Exodus 18
1 Jetro, àlùfáà Midiani, àna Mose, gbọ́ gbogbo ohun tí Ọlọ́run ti ṣe fún Mose àti fún Israẹli àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀, àti bí Olúwa ti mú àwọn ènìyàn Israẹli jáde láti Ejibiti wá.
And whanne Jetro, the prest of Madian, `the alye of Moises, hadde herd alle thingis which God hadde do to Moises, and to Israel his puple, for the Lord hadde led Israel out of the lond of Egipt,
2 Nígbà náà ni Jetro mu aya Mose tí í ṣe Sippora padà lọ sọ́dọ̀ rẹ (nítorí ó ti dá a padà sí ọ̀dọ̀ baba rẹ̀ tẹ́lẹ̀),
he took Sefora, `the wijf of Moises, whom he hadde sent ayen,
3 Òun àti àwọn ọmọkùnrin rẹ̀ méjèèjì. Orúkọ àkọ́bí ń jẹ́ Gerṣomu; nítorí Mose wí pé, “Èmi ń ṣe àlejò ni ilẹ̀ àjèjì.”
and hise twei sones, of which oon was clepid Gersan, for the fadir seide, Y was a comelyng in alien lond,
4 Èkejì ń jẹ́ Elieseri; ó wí pé, “Ọlọ́run baba mi ni alátìlẹ́yìn mi, ó sì gbà mí là kúrò lọ́wọ́ idà Farao.”
forsothe the tother was clepid Eliezer, for Moises seide, God of my fadir is myn helpere, and he delyuerede me fro the swerd of Farao.
5 Jetro, àna Mose, òun àti aya àti àwọn ọmọ Mose tọ̀ ọ́ wá nínú aginjù tí ó tẹ̀dó sí, nítòsí òkè Ọlọ́run.
Therfor Jetro, `alie of Moises, cam, and the sones of Moises and his wijf camen to Moises, in to deseert, where Jetro settide tentis bisidis the hil of God;
6 Jetro sì ti ránṣẹ́ sí Mose pé, “Èmi Jetro, àna rẹ, ni mo ń bọ̀ wá sí ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ, èmi àti aya àti àwọn ọmọkùnrin rẹ méjèèjì.”
and sente to Moises, and seide, Y Jetro, thin alie, come to thee, and thi wijf, and thi twei sones with hir.
7 Mose sì jáde lọ pàdé àna rẹ̀, ó tẹríba fún un, ó sì fi ẹnu kò ó ni ẹnu. Wọ́n sì béèrè àlàáfíà ara wọn, wọ́n sì wọ inú àgọ́ lọ.
And Moises yede out into the comyng of his alie, and worschipide, and kiste hym, and thei gretten hem silf to gidere with pesible wordis.
8 Mose sọ fún àna rẹ̀ nípa ohun gbogbo ti Olúwa tí ṣe sí Farao àti àwọn ará Ejibiti nítorí Israẹli. Ó sọ nípa gbogbo ìṣòro tí wọn bá pàdé ní ọ̀nà wọn àti bí Olúwa ti gbà wọ́n là.
And whanne he hadde entrid in to the tabernacle, Moises tolde to `his alie alle thingis whiche God hadde do to Farao, and to Egipcians, for Israel, and he tolde al the trauel which bifelle to hem in the weie, of which the Lord delyuerede hem.
9 Inú Jetro dùn láti gbọ́ gbogbo ohun rere ti Olúwa ṣe fún Israẹli, ẹni tí ó mú wọ́n jáde kúrò ni ilẹ̀ Ejibiti.
And Jetro was glad on alle the goodis whiche the Lord hadde do to Israel, for he delyuerede Israel fro the hond of Egipcians.
10 Jetro sì wí pé, “Ìyìn ni fún Olúwa, ẹni tí ó gba yín là kúrò lọ́wọ́ àwọn ará Ejibiti àti lọ́wọ́ Farao, ẹni tí ó sì gba àwọn ènìyàn là kúrò lọ́wọ́ àwọn ará Ejibiti.
And Jetro seide, Blessid be `the Lord, that delyuerede you fro the hond of Egipcians, and fro `the hond of Farao, which Lord delyuered his puple fro the hond of Egipt;
11 Mo mọ nísinsin yìí pé Olúwa tóbi ju gbogbo àwọn òrìṣà lọ; nítorí ti ó gba àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ kúrò lọ́wọ́ ìgbéraga àti ìkà àwọn ará Ejibiti.”
now Y knowe that the Lord is greet aboue alle goddis, for `thei diden proudli ayens hem.
12 Jetro, àna Mose, mú ẹbọ sísun àti ẹbọ wá fún Ọlọ́run. Aaroni àti gbogbo àgbàgbà Israẹli sì wá láti bá àna Mose jẹun ní iwájú Ọlọ́run.
Therfor Jetro, `alie of Moises, offride brent sacrifices and offryngis to God; and Aaron, and alle the eldere men of Israel, camen to ete breed with hym bifore God.
13 Ní ọjọ́ kejì, Mose jókòó láti máa ṣe ìdájọ́ fún àwọn ènìyàn gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìṣe rẹ̀; àwọn ènìyàn sì dúró ti Mose fún ìdájọ́ wọn láti òwúrọ̀ títí di ìrọ̀lẹ́.
Forsothe in the tother dai Moises sat that he schulde deme the puple, that stood niy Moises, fro the morewtid til to euentid.
14 Nígbà tí àna Mose rí bí àkókò ti èyí ń gba ti pọ̀ tó àti ti àwọn ènìyàn ti ń dúró pẹ́ tó, ó wí pé, “Kí ni èyí tí ìwọ ń ṣe sí àwọn ènìyàn? Èéṣe ti ìwọ nìkan jókòó gẹ́gẹ́ bí adájọ́, nígbà tí àwọn ènìyàn wọ̀nyí dúró yí ọ ká láti òwúrọ̀ di ìrọ̀lẹ́?”
And whanne `his alie hadde seyn this, that is, alle thingis `whiche he dide in the puple, he seide, What is this that thou doist in the puple? whi sittist thou aloone, and al the puple abidith fro the morewtid til to euentid?
15 Mose dá a lóhùn pé, “Nítorí àwọn ènìyàn ń tọ̀ mí wá láti mọ́ ìfẹ́ Ọlọ́run.
To whom Moises answeride, The puple cometh to me, and axith the sentence of God;
16 Nígbà tí wọ́n bá ní ẹjọ́, wọn a mú un tọ̀ mí wá, èmi a sì ṣe ìdájọ́ láàrín ẹnìkínní àti ẹnìkejì, èmi a sì máa mú wọn mọ òfin àti ìlànà Ọlọ́run.”
and whanne ony strijf bifallith to hem, thei comen to me, that Y deme bitwixe hem, and schewe `the comaundementis of God, and hise lawis.
17 Àna Mose dá a lóhùn pé, “Ohun tí o ń ṣe yìí kò dára.
And Jetro seide, Thou doist a thing not good,
18 Ìwọ àti àwọn ènìyàn ti ń tọ̀ ọ́ wá yìí yóò dá ara yín ní agara; iṣẹ́ yìí pọ̀jù fún ọ, ìwọ nìkan kò lè dá a ṣe.
thou art wastid with a fonned trauel, bothe thou and this puple which is with thee; the werk is a boue thi strengthis, thou aloone maist not suffre it.
19 Nísinsin yìí, fetísílẹ̀ sí mi, èmi yóò sì gbà ọ́ ni ìmọ̀ràn, Ọlọ́run yóò sì wà pẹ̀lú rẹ. Ìwọ gbọdọ̀ jẹ́ aṣojú àwọn ènìyàn wọ̀nyí níwájú Ọlọ́run, ìwọ yóò sì mú èdè-àìyedè wá sí iwájú rẹ̀.
But here thou my wordis and counseils, and the Lord schal be with thee; be thou to the puple in these thingis that perteynen to God, that thou telle the thingis that ben seid to the puple;
20 Kọ́ wọn ní òfin àti ìlànà Ọlọ́run, fi ọ̀nà igbe ayé ìwà-bí-Ọlọ́run hàn wọ́n àti iṣẹ́ tí wọn yóò máa ṣe.
and schewe to the puple the cerymonyes, and custom of worschipyng, and the weie bi which `thei owen to go, and the werk which `thei owen to do.
21 Ṣa àwọn tí ó kún ojú òsùwọ̀n nínú gbogbo àwọn ènìyàn, àwọn tó bẹ̀rù Ọlọ́run, ti wọ́n jẹ́ olóòtítọ́, tí wọ́n kórìíra ìrẹ́jẹ; yàn wọ́n ṣe olórí, lórí ẹgbẹ̀rún ẹgbẹ̀rún, ọgọ́rùn-ún ọgọ́rùn-ún, àádọ́ta-dọ́ta àti mẹ́wàá mẹ́wàá.
Forsothe puruey thou of al the puple myyti men, and dredynge God, in whiche is treuthe, and whiche haten auarice; and ordeyne thou of hem tribunes, and centuriouns, and quinquagenaries, and deenys,
22 Jẹ́ kí wọn ó máa ṣe ìdájọ́ àwọn ènìyàn ni gbogbo ìgbà, ṣùgbọ́n jẹ́ kí wọn mú ẹjọ́ tí ó bá nira fún wọn láti dá tọ̀ ọ́ wá; kí wọn kí ó máa dá ẹjọ́ kéékèèké. Èyí ni yóò mú iṣẹ́ rẹ rọrùn, wọn yóò sì máa ràn ọ́ lọ́wọ́ lórí ìdájọ́ ṣíṣe.
whiche schulen deme the puple in al tyme; sotheli what ever thing is grettere, telle thei to thee, and deme thei ooneli lesse thingis, and be it esiere to thee, whanne the burthun is departid in to othere men.
23 Bí ìwọ bá ṣe èyí, bí Ọlọ́run bá sì fi àṣẹ sí i fún ọ bẹ́ẹ̀, àárẹ̀ kò sì ní tètè mu ọ, àwọn ènìyàn wọ̀nyí yóò sì padà lọ ilé wọn ni àlàáfíà.”
If thou schalt do this, thou schalt fille the comaundement of God, and thou schalt mowe bere hise comaundementis; and al this puple schal turne ayen with pees to her places.
24 Mose fetísílẹ̀ sí àna rẹ̀, ó sì ṣe ohun gbogbo tí ó wí fún un.
And whanne these thingis weren herd, Moises dide alle thingis whiche Jetro counselide.
25 Mose sì yan àwọn ènìyàn tí wọ́n kún ojú òsùwọ̀n nínú gbogbo Israẹli; ó sì fi wọ́n jẹ olórí àwọn ènìyàn, olórí ẹgbẹẹ̀rún, olórí ọ̀rọ̀ọ̀rún, olórí àràádọ́ta, àti olórí mẹ́wàá mẹ́wàá.
And whanne noble men of al Israel weren chosun Moises ordeynede hem princis of the puple, tribunes, and centuriouns, and quinquagenaries, and denes,
26 Wọ́n sì ń ṣe ìdájọ́ àwọn ènìyàn ní ìgbà gbogbo. Wọ́n sì ń mú ẹjọ́ tó le tọ Mose wá; ṣùgbọ́n wọ́n ń dá ẹjọ́ tí kò le fúnra wọn.
whiche demeden the puple in al tyme; forsothe, whateuer thing was hardere, thei telden to Moises, and thei demeden esiere thingis oneli.
27 Mose sì jẹ́ kí àna rẹ̀ lọ ní ọ̀nà rẹ̀, Jetro sì padà sí ilẹ̀ ẹ rẹ̀.
And Moises lefte `his alie, which turnede ayen, and yede in to his lond.
