< Daniel 4 >

1 Nebukadnessari ọba, sí gbogbo ènìyàn, orílẹ̀ àti onírúurú èdè, tí ó ń gbé ní àgbáyé. Kí àlàáfíà máa pọ̀ sí i fún un yín. Kí ẹ ṣe rere tó pọ̀!
Nebuchadnezzar king the to all peoples the nations the and languages the which ([are] dwelling *Q(k)*) in all earth the peace your may it increase.
2 Ó jẹ́ ìdùnnú fún mi láti fi iṣẹ́ àmì àti ìyanu tí Ọlọ́run Ọ̀gá-Ògo ti ṣe fún mi hàn.
Signs the and wonders the which he has done with me God (Most High the *Q(k)*) it seemed good before me to declare.
3 Báwo ni àmì rẹ̀ ti tóbi tó,
[are] signs His how much! great and [are] wonders his how much! strong kingdom his [is] a kingdom of perpetuity and dominion his [is] with generation and generation.
4 Èmi Nebukadnessari wà ní ààfin mi, pẹ̀lú ìtẹ́lọ́rùn àti àlàáfíà.
I Nebuchadnezzar at ease I was in house my and flourishing in palace my.
5 Mo lá àlá kan èyí tí ó bà mí lẹ́rù. Nígbà tí mo wà lórí ibùsùn mi, ìran tí ó jáde lọ́kàn mi dẹ́rùbà mí.
A dream I saw and it made afraid me and imaginings on bed my and [the] visions of head my they alarmed me.
6 Nígbà náà, ni mo pàṣẹ pé kí a mú gbogbo àwọn amòye Babeli wá, kí wọn wá sọ ìtumọ̀ àlá náà fún mi.
And from me it was made a decree to bring in before me all [the] wise men of Babylon that [the] interpretation of dream the they will make known to me.
7 Nígbà tí àwọn apidán, àwọn apògèdè, àwọn awòràwọ̀ àti àwọn aláfọ̀ṣẹ wá, mo sọ àlá náà fún wọn, ṣùgbọ́n wọn kò le è sọ ìtumọ̀ àlá náà fún mi.
Then ([were] going in *Q(k)*) magicians the conjurers the (Chaldeans the *Q(K)*) and astrologers the and dream the [was] saying I before them and interpretation its not [they were] making known to me.

And until at last he came in before me Daniel who name his [is] Belteshazzar like [the] name of god my and who a spirit of gods holy [is] in him and dream the before him I said.

And [the] visions of head my on bed my seeing I was and lo! a tree in [the] midst of land the and height its [was] great.
11 Igi náà tóbi, ó sì lágbára, orí rẹ̀ sì ń kan ọ̀run; a sì rí i títí dé òpin ayé.
It grew great tree the and it grew strong and height its it reached to heavens the and [the] sight of it [was] to [the] end of all land the.
12 Ewé rẹ̀ lẹ́wà, èso rẹ̀ sì pọ̀, ó sì ń pèsè oúnjẹ fún gbogbo ènìyàn. Abẹ́ ẹ rẹ̀ ni àwọn ẹranko igbó fi ṣe ibùgbé, àwọn ẹyẹ ojú ọ̀run sì ń gbé ní ẹ̀ka rẹ̀, nínú rẹ̀ ni gbogbo alààyè ti ń jẹ.
Foliage its [was] beautiful and fruit its [was] plentiful and food for all [was] on it under it it had shade - [the] animal[s] of field the and in branches its (they nested *Q(K)*) [the] birds of heavens the and from it it fed all flesh.
13 “Lórí ibùsùn mi, mo rí ìran náà, olùṣọ́ kan dúró síwájú u mi, àní ẹni mímọ́ kan, ó ń bọ̀ wá láti ọ̀run
Seeing I was in [the] visions of head my on bed my and lo! a watcher and a holy [one] from heavens the [was] coming down.
14 ó kígbe sókè wí pé, ‘Gé igi náà kí o sì gé àwọn ẹ̀ka rẹ̀ kúrò; gbọn ewé rẹ̀ ká, kí o sì fọ́n èso rẹ̀ dànù. Jẹ́ kí àwọn ẹranko tí ó wà lábẹ́ rẹ̀ sá àti àwọn ẹyẹ tí ó wà ní ẹ̀ka rẹ̀ kúrò.
[he was] proclaiming With power and as follows [he was] saying cut down! tree the and cut off! branches its strip off! foliage its and scatter! fruit its let it flee animal[s] the from under it and birds the from branches its.
15 Ṣùgbọ́n fi kùkùté àti gbòǹgbò rẹ̀ tí a fi irin àti idẹ dè ṣẹ́kù sórí ilẹ̀ àti sí orí koríko igbó. “‘Jẹ́ kí ìrì ọ̀run sẹ̀ sí i lára, kí ó sì jẹ́ kí ìpín in rẹ̀ wà pẹ̀lú àwọn ẹranko igbó láàrín ilẹ̀ ayé.
Nevertheless [the] stump of roots its in ground the leave! and with a fetter of iron and bronze in grass the of field the and with [the] dew of heavens the let it become wet and [be] with animal[s] the portion its in [the] grass of earth the.
16 Jẹ́ kí ọkàn rẹ̀ kí ó yí padà kúrò ní ti ènìyàn, kí a sì fún un ní ọkàn ẹranko, títí ìgbà méje yóò fi kọjá lórí i rẹ̀.

17 “‘Olùṣọ́ ni ó gbé ìpinnu náà jáde, àṣẹ sì wá láti ọ̀dọ̀ ẹni mímọ́, kí gbogbo alààyè le mọ̀ wí pé, Ọ̀gá-ògo ni olórí ìjọba ènìyàn, ó sì ń fi fún ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó wù ú, òun sì ń gbé onírẹ̀lẹ̀ lórí i wọn.’

18 “Èyí ni àlá tí èmi Nebukadnessari ọba lá. Ní ìsinsin yìí ìwọ Belṣassari, sọ ohun tí ó túmọ̀ sí fún mi, nítorí kò sí amòye kan ní ìjọba mi, tí ó lè sọ ìtumọ̀ rẹ̀ fún mi. Ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ lè sọ ìtumọ̀ rẹ̀, nítorí tí ẹ̀mí Ọlọ́run mímọ́ wà ní inú rẹ.”
This dream the I saw I king the Nebuchadnezzar (and you *Q(k)*) O Belteshazzar interpretation its - tell! as to because that - all [the] wise men of kingdom my not [are] able interpretation the to make known to me (and you *Q(k)*) [are] able who a spirit of gods holy [is] in you.

Then Daniel who name his [was] Belteshazzar he was appalled about a moment one and thoughts his they alarmed him [was] replying king the and [was] saying O Belteshazzar dream the and interpretation its may not it alarm you [was] replying Belteshazzar and [was] saying (O lord my *Q(k)*) dream the ([be] for enemy your *Q(K)*) and interpretation its ([be] for adversaries your. *Q(k)*)
20 Igi tí ìwọ rí, tí ó dàgbà, tí ó sì lágbára, tí orí rẹ̀ sì ń kan ọ̀run, tí ó lẹ́wà àti ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ èso, tí ó ń pèsè oúnjẹ fún gbogbo ènìyàn, tí ó ṣe ààbò lórí ẹranko igbó àti èyí tí ẹ̀ka rẹ̀ pèsè ààyè fún ẹyẹ ojú ọ̀run.
Tree the which you saw which it grew great and it grew strong and height its it reached to heavens the and [the] sight of it [was] to all land the.
21 Èyí tí ewé e rẹ̀ lẹ́wà, tí èso rẹ̀ si pọ̀, nínú èyí tí oúnjẹ sì wà fún gbogbo ẹ̀dá, lábẹ́ èyí tí àwọn ẹranko igbó ń gbé, lórí ẹ̀ka èyí ti àwọn ẹyẹ ojú ọ̀run ní ibùgbé wọn.
And foliage its [was] beautiful and fruit its [was] plentiful and food for all [was] on it under it it dwelt [the] animal[s] of field the and in branches its they dwelt [the] birds of heavens the.
22 Ìwọ ọba ni igi náà, ìwọ ti dàgbà, o sì lágbára, títóbi i rẹ ga ó sì kan ọ̀run, ìjọba rẹ sì gbilẹ̀ títí dé òpin ayé.

23 “Ìwọ ọba, rí ìránṣẹ́ ẹni mímọ́ kan, tí ó ń bọ̀ láti ọ̀run ó sì sọ pé, ‘Gé igi náà kí o sì run ún, ṣùgbọ́n fi kùkùté rẹ tí a dè pẹ̀lú irin àti idẹ sílẹ̀ nínú koríko igbó, nígbà tí gbòǹgbò rẹ̀ sì wà nínú ilẹ̀ kí o sì jẹ́ kí ìrì ọ̀run sẹ̀ sórí i rẹ̀, jẹ́ kí ìpín in rẹ̀ wà láàrín ẹranko búburú títí ìgbà méje yóò fi kọjá lórí i rẹ̀.’
And that he saw king the a watcher and a holy [one] coming down - from heavens the and saying cut down! tree the and destroy it nevertheless [the] stump of roots its in ground the leave! and with a fetter of iron and bronze in grass the of field the and with [the] dew of heavens the let it become wet and [be] with [the] animal[s] of field the portion its until that seven times they will pass over it.
24 “Èyí ni ìtumọ̀ àlá rẹ ọba àti àṣẹ tí Ọ̀gá-ògo mú wá sórí ọba olúwa mi.

25 A ó lé ọ jáde kúrò láàrín ènìyàn, ìwọ yóò sì máa gbé láàrín ẹranko búburú, ìwọ yóò jẹ koríko bí i màlúù, ìrì ọ̀run yóò sì sẹ̀ sára rẹ. Ìgbà méje yóò sì kọjá lórí rẹ, títí ìwọ yóò fi mọ̀ wí pé Ọ̀gá-ògo ń jẹ ọba lórí ìjọba ènìyàn, ó sì ń fi fún ẹni tí ó bá wù ú.
And you [they will be] chasing away from humankind and with [the] animal[s] of field the it will be dwelling place your and grass like oxen - to you they will feed and from [the] dew of heavens the you [they will be] making wet and seven times they will pass (over you *Q(k)*) until that you will know that [is] having mastery (Most High the *Q(k)*) over [the] kingdom of humankind and to whomever whom he will be pleased he will give it.
26 Bí wọ́n ṣe pàṣẹ pé kí wọn fi kùkùté àti gbòǹgbò igi náà sílẹ̀, èyí túmọ̀ sí wí pé a ó dá ìjọba rẹ padà fún ọ lẹ́yìn ìgbà tí o bá ti mọ̀ wí pé, Ọ̀run jẹ ọba.

32 A ó lé ọ kúrò láàrín àwọn ènìyàn, ìwọ yóò sì lọ máa gbé àárín àwọn ẹranko igbó; ìwọ yóò jẹ koríko bí i màlúù, ìgbà méje yóò kọjá lórí i rẹ títí ìwọ yóò fi mọ̀ wí pé, Ọ̀gá-ògo jẹ ọba lórí ìjọba ènìyàn àti pé ó ń fi fún ẹni tí ó bá wù ú.”
And away from humankind you [they are] about to chase and [will be] with [the] animal[s] of field the dwelling place your grass like oxen to you they will feed and seven times they will pass (over you *Q(k)*) until that you will know that [is] having mastery (Most High the *Q(k)*) over [the] kingdom of humankind and to whomever whom he will be pleased he will give it.

At it moment the word the it was fulfilled on Nebuchadnezzar and away from humankind he was chased and grass like oxen he ate and from [the] dew of heavens the body his it became wet until that hair his like eagles it grew long and nails his [were] like birds.
34 Ní òpin ìgbà náà, èmi, Nebukadnessari gbé ojú mi sókè sí ọ̀run, iyè mi sì sọjí. Mo fi ọpẹ́ fún Ọ̀gá-ògo; mo fi ọlá àti ògo fún ẹni tí ó wà láéláé.
And to [the] end of days the I Nebuchadnezzar eye my - to heavens the I lifted and understanding my on me it returned (and Most High the *Q(k)*) I blessed and [the] [one] living of perpetuity I praised and I glorified that dominion his [is] a dominion of perpetuity and kingdom his [is] with generation and generation.

At it time the understanding my - it returned to me and to [the] honor of kingdom my majesty my and splendor my it returned to me and me counselors my and nobles my they sought and over kingdom my it was established and greatness surpassing it was added to me.
37 Báyìí, èmi, Nebukadnessari fi ọpẹ́, mo sì gbé Ọlọ́run ga, mo sì fi ògo fún ọba ọ̀run, nítorí pé gbogbo nǹkan tí ó ṣe ló dára, gbogbo ọ̀nà rẹ̀ sì tọ́. Gbogbo àwọn tó sì ń rìn ní ìgbéraga ni ó le rẹ̀ sílẹ̀.
Now I Nebuchadnezzar [am] praising and [am] lifting up and [am] glorifying [the] king of heavens the who all deeds his [are] truth and ways his [are] justice and [those] who [are] walking in pride [he is] able to bring low.
