< Ezekiel 37 >
1 Ọwọ́ Olúwa wà lára mi, ó sì mú mi jáde pẹ̀lú ẹ̀mí Olúwa, ó mú kí ń wà ní àárín àfonífojì; ti o kún fún àwọn egungun.
The hand of the Lord was vpon me, and caryed me out in ye spirit of ye Lord, and set me downe in ye mids of the field, which was full of bones.
2 Ó mú mi lọ síwájú àti sẹ́yìn láàrín wọn, èmi sì rí ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ àwọn egungun ní orí ilẹ̀ àfonífojì, àwọn egungun tí ó gbẹ gan.
And he led me round about by them, and beholde, they were very many in the open fielde, and lo, they were very drie.
And he sayde vnto me, Sonne of man, can these bones liue? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.
4 Nígbà náà ni ó wí fún mi pé, “Sọtẹ́lẹ̀ sí àwọn egungun kí ó sì sọ fún wọn pé, ‘Ẹ̀yin egungun gbígbẹ gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa!
Againe he sayde vnto me, Prophecie vpon these bones and say vnto them, O ye dry bones, heare the word of the Lord.
5 Èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí fún àwọn egungun wọ̀nyí. Èmi yóò mú kí èémí wọ inú yín ẹ̀yin yóò sì wá di ààyè.
Thus saith the Lord God vnto these bones, Behold, I wil cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall liue.
6 Èmi yóò so iṣan ara mọ́ ọn yín, Èmi yóò sì mú kí ẹran-ara wá sí ara yín, Èmi yóò sì fi awọ ara bò yín, Èmi yóò sì fi èémí sínú yín, ẹ̀yin yóò sì wà ní ààyè. Nígbà náà ẹ̀yin yóò mọ̀ pé èmi ni Olúwa.’”
And I will lay sinewes vpon you, and make flesh growe vpon you, and couer you with skinne, and put breath in you, that ye may liue, and yee shall know that I am the Lord.
7 Nítorí náà ni mo ṣe sọtẹ́lẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí a ti pa á láṣẹ fún mi. Bí mo sì ti ń sọtẹ́lẹ̀, ariwo wá, ìró tí ó kígbe sókè, àwọn egungun sì wà papọ̀, egungun sí egungun.
So I prophecied, as I was commanded: and as I prophecied, there was a noyse, and beholde, there was a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 Mo wò ó, iṣan ara àti ẹran-ara farahàn lára wọn, awọ ara sì bò wọ́n, ṣùgbọ́n kò sí èémí nínú wọn.
And when I beheld, loe, the sinewes, and the flesh grewe vpon them, and aboue, the skinne couered them, but there was no breath in them.
9 Lẹ́yìn náà ni ó sọ fún mi pé, “Sọtẹ́lẹ̀ sí èémí; sọtẹ́lẹ̀, ọmọ ènìyàn, kí ó sì sọ fún un pé, ‘Èyí yìí ni ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: wá láti atẹ́gùn mẹ́rẹ̀ẹ̀rin, ìwọ èémí, kí ó sì mí èémí sínú àwọn tí a pa wọ̀nyí, kí wọn kí ó lè wà ní ààyè.’”
Then sayd he vnto me, Prophecie vnto the winde: prophecie, sonne of man, and say to the winde, Thus sayth the Lord God, Come from the foure windes, O breath, and breathe vpon these slayne, that they may liue.
10 Nítorí náà, mo sọtẹ́lẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ó ṣe pa á láṣẹ fún mi, èémí sì wọ inú wọn; wọ́n di alààyè, wọ́n sì dìde dúró lórí ẹsẹ̀ wọn—pẹ̀lú ìhámọ́ra tí ó pọ̀.
So I prophecied as hee had commanded me: and the breath came into them, and they liued, and stood vp vpon their feete, an exceeding great armie.
11 Lẹ́yìn náà ó sọ fún mi: “Ọmọ ènìyàn, àwọn egungun wọ̀nyí ni gbogbo ìdílé Israẹli. Wọ́n sọ wí pé, ‘Egungun wa ti gbẹ ìrètí wa sì ti lọ; a ti gé wa kúrò.’
Then he sayd vnto me, Sonne of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is gone, and we are cleane cut off.
12 Nítorí náà sọtẹ́lẹ̀, kí o sì sọ fun wọn pé, ‘Èyí yìí ni ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè sọ: Ẹ̀yin ènìyàn mi, Èmi yóò ṣí àwọn ibojì yín, èmi yóò sì mú yín wá si ilẹ̀ Israẹli.
Therefore prophecie, and say vnto them, Thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, my people, I will open your graues, and cause you to come vp out of your sepulchres, and bring you into the lande of Israel,
13 Ẹ̀yin o sì mọ̀ èmi ni Olúwa, nígbà tí èmi bá ti ṣí ibojì yín, ẹ̀yin ènìyàn mi, ti èmi bá si mú un yín dìde kúrò nínú ibojì yín.
And yee shall knowe that I am the Lord, when I haue opened your graues, O my people, and brought you vp out of your sepulchres,
14 Èmi yóò fi èémí mi sínú yín, ẹ̀yin yóò sì yè, èmi yóò sì mú kí ẹ fi lélẹ̀ ní ilẹ̀ ẹ̀yin tìkára yín. Nígbà náà ẹ̀yin yóò mọ̀ pé Olúwa ti sọ̀rọ̀, èmi sì ti ṣe ni Olúwa wí.’”
And shall put my Spirit in you, and ye shall liue, and I shall place you in your owne land: then yee shall knowe that I the Lord haue spoken it, and performed it, sayth the Lord.
15 Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ̀ mi wá:
The word of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,
16 “Ọmọ ènìyàn, mú igi pátákó kan kí ó sì kọ̀wé sí ara rẹ̀, ‘Tí ó jẹ́ ti Juda àti ti Israẹli tí ó ní àṣepọ̀ pẹ̀lú rẹ̀.’ Lẹ́yìn náà, kí ó mú igi pátákò mìíràn kí ó sì kọ̀wé sí ara rẹ̀, ‘Tí ó jẹ́ ti tí Josẹfu (tí ó túmọ̀ sí ti Efraimu) àti gbogbo ilé Israẹli tí ó ni àṣepọ̀ pẹ̀lú rẹ̀.’
Moreouer thou sonne of man, take thee a piece of wood, and write vpon it, Vnto Iudah, and to the children of Israel his companions the take another piece of wood, and write vpon it, Vnto Ioseph the tree of Ephraim, and to al the house of Israel his companions.
17 So wọ́n papọ̀ sí ara igi kan nítorí náà wọn yóò di ọ̀kan ní ọwọ́ rẹ.
And thou shalt ioyne the one to another into one tree, and they shalbe as one in thine hand.
18 “Nígbà tí àwọn ara ìlú rẹ bá béèrè lọ́wọ́ rẹ pé, ‘Ṣé ìwọ kò ní sọ ohun tí èyí túmọ̀ sí fún wa?’
And when the children of thy people shall speake vnto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shewe vs what thou meanest by these?
19 Sọ fún wọn pé, ‘Èyí yìí ni ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Èmi yóò gba igi Josẹfu—èyí tí ó wà ní ọwọ́ Efraimu—àti ti ẹ̀yà Israẹli tí ó parapọ̀ mọ́ ọn, kí ó sì só papọ̀ mọ́ igi Juda, láti sọ wọ́n di igi kan ṣoṣo, wọn yóò sì di ọ̀kan ní ọwọ́ mi.’
Thou shalt answere them, Thus sayeth the Lord God, Behold, I wil take the tree of Ioseph, which is in the hande of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellowes, and will put them with him, euen with the tree of Iudah, and make them one tree, and they shalbe one in mine hand.
20 Gbé igi pátákó tí ó kọ nǹkan sí i sókè ní iwájú wọn,
And the pieces of wood, whereon thou writest, shalbe in thine hand, in their sight.
21 kí ó sì sọ fún wọn pé, ‘Èyí yìí ni ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Èmi yóò mú Israẹli jáde kúrò ní àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè tí wọ́n ti lọ. Èmi yóò ṣà wọ́n jọ pọ̀ láti gbogbo agbègbè, èmi yóò sì mú wọn padà sí ilẹ̀ ara wọn.
And say vnto them, Thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and wil gather them on euery side, and bring them into their owne land.
22 Èmi yóò ṣe wọ́n ní orílẹ̀-èdè kan ní ilẹ̀ náà, ní orí òkè Israẹli, ọba kan ni yóò wà lórí gbogbo wọn, wọn kì yóò sì jẹ́ orílẹ̀-èdè méjì mọ́, tàbí kí a pín wọn sí ìjọba méjì.
And I will make them one people in the lande, vpon the mountaines of Israel, and one king shalbe king to them all: and they shalbe no more two peoples, neither bee deuided any more henceforth into two kingdomes.
23 Wọn kì yóò sì tún fi àwọn òrìṣà wọn ba ara wọn jẹ́ mọ́, tàbí ohun ìríra wọn, tàbí ohun ìrékọjá wọn: ṣùgbọ́n èmi yóò gbà wọn là kúrò nínú gbogbo ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ àgàbàgebè wọn, èmi yóò sì wẹ̀ wọn mọ́. Wọn yóò jẹ́ ènìyàn mi, Èmi yóò sì jẹ́ Ọlọ́run wọn.
Neither shall they bee polluted any more with their idoles, nor with their abominations, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will saue them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they haue sinned, and will clense them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 “‘Dafidi ìránṣẹ́ mi ni yóò jẹ ọba lórí wọn, gbogbo wọn yóò sì ní olùṣọ àgùntàn kan. Wọn yóò sì tẹ̀lé òfin mi, wọn yóò sì ṣe àníyàn láti pa àṣẹ mi mọ́.
And Dauid my seruant shalbe king ouer them, and they all shall haue one shepheard: they shall also walke in my iudgements, and obserue my statutes, and doe them.
25 Wọn yóò gbé ní ilẹ̀ tí mo fún Jakọbu ìránṣẹ́ mi, ilẹ̀ tí àwọn baba yín ń gbé. Àwọn àti àwọn ọmọ wọn àti àwọn ọmọ ọmọ wọn ni yóò máa gbé ibẹ̀ láéláé, ìránṣẹ́ mi Dafidi ni yóò jẹ́ Ọmọ-aládé wọn láéláé.
And they shall dwell in the lande, that I haue giuen vnto Iaakob my seruant, where your fathers haue dwelt, and they shall dwel therein, euen they, and their sonnes, and their sonnes sonnes for euer, and my seruant Dauid shall bee their prince for euer.
26 Èmi yóò dá májẹ̀mú àlàáfíà pẹ̀lú wọn, yóò sì jẹ́ májẹ̀mú títí ayérayé. Èmi yóò gbé wọn kalẹ̀, èmi yóò sì sọ wọ́n di púpọ̀ ní iye, èmi yóò sì gbé ilé mímọ́ mi kalẹ̀ ní àárín wọn títí láé.
Moreouer, I will make a couenant of peace with them: it shall be an euerlasting couenant with them, and I wil place them, and multiply them, and wil set my Sanctuarie among them for euermore.
27 Ibùgbé mí yóò wà pẹ̀lú wọn, Èmi yóò jẹ́ Ọlọ́run wọn, wọn yóò sì jẹ́ ènìyàn mi.
My tabernacle also shalbe with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shalbe my people.
28 Nígbà náà ni àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè yóò mọ̀ pé, Èmi Olúwa sọ Israẹli di mímọ́, nígbà tí ibi mímọ́ mi bá wà ní àárín wọn títí ayérayé.’”
Thus the heathen shall knowe, that I the Lord do sanctifie Israel, when my Sanctuarie shall be among them for euermore.
