< Deuteronomy 11 >
1 Ẹ fẹ́ràn Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín, kí ẹ sì pa ìfẹ́ rẹ̀, ìlànà rẹ̀, òfin rẹ̀ àti àṣẹ rẹ̀ mọ́ ní ìgbà gbogbo.
Therefore you shall love the Lord your God, and shall observe his appointments, and his ordinances, and his commandments, and his judgements, always.
2 Ẹ rántí lónìí pé, kì í ṣe àwọn ọmọ yín, ni ó rí ìbáwí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín; títóbi rẹ̀, ọwọ́ agbára rẹ̀, nína ọwọ́ rẹ̀;
And you shall know this day; for [I speak] not to your children, who know not and have not seen the discipline of the Lord your God, and his wonderful works, and his strong hand, and his high arm,
3 iṣẹ́ àmì rẹ̀ àti ohun tí ó ṣe ní àárín àwọn ará Ejibiti, sí Farao ọba Ejibiti àti gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè rẹ̀.
and his miracles, and his wonders, which he wrought in the midst of Egypt on Pharao king of Egypt, and all his land;
4 Ohun tí ó ṣe sí àwọn jagunjagun Ejibiti, sí kẹ̀kẹ́ ogun àti ẹlẹ́ṣin rẹ̀: bí ó ṣe rì wọ́n sínú Òkun Pupa, bí wọ́n ṣe ń lé e yín tí Olúwa fi pa wọ́n run pátápátá títí di òní olónìí yìí.
and what he did to the host of the Egyptians, and to their chariots, and their cavalry, and their host; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overwhelm the face of them as they pursued after you, and the Lord destroyed them until this day;
5 Kì í ṣe àwọn ọmọ yín ni ó rí ohun tí ó ṣe fún un yín ní aginjù, títí ẹ fi dé ìhín yìí,
and all the things which he did to you in the wilderness until you came into this place;
6 ohun tí ó ṣe sí Datani àti Abiramu, àwọn ọmọ Eliabu, ẹ̀yà Reubeni, bí ilẹ̀ ti lanu ní ojú gbogbo ará Israẹli tí ó sì gbé wọn mì pẹ̀lú gbogbo ìdílé wọn, gbogbo àgọ́ ọ wọn àti gbogbo ohun alààyè tí ó jẹ́ tiwọn.
and all the things that he did to Dathan and Abiron the sons of Eliab the son of Ruben, whom the earth opening her mouth swallowed up, and their houses, and their tents, and all their substance that was with them, in the midst of all Israel:
7 Ṣùgbọ́n ojú u yín gan an ni ó rí gbogbo nǹkan ńlá wọ̀nyí tí Olúwa ti ṣe.
for your eyes have seen all the mighty works of the Lord, which he wrought amongst you today.
8 Nítorí náà, ẹ kíyèsi gbogbo àṣẹ tí mo ń fún yín lónìí, kí ẹ ba à lè lágbára àti lọ, kí ẹ sì gba ilẹ̀ náà tí ẹ ó la Jordani kọjá lọ.
And you shall keep all his commandments, as many as I command you today, that you may live, and be multiplied, and that you may go in and inherit the land, into which you go across Jordan to inherit it:
9 Kí ẹ ba à lè pẹ́ ní orí ilẹ̀ tí Olúwa ti búra fún àwọn baba ńlá a yín, láti fún àwọn àti àwọn ọmọ wọn: ilẹ̀ tí ó ń sàn fún wàrà àti oyin.
that you may live long upon the land, which the Lord sware to your fathers to give to them, and to their seed after them, a land flowing with milk and honey.
10 Ilẹ̀ tí ẹ̀ ń wọ̀ lọ láti gbà kò rí bí ilẹ̀ Ejibiti, níbi tí ẹ ti wá, níbi tó jẹ́ wí pé ẹsẹ̀ yín ni ẹ fi ń rìn lọ bomirin irúgbìn tí ẹ gbìn bí oko ẹ̀fọ́.
For the land into which you go to inherit it, is not as the land of Egypt, whence you came out, whenever they sow the seed, and water it with their feet, as a garden of herbs:
11 Ṣùgbọ́n ilẹ̀ tí ẹ ó la Jordani kọjá láti gbà, jẹ́ ilẹ̀ olókè àti pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ tí òjò ń rọ̀ sí latọ̀run.
but the land into which you go to inherit it, is a land of mountains and plains; it shall drink water of the rain of heaven.
12 Ilẹ̀ tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín ń mójútó ni, ojú Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín sì ń fi ìgbà gbogbo wà lórí rẹ̀, láti ìbẹ̀rẹ̀ ọdún dé òpin ọdún.
A land which the Lord your God surveys continually, the eyes of the Lord your God are upon it from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.
13 Nítorí náà, bí ẹ bá gbọ́rọ̀ sí àṣẹ tí mo fún un yín lónìí tọkàntọkàn: tí ẹ fẹ́ràn Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín, tí ẹ sì sìn ín, pẹ̀lú gbogbo àyà yín àti gbogbo ọkàn yín:
Now if you will indeed listen to all the commands which I charge you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart, and with all your soul,
14 nígbà náà, èmi yóò rọ òjò sórí ilẹ̀ ẹ yín lákòókò rẹ̀, àti òjò àkọ́rọ̀ àti ti àrọ̀kẹ́yìn, kí ẹ ba à lè kórè oúnjẹ yín wọlé àní wáìnì tuntun àti òróró.
then he shall give to your land the early and latter rain in its season, and you shall bring in your corn, and your wine, and your oil.
15 Èmi yóò mú kí koríko hù lórí ilẹ̀ yín fún àwọn ohun ọ̀sìn in yín, ẹ ó sì jẹ, ẹ ó sì yó.
And he shall give food in your fields to your cattle; and when you have eaten and are full,

17 Nígbà náà ni ìbínú Olúwa yóò sì ru sí i yín, Òun yóò ti ìlẹ̀kùn ọ̀run kí òjò má ba à rọ̀, ilẹ̀ kì yóò sì so èso kankan, ẹ ó sì ṣègbé ní ilẹ̀ rere tí Olúwa fi fún un yín.
and the Lord be angry with you, and restrain the heaven; and there shall not be rain, and the earth shall not yield its fruit, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land, which the Lord has given you.
18 Ẹ fi gbogbo ọ̀rọ̀ mi wọ̀nyí sí àyà a yín, àti ọkàn an yín, ẹ so wọ́n bí àmì sórí ọwọ́ yín, kí ẹ sì so wọ́n mọ́ iwájú orí yín.
And you shall store these words in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and it shall be fixed before your eyes.
19 Ẹ máa fi wọ́n kọ́ àwọn ọmọ yín, ẹ máa sọ̀rọ̀ nípa wọn bí ẹ bá jókòó nínú ilé, àti ní ojú ọ̀nà bí ẹ bá ń rìn lọ, bí ẹ bá sùn àti bí ẹ bá jí.
And you shall teach them to your children, so as to speak about them when you sit in the house, and when you walk by the way, and when you sleep, and when you rise up.
20 Kí ìwọ kí ó kọ wọ́n sára òpó ilé rẹ̀, àti sí ara ìlẹ̀kùn ọ̀nà òde rẹ.
And you shall write them on the lintels of your houses, and on your gates;

that your days may be long, and the days of your children, upon the land which the Lord sware to your fathers to give to them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
22 Bí ẹ bá fi ara balẹ̀ kíyèsi àwọn òfin tí mo ń fún un yín, láti tẹ̀lé, láti fẹ́ Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín, láti máa rìn ní gbogbo ọ̀nà rẹ̀ àti láti dìímú ṣinṣin:
And it shall come to pass that if you will indeed listen to all these commands, which I charge you to observe this day, to love the Lord our God, and to walk in all his ways, and to cleave close to him;
23 Olúwa yóò sì lé gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè wọ̀nyí kúrò níwájú u yín. Ẹ ó sì gba orílẹ̀-èdè tí ó lágbára tí ó sì tóbi jù yín lọ.
then the Lord shall cast out all these nations before you, and you shall inherit great nations and stronger than yourselves.
24 Gbogbo ibi tí ẹ bá fi ẹsẹ̀ ẹ yín tẹ̀ ni yóò jẹ́ tiyín, ilẹ̀ ẹ yín yóò gbilẹ̀ láti aginjù dé Lebanoni, àti láti odò Eufurate dé Òkun Ńlá.
Every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread shall be your; from the wilderness and Antilibanus, and from the great river, the river Euphrates, even as far as the west sea shall be your coasts.
25 Kò sí ẹni náà tí yóò lè kò yín lójú ìjà, Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín yóò fi ẹ̀rù àti ìwárìrì i yín sórí gbogbo ilẹ̀ náà bí ó ti ṣèlérí fún un yín ní gbogbo ibi tí ẹ bá lọ.
No one shall stand before you; and the Lord your God will put the fear of you and the dread of you on the face of all the land, on which you shall tread, as he told you.
26 Ẹ kíyèsi i, mo fi ìbùkún àti ègún lélẹ̀ níwájú u yín lónìí:
Behold, I set before you this day the blessing and the curse;

and the curse, if you do not listen to the commands of the Lord our God, as many as I command you this day, and you wander from the way which I have commanded you, having gone to serve other gods, which you know not.
29 Nígbà tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín bá ti mú un yín dé ilẹ̀ náà tí ẹ ń wọ̀ láti gbà, kí ẹ kéde àwọn ìbùkún náà ní orí òkè Gerisimu, kí ẹ sì kéde àwọn ègún ní orí òkè Ebali.
And it shall come to pass when the Lord your God shall have brought you into the land into which you go over to inherit it, then you shall put blessing on mount Garizin, and the curse upon mount Gaebal.
30 Bí ẹ ti mọ̀ pé àwọn òkè wọ̀nyí wà ní ìkọjá a Jordani ní apá ìwọ̀-oòrùn lójú ọ̀nà lọ sí ìhà ìlà-oòrùn, ní ẹ̀gbẹ́ igi ńlá igbó More, ní ilẹ̀ àwọn ará a Kenaani, tí wọ́n ń gbé ní aginjù, ni agbègbè Gilgali.
Behold! are not these beyond Jordan, behind, westward in the land of Chanaan, which lies westward near Golgol, by the high oak?
31 Ẹ ti ṣetán láti la Jordani kọjá láti lè gba ilẹ̀ náà tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín ń fún un yín. Nígbà tí ẹ bá gbà á, tí ẹ bá sì ń gbé ibẹ̀,
For you are passing over Jordan, to go in and inherit the land, which the Lord our God gives you to inherit always, and you shall dwell in it.
32 ẹ rí i dájú pé ẹ̀ ń gbọ́rọ̀ sí gbogbo ìlànà àti òfin tí mo ń gbé kalẹ̀ fún un yín lónìí.
And you shall take heed to do all his ordinances, and these judgements, as many as I set before you today.
