< Ezekiel 21 >

1 Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ mi wá:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
2 “Ọmọ ènìyàn, kọ ojú rẹ sí ìhà Jerusalẹmu, kí o sì wàásù lòdì sí ibi mímọ́. Sọ àsọtẹ́lẹ̀ sí ilẹ̀ Israẹli.
Therefore prophesy, son of man, set your face steadfastly towards Jerusalem, and look towards their holy places, and you shall prophesy against the land of Israel,
3 Kí ó sì sọ fún un pe, ‘Èyí yìí ni Olúwa wí, Èmi lòdì sí ọ. Èmi yóò fa idà mi yọ kúrò nínú àkọ̀ rẹ̀, Èmi yóò sì ké olódodo àti ènìyàn búburú kúrò ni àárín yín.
and you shall say to the land of Israel, Thus says the Lord; Behold, I am against you, and I will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and I will destroy out of you the transgressor and unrighteous.
4 Nítorí pé, èmi yóò ké olódodo àti olùṣe búburú kúrò, idà mi yóò jáde láti inú àkọ̀ rẹ̀ lòdì sí gbogbo ènìyàn láti gúúsù títí dé àríwá.
Because I will destroy out of you the unrighteous and the transgressor, [therefore] so shall my sword come forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:
5 Nígbà náà gbogbo ènìyàn yóò mọ̀ pé, Èmi Olúwa ti yọ idà mi kúrò nínú àkọ̀ rẹ̀; kì yóò sì padà sínú rẹ̀ mọ́.’
and all flesh shall know that I the Lord have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath: it shall not return any more.
6 “Nítorí náà, mí ìmí ẹ̀dùn ìwọ ọmọ ènìyàn! Mí ìmí ẹ̀dùn pẹ̀lú ọkàn ìbànújẹ́ àti ẹ̀dùn ọkàn kíkorò ní iwájú wọn.
And you, son of man, groan with the breaking of your loins; you shall even groan heavily in their sight.
And it shall come to pass, if they shall say to you, Therefore do you groan? that you shall say, For the report; because it comes: and every heart shall break, and all hands shall become feeble, and all flesh and every spirit shall faint, and all thighs shall be defiled with moisture: behold, it comes, says the Lord.
8 Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa si tún tọ̀ mí wá pé:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
9 “Ọmọ ènìyàn, sọtẹ́lẹ̀ wí pé, èyí yìí ní Olúwa wí pé, “‘Idà kan, idà kan, tí a pọ́n, tí a sì dán pẹ̀lú,
Son of man, prophesy, and you shall say, Thus says the Lord; Say, Sword, sword, be sharpened and rage,
10 a pọ́n láti pa ènìyàn púpọ̀, a dán an láti máa kọ mọ̀nà! “‘Àwa o ha máa ṣe àríyá ọ̀gọ ọmọ mi? Idà gán gbogbo irú igi bẹ́ẹ̀.
that you may kill victims; be sharpened that you may be bright, ready for slaughter, kill, set at nothing, despise every tree.
11 “‘Idà ní a yàn láti pọ́n, kí ó lè ṣe é gbámú; a pọ́n ọn, a sì dán an, ó ṣetán fún ọwọ́ àwọn apani.
And he made it ready for his hand to hold: the sword is sharpened, it is ready to put into the hand of the slayer.
12 Sọkún síta, kí ó sì pohùnréré ẹ̀kún, ọmọ ènìyàn, nítorí yóò wá sórí àwọn ènìyàn mi; yóò wá sórí gbogbo ọmọ-aládé Israẹli ìbẹ̀rù ńlá yóò wá sórí àwọn ènìyàn mi nítorí idà náà; nítorí náà lu oókan àyà rẹ.
Cry out and howl, son of man: for this [sword] is come upon my people, this [sword is come] upon all the princes of Israel: they shall be as strangers: [judgement] with the sword is come upon my people: therefore clap your hands, for sentence has been passed:
13 “‘Ìdánwò yóò dé dandan. Tí ọ̀pá aládé Juda èyí tí idà kẹ́gàn, kò bá tẹ̀síwájú mọ́ ń kọ́? Ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí.’
and what if even the tribe be rejected? it shall not be, says the Lord God.
14 “Nítorí náà, ọmọ ènìyàn, sọtẹ́lẹ̀ kí ó sì fi ọwọ́ lu ọwọ́. Jẹ́ kí idà lu ara wọn lẹ́ẹ̀méjì, kódà ní ẹ̀ẹ̀mẹta. Ó jẹ́ idà fún ìpànìyàn idà fún ìpànìyàn lọ́pọ̀lọ́pọ̀, tí yóò sé wọn mọ́ níhìn-ín àti lọ́hùnnún.
And you, son of man, prophesy, and clap your hands, and take a second sword: the third sword is [the sword] of the slain, the great sword of the slain: and you shall strike them with amazement, lest the heart should faint
15 Kí ọkàn kí ó lè yọ́ kí àwọn tí ó ṣubú le pọ̀, mo ti gbé idà sí gbogbo bodè fún ìparun. Háà! A mú kí ó kọ bí ìmọ̀nàmọ́ná, a gbá a mú fún ìparun.
and the weak ones be multiplied at every gate—they are given up to the slaughter of the sword: it is well fitted for slaughter, it is well fitted for glittering.
16 Ìwọ idà, jà sí ọ̀tún kí o sì jà sí òsì lọ ibikíbi tí ẹnu rẹ bá dojúkọ.
And do you go on, sharpen yourself on the right and on the left wherever your face may set itself.
17 Èmi gan an yóò pàtẹ́wọ́ ìbínú mi yóò sì rẹlẹ̀. Èmi Olúwa ti sọ̀rọ̀.”
And I also will clap my hands, and let loose my fury: I the Lord have spoken [it].
18 Ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tọ mi wá:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
19 “Ọmọ ènìyàn la ọ̀nà méjì fún idà ọba Babeli láti gbà, kí méjèèjì bẹ̀rẹ̀ láti ìlú kan náà. Ṣe àmì sí ìkóríta ọ̀nà tí ó lọ sí ìlú náà.
and you, son of man, appoint you two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may enter in: the two shall go forth of one country; and [there shall be] a force at the top of the way of the city, you shall set [it] at the top of the way,
20 La ọ̀nà kan fún idà láti wá kọlu Rabba ti àwọn ará Ammoni kí òmíràn kọlu Juda, kí ó sì kọlu Jerusalẹmu ìlú olódi.
that the sword may enter in upon Rabbath of the children of Ammon, and upon Judea, and upon Jerusalem in the midst thereof.
21 Nítorí ọba Babeli yóò dúró ni ìyànà ní ojú ọ̀nà, ní ìkóríta, láti máa lo àfọ̀ṣẹ. Yóò fi ọfà di ìbò, yóò béèrè lọ́wọ́ àwọn òrìṣà rẹ̀, òun yóò ṣe àyẹ̀wò ẹ̀dọ̀.
For the king of Babylon shall stand on the old way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination, to make bright the arrow, and to enquire of the graven images, and to examine [the victims].
22 Nínú ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ ni ìbò Jerusalẹmu yóò ti wá, ní ibi tí yóò ti gbé afárá kalẹ̀, láti pàṣẹ fún àwọn apànìyàn, láti mú ki wọn hó ìhó ogun láti gbé òòlù dí ẹnu-ọ̀nà ibodè, láti mọ odi, àti láti kọ́ ilé ìṣọ́.
On his right was the divination against Jerusalem, to cast a mound, to open the mouth in shouting, to lift up the voice with crying, to cast a mound against her gates, to cast up a heap, and to build forts.
23 Àfọ̀ṣẹ náà yóò dàbí àmì èké sí àwọn tí ó ti búra ìtẹríba fún un, ṣùgbọ́n òun yóò ran wọn létí ẹbí wọn yóò sì mú wọn lọ sí ìgbèkùn.
And he was to them as one using divination before them, and he himself recounting his iniquities, that they might be borne in mind.
24 “Nítorí náà èyí ní ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: ‘Nítorí ti ẹ̀yin ti mú ẹ̀bi yín wá sí ìrántí nípa ìṣọ̀tẹ̀ ní gbangba, ní ṣíṣe àfihàn àwọn ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ rẹ nínú gbogbo ohun tí ó ṣe, nítorí tí ẹ̀yin ti ṣe èyí, a yóò mú yín ní ìgbèkùn.
Therefore thus says the Lord, Because you have caused your iniquities to be remembered, in the discovery of your wickedness, so that your sins should be seen, in all your wickedness and in your [evil] practices; because you have caused remembrance [of them], in these shall you be taken.
25 “‘Ìwọ aláìmọ́ àti ẹni búburú ọmọ-aládé Israẹli, ẹni ti ọjọ́ rẹ̀ ti dé, ẹni tí àsìkò ìjìyà rẹ̀ ti dé góńgó,
And you profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day, [even] an end, is come in a sea of iniquity, thus says the Lord;
26 èyí yìí ní ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí, tú ìwérí kúrò kí o sì gbé adé kúrò. Kò ní rí bí ti tẹ́lẹ̀, ẹni ìgbéga ni a yóò sì rẹ̀ sílẹ̀.
You have taken off the mitre and put on the crown, it shall not have such [another] after it: you have abased that which was high, and exalted that which was low.
27 Ìparun! Ìparun! Èmi yóò ṣé e ni ìparun! Kì yóò padà bọ̀ sípò bí kò ṣe pé tí ó bá wá sí ọ̀dọ̀ ẹni tí ó ní ẹ̀tọ́ láti ni in; òun ni èmi yóò fi fún.’
Injustice, injustice, injustice, will I make it: woe to it: such shall it be until he comes to whom it belongs; and I will deliver [it] to him.
28 “Àti ìwọ, ọmọ ènìyàn sọtẹ́lẹ̀ kí ó sì wí pé, ‘Èyí yìí ní ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí nípa àwọn ará Ammoni àti àbùkù wọn: “‘Idà kan idà kan tí á fa yọ fún ìpànìyàn tí a dán láti fi ènìyàn ṣòfò àti láti kọ bí ìmọ̀nàmọ́ná!
And you, son of man, prophesy, and you shall say, Thus says the Lord, concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and you shall say, O sword, sword, drawn for slaughter, and drawn for destruction, awake, that you may gleam.
29 Bí ó tilẹ̀ jẹ́ pé a rí èké nípa yín àti àfọ̀ṣẹ èké nípa yín a yóò gbé e lé àwọn ọrùn ènìyàn búburú ti a ó pa, àwọn tí ọjọ́ wọn ti dé, àwọn tí ọjọ́ ìjìyà wọn ti dé góńgó.
While you are seeing vain [visions], and while you are prophesying falsehoods, to bring yourself upon the necks of ungodly transgressors, the day is come, [even] an end, in a season of iniquity.
30 “‘Dá idà padà sínú àkọ̀ rẹ̀. Níbi tí a gbé ṣẹ̀dá yín, ní ibi tí ẹ̀yin ti ṣẹ̀ wá.
Turn, rest not in this place wherein you were born: in your own land will I judge you.
31 Níbẹ̀ ni èmi yóò ti ṣe ìdájọ́ yín, èmi o sì fi èémí ìbínú gbígbóná mi bá yín jà.
And I will pour out my wrath upon you, I will blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and I will deliver you into the hands of barbarians skilled in working destruction.
32 Ẹ̀yin yóò jẹ́ èpò fún iná náà, a yóò ta ẹ̀jẹ̀ yin sórí ilẹ̀ yín, a kì yóò rántí yín mọ́; nítorí Èmi Olúwa ní ó ti wí bẹ́ẹ̀.’”
You shall be fuel for fire; your blood shall be in the midst of your land; there shall be no remembrance at all of you: for I the Lord have spoken [it].
