmi yóò gbójú mi kúrò lára wọn, àwọn ọlọ́ṣà yóò sì sọ ibi ìṣúra mi di aláìmọ́; àwọn ọlọ́ṣà yóò wọ inú rẹ̀, wọn yóò sì bà á jẹ́.
I will not (interfere with/stop) [IDM] robbers when they enter my sacred temple and desecrate it.
23 “‘Rọ ẹ̀wọ̀n irin! Nítorí pé ilẹ̀ náà kún fún ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ìtàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀, ìlú náà sí kún fún ìwà ipá.
Prepare chains to be fastened on you. People are being murdered [MTY] throughout the country, and people are acting violently throughout the city.
24 Èmi yóò mú kí orílẹ̀-èdè ti ó búburú jùlọ láti jogún ilé wọn. Èmi yóò sì fi òpin sí ìgbéraga àwọn alágbára, ibi mímọ́ wọn yóò sì di bíbàjẹ́.
So I will bring armies of the nations whose people are extremely wicked to occupy the houses of the Israeli people. I will cause Israeli [who think that they] are [IRO] strong/mighty to no longer be proud. Your enemies will cause your places of worship to no longer be acceptable to be used.
25 Nígbà tí ìpayà bá dé, wọn yóò wá àlàáfíà, lórí asán.
When your enemies cause you to be terrified, you will plead for them to make peace, but there will be no peace.
26 Wàhálà lórí wàhálà yóò dé, ìdágìrì lórí ìdágìrì. Nígbà náà ni wọn yóò wá ìran lọ́dọ̀ wòlíì, ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀kọ́ òfin yóò parun lọ́dọ̀ àlùfáà, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ìmọ̀ràn yóò ṣègbé lọ́dọ̀ àwọn àgbàgbà.
You will experience many disasters, and you will continually hear [about disasters that are happening in other places]. People will plead with prophets to tell them what visions they have received, [but the prophets will not have received any visions]. Priests will no longer teach people the [that I gave to Moses].
27 Ọba yóò ṣọ̀fọ̀, ọmọ-aládé yóò wà láìní ìrètí, ọwọ́ àwọn ènìyàn ilẹ̀ náà yóò wárìrì. Èmi yóò ṣe é fún wọn gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìṣe wọn, èmi yóò ṣe ìdájọ́ wọn gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìgbékalẹ̀ wọn. Nígbà náà ni wọn yóò mọ̀ pé èmi ní Olúwa.’”
Your king will mourn, and his son will no [longer] [that good things will happen]. The hands of people throughout the country will tremble. And I will do to them what they deserve for their wicked behavior. I will [and condemn] them the same way they have [and condemned] others. Then they will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”
