1 “Ṣe àgọ́ náà pẹ̀lú aṣọ títa mẹ́wàá, aṣọ ọ̀gbọ̀ olókùn wíwẹ́ àti aṣọ aláró, ti elése àlùkò, àti ti òdòdó, pẹ̀lú àwọn kérúbù ni kí ó ṣe iṣẹ́ ọlọ́nà sí wọn.
“[Tell the people to] make the Sacred Tent using ten long strips of fine linen. They must take blue, purple, and red thread (OR, weave the strips from blue, purple, and red thread), and [a skilled craftsman] must embroider these strips with [designs that represent] the winged creatures [that are above the chest].
2 Gbogbo aṣọ títa náà ni kí ó jẹ́ ìwọ̀n kan náà: ìgbọ̀nwọ́ méjìdínlọ́gbọ̀n ní gígùn àti ìgbọ̀nwọ́ mẹ́rin ni fífẹ̀.
Each strip is to be (14 yards/twelve meters) long and (2 yards/1.8 meters) wide.
3 Aṣọ títa márùn-ún ni kí a so papọ̀ mọ́ ara wọn, àti aṣọ títa márùn-ún ni kí a so papọ̀ mọ́ ara wọn.
[Tell them to] sew five strips together to make one set, and sew the other five strips together to make another set.
4 Ìwọ yóò ṣì ṣe ajábó aṣọ aláró sí aṣọ títa kan láti ìṣẹ́tí rẹ̀ wá níbi ìsopọ̀, àti bẹ́ẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ ni ìwọ yóò ṣe ni etí ìkangun aṣọ títa kejì, ni ibi ìsopọ̀ kejì.
For each set, [they must] make loops of blue [cloth] and fasten them along the outer edge of the strip, at the end of each set.
5 Àádọ́ta ajábó ní ó pa lára aṣọ títa kan, àti àádọ́ta ajábó ni ó sì lò pa ní etí aṣọ títa tí ó wà ní ìsolù kejì, ajábó náà sì wà ní ọ̀kánkán ara wọn.
[They must] put 50 loops on the edge of the first set, and 50 loops on the edge of the second set.
6 Ó sì ṣe àádọ́ta ìkọ́ wúrà, ó sì lò ìkọ́ wọ̀n-ọn-nì láti fi aṣọ títa kan kọ́ èkejì, bẹ́ẹ̀ ó sì di odidi àgọ́ kan.
[Tell them to] make 50 gold clasps/fasteners, to fasten both of the sets together. As a result, the inside of the Sacred Tent will be [as though it was] one piece.
7 “Ìwọ ó sì ṣe aṣọ títa irun ewúrẹ́ láti fi ṣe ìbò sórí àgọ́ náà—aṣọ títa mọ́kànlá ni ìwọ ó ṣe é.
Also, [tell them to] make a cover for the Sacred Tent from eleven pieces of cloth made from goats’ hair.
8 Gbogbo aṣọ títa mọ́kọ̀ọ̀kànlá náà jẹ́ ìwọ̀n kan náà, ọgbọ̀n ìgbọ̀nwọ́ ní gígùn àti ìgbọ̀nwọ́ mẹ́rin ní fífẹ̀.
Each piece of cloth is to be (15 yards/13.5 meters) long and (2 yards/1.8 meters) wide.
9 Ìwọ ó so aṣọ títa márùn-ún pọ̀ mọ́ ara wọn se ọ̀kan, ó sì tún so mẹ́fà tókù mọ́ ara wọn se ọ̀kan. Ìwọ ó sì ṣẹ́ aṣọ títa kẹfà po sí méjì níwájú àgọ́ náà.
[Tell them to] sew five of these pieces of cloth together to make one set, and sew the other six pieces of cloth together to make another set. [They] must fold the sixth piece [of cloth] in half to make it double over the front of the Sacred Tent.
10 Ìwọ ó sì pa àádọ́ta ajábó sí ìṣẹ́tí ìkangun aṣọ títa ní apá kan, wọ́n sì tún pa ajábó mìíràn sí ìṣẹ́tí ìkangun aṣọ títa ní apá kejì.
[Tell them to] make 100 loops [of blue cloth], and to fasten 50 of them to the outer edge of the one set and fasten 50 to the outer edge of the other set.
11 Nígbà náà ṣe àádọ́ta ìkọ́ idẹ kí o sì kó wọn sínú ọ̀jábó láti fi so àgọ́ náà pọ̀ kí ó lè jẹ́ ọ̀kan.
[Tell them to] make fifty bronze clasps/fasteners and put them in the cloth loops to join the two sets together. As a result, the cover for the Sacred Tent will be [as though it was] one piece.
12 Àti ìyókù tí ó kù nínú aṣọ títa àgọ́ náà, ìdajì aṣọ títa tí ó kù, yóò rọ̀ sórí ẹ̀yìn àgọ́ náà.
[Let] the extra part of the cover, the part that extends beyond [the linen cloth], hang over the back of the Sacred Tent.
13 Aṣọ títa àgọ́ náà yóò jẹ́ ìgbọ̀nwọ́ kan gígùn ní ìhà méjèèjì, èyí tí ó kù yóò rọ̀ sórí ìhà àgọ́ náà láti fi bò ó.
The extra half yard/meter of each cover, the part that extends beyond [the linen cloth] on each side, must hang over the two sides of the Sacred Tent, to protect the sides.
14 Ìwọ ó sì ṣe ìbòrí awọ àgbò tí a rì ní pupa fún àgọ́ náà, kí ó sì ṣe ìbòrí awọ seali sórí rẹ̀.
[Tell them to] make two more covers for the Sacred Tent. One is to be made from rams’ skins that have been (tanned/dyed red), and the top cover is to be made from goatskin leather.”
15 “Ìwọ ó sì ṣe pákó igi kasia tí ó dúró òró fún àgọ́ náà.
“[Tell them to] make frames from acacia wood, frames that will be set up [from which to hang the Sacred Tent covers].
16 Kí pákó kọ̀ọ̀kan jẹ́ ìgbọ̀nwọ́ mẹ́wàá ní gígùn àti ìgbọ̀nwọ́ kan ààbọ̀ ní fífẹ̀.
Each frame is to be (five yards/four meters) long and (27 in./66 cm.) wide.
17 Pẹ̀lú ìtẹ̀bọ̀ méjì ni kí ó kọjú sí ara wọn. Ṣe gbogbo àwọn pákó àgọ́ náà bí èyí.
[They] must make two projections at the bottom of each frame. These will be to fasten the frames to the bases underneath them. They must make these projections at the bottom of each frame.
18 Ìwọ ó sì ṣe ogún pákó sí ìhà gúúsù àgọ́ náà,
Make 20 frames for the south side of the Sacred Tent.
19 ìwọ ó sì ṣe ogójì ìhà ìtẹ̀bọ̀ fàdákà kí ó lọ sí ìsàlẹ̀ wọn. Méjì fún pákó kọ̀ọ̀kan, ọ̀kan ní ìsàlẹ̀ ìtẹ̀bọ̀ kọ̀ọ̀kan.
[Tell them to] make 40 silver bases to go underneath them. Two bases will go under each frame. The projections [at the bottom] of each frame are [to be made] to fit into the bases.
20 Àti ìhà kejì, ni ìhà àríwá àgọ́ náà, ṣe ogún pákó síbẹ̀
[Similarly], [tell them to] make twenty frames for the north side of the Sacred Tent.
21 àti ogójì ihò ìtẹ̀bọ̀ fàdákà méjì ní abẹ́ pákó kọ̀ọ̀kan.
[They] must make 40 silver bases for them also, with two bases to be put under each frame.
22 Kí ìwọ kí ó ṣe pákó mẹ́fà sì ìkangun, ní ìkangun ìhà ìwọ̀-oòrùn àgọ́ náà,
For the rear of the Sacred Tent, on the west side, [tell them to] make six frames.
23 kí o sì ṣe pákó méjì fún igun ní ìhà ẹ̀yìn.
Also, [tell them to] make two extra frames, one for each corner of the rear of the Sacred Tent, [to provide extra support].
24 Ní igun méjèèjì yìí, wọ́n gbọdọ̀ jẹ́ méjì láti ìdí dé orí rẹ̀, a ó sì so wọ́n pọ̀ sí òrùka kan: méjèèjì yóò sì rí bákan náà.
The two corner frames must be joined from the bottom to the top (OR, joined at both the bottom and the top). At the top of each of the two corner frames there must be a gold ring for holding the crossbar.
25 Wọn ó sì jẹ́ pákó mẹ́jọ, àti ihò ìtẹ̀bọ̀ fàdákà mẹ́rìnlélógún, méjì wà ní ìsàlẹ̀ ọ̀kọ̀ọ̀kan.
In that way, [for the rear of the Sacred Tent] there will be eight frames, and there will be 16 bases, two under each frame.
26 “Ìwọ ó sì ṣe ọ̀pá ìdábùú igi kasia; márùn-ún fún pákó ìhà kan àgọ́ náà,
[Tell them to] make 15 crossbars from acacia wood.
27 márùn-ún fún àwọn ìhà kejì, àti márùn-ún fún pákó ni ìhà ìwọ̀-oòrùn ní ìhà ẹ̀yìn àgọ́ náà.
Five of them will be for the frames on the north side of the Sacred Tent, five will be for the south side, and five for the frames at the rear of the Sacred Tent, the west side.
28 Ọ̀pá ìdábùú àárín ni agbede-méjì gbọdọ̀ tàn láti ìkangun dé ìkangun pákó náà.
Tell them to fasten the crossbars on the north, south, and west sides of the Sacred Tent to the middle of the frames. The two long ones must extend from one end of the Sacred Tent to the other, and the crossbar on the west side must extend from one side of the Sacred Tent to the other.
29 Ìwọ́ ó sì bo àwọn pákó náà pẹ̀lú wúrà, kí o sì ṣe òrùka wúrà kí ó lè di ọ̀pá ìdábùú mu. Kí o sì tún bo ọ̀pá ìdábùú náà pẹ̀lú wúrà.
[Tell them to] cover the frames with gold, and make gold rings to fasten the crossbars to the frames. The crossbars must [also] be covered with gold.
30 “Gbé àgọ́ náà ró gẹ́gẹ́ bí àpẹẹrẹ tí a fihàn ọ́ lórí òkè.
Erect the Sacred Tent in the way that I have shown you [here] on [this] mountain.”
31 “Ìwọ ó sì ṣe aṣọ ìgélé aláró, àti elése àlùkò, àti òdòdó, àti ọ̀gbọ̀ olókùn wẹ́wẹ́ tí í ṣe ọlọ́nà, tí òun ti àwọn kérúbù ni kí á ṣe é.
“[Tell them to] make a curtain from fine linen. A skilled craftsman must embroider it with blue, purple, and red yarn/thread, making [designs to represent] the winged creatures [that are above the chest].
32 Ìwọ yóò sì fi rọ̀ sára òpó tí ó di igi kasia mẹ́rin ró tí a fi wúrà bò, tí ó dúró lórí ihò ìtẹ̀bọ̀ mẹ́rin mẹ́rin.
[Tell them to] suspend/hang the curtain from four posts made from acacia wood and covered with gold. Set [each] post in a silver base.
33 Ṣo aṣọ títa náà sí ìsàlẹ̀ àwọn ìkọ́, kí o sì gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí sí ẹ̀gbẹ́ aṣọ títa náà. Aṣọ títa náà yóò pínyà Ibi Mímọ́ kúrò ní Ibi Mímọ́ Jùlọ.
[They] must suspend/hang the [top of the] curtain by hooks that are fastened to the roof of the Sacred Tent. Behind the curtain, in the [room called the] Very Holy Place, [they] must put the chest containing the [two stone slabs on which I have written my] commandments. That curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Very Holy Place.
34 Fi ìtẹ́ àánú bo àpótí ẹ̀rí náà ni Ibi Mímọ́ Jùlọ.
On top of the chest in the Very Holy Place [they] must put the lid which will be the place where [blood will be sprinkled to] forgive people’s sins.
35 Gbé tábìlì náà sí ìta aṣọ títa náà sí ìhà gúúsù àgọ́ náà, kí o sì gbé ọ̀pá fìtílà sí òdìkejì rẹ̀ ní ìhà àríwá.
[In the room that is] outside of the Very Holy Place, [they] must put the table [for the sacred] bread on the north side, and put the lampstand on the south side.
36 “Fún ti ẹnu-ọ̀nà àgọ́ náà, ìwọ yóò ṣe aṣọ títa aláró, elése àlùkò, ti òdòdó àti ti ọ̀gbọ̀ olókùn wíwẹ́ tí a fi iṣẹ́ abẹ́rẹ́ ṣe.
[Tell them to] make a curtain to [cover] the entrance of the Sacred Tent. They must make it from fine linen, and a skilled weaver must embroider it with blue, purple, and red yarn/thread.
37 Ìwọ ó sì ṣe ìkọ́ wúrà fún aṣọ títa yìí, àti òpó igi ṣittimu márùn-ún tí a sì fi wúrà bò. Kí o sì dà ihò ìtẹ̀bọ̀ idẹ márùn-ún fún wọn.
To hold up this curtain, [they] must make five posts from acacia wood. [They] must cover them with gold, and fasten gold clasps/fasteners to them. Also [they] must make a bronze base for each of these posts.”
