< Daniel 12 >

1 “Ní àkókò náà, ni Mikaeli, ọmọ-aládé ńlá, ẹni tí o ń dáàbò bo àwọn ènìyàn an rẹ̀ yóò dìde. Àkókò ìpọ́njú yóò wà, irú èyí tí kò tí ì ṣẹlẹ̀ rí láti ìbẹ̀rẹ̀ àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè títí di àkókò náà. Ṣùgbọ́n ní àkókò náà àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀, gbogbo àwọn tí a bá ti rí orúkọ wọn nínú ìwé ni a ó gbàlà.
“And at that time Michael stands up, the great head, who is standing up for the sons of your people, and there has been a time of distress, such as has not been since there has been a nation until that time, and at that time your people escape, everyone who is found written in the scroll.
2 Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ àwọn tí ó sùn nínú erùpẹ̀ ilẹ̀ ni yóò jí: àwọn mìíràn sí ìyè àìnípẹ̀kun, àwọn tókù sí ìtìjú àti sí ẹ̀gàn àìnípẹ̀kun.
And the multitude of those sleeping in the dust of the ground awake, some to continuous life, and some to reproaches—to continuous abhorrence.
3 Àwọn tí ó jẹ́ ọlọ́gbọ́n yóò máa tàn bí ìmọ́lẹ̀ ọ̀run, àti àwọn tí ó ń tọ́nisọ́nà sí òdodo, yóò máa tàn bí ìràwọ̀ láé àti láéláé.
And those teaching shine as the brightness of the expanse, and those justifying the multitude as stars for all time and forever.”
4 Ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ Daniẹli, pa ìwé náà dé kí o sì pa ọ̀rọ̀ ọ rẹ̀ mọ́ títí àkókò ìgbẹ̀yìn. Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ yóò máa lọ sí ìhín sí ọ̀hún láti jẹ́ kí ìmọ̀ wọn di púpọ̀.”
“And you, O Daniel, hide the things, and seal the scroll until the time of the end, many go to and fro, and knowledge is multiplied.”
5 Nígbà náà, ni èmi Daniẹli, wò, ní iwájú mi àwọn méjì mìíràn dúró, ọ̀kan dúró sí apá ìhín ní etí bèbè odò ẹnìkan náà ní apá òdìkejì ọ̀hún etí i bèbè.
“And I have looked—I, Daniel—and behold, two others are standing, one here at the edge of the flood and one there at the edge of the flood,
6 Ọ̀kan lára wọn sọ fún ọkùnrin tí ó wọ aṣọ àlà, ẹni tí ó wà lórí omi odò pé, “Báwo ni yóò ṣe pẹ́ tó kí àwọn nǹkan ìyanu wọ̀nyí tó wá sí ìmúṣẹ?”
and he says to the one clothed in linen, who [is] on the waters of the flood, Until when [is] the end of these wonders?
7 Ọkùnrin tí ó wọ aṣọ àlà, ẹni tí ó wà lórí omi odò, gbé ọwọ́ ọ̀tún rẹ̀ àti ọwọ́ òsì rẹ̀, mo gbọ́ tí ó fi ẹni tí ó wà títí láé búra, ó sọ wí pé, “Yóò ṣe ní àkókò kan, àkókò méjì àti ààbọ̀. Nígbà tí agbára àwọn ẹni mímọ́ yóò ti fọ́ tán pátápátá, gbogbo nǹkan wọ̀nyí yóò sì parí.”
And I hear the one clothed in linen, who [is] on the waters of the flood, and he lifts up his right hand and his left to the heavens, and swears by Him who is living for all time, that, After a time, times, and a half, and at the completion of the scattering of the power of the holy people, all these are finished.
8 Èmi gbọ́, ṣùgbọ́n kò yé mi. Nígbà náà ni mo béèrè pé, “Olúwa mi, kí ni yóò jẹ́ àbábọ̀ àwọn nǹkan wọ̀nyí?”
And I have heard, and I do not understand, and I say, O my lord, what [is] the latter end of these?
9 Ó sì dáhùn pé, “Máa lọ ní ọ̀nà rẹ, Daniẹli nítorí tí a ti pa ọ̀rọ̀ náà dé, a sì ti fi èdìdì dì í di ìgbà ìkẹyìn.
And he says, Go, Daniel; for hidden and sealed [are] the things until the time of the end.
10 Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ni a ó fọ̀ mọ́, wọn yóò wà láìlábàwọ́n, a ó sì tún wọn ṣe, ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ẹni búburú yóò máa ṣe búburú lọ, kò sí ẹni búburú tí òye yóò yé ṣùgbọ́n òye yóò yé àwọn ọlọ́gbọ́n.
Purify themselves, indeed, make themselves white, indeed, many are refined: and the wicked have done wickedly, and none of the wicked understand, and those acting wisely understand;
11 “Láti àkókò tí a ó mú ẹbọ ojoojúmọ́ kúrò, tí a ó sì gbé ìríra tí ó ń fa ìsọdahoro kalẹ̀ yóò sì jẹ́ ẹgbẹ̀rún àti igba lé àádọ́rùn-ún ọjọ́.
and from the time of the turning aside of the continuous [sacrifice], and to the giving out of the desolating abomination, [are] one thousand, two hundred, and ninety days.
12 Ìbùkún ni fún ẹni tí ó dúró, ti ó sì di òpin ẹgbẹ̀rún àti ọ̀ọ́dúnrún lé àrùndínlógójì ọjọ́.
O the blessedness of him who is waiting earnestly, and comes to the one thousand, three hundred, thirty-five days.
13 “Ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ, máa lọ ní ọ̀nà rẹ, títí di òpin. Ìwọ yóò sinmi, àti ní òpin ọjọ́ ìwọ yóò dìde láti gba èrè rẹ.”
And you, go on to the end, then you rest, and stand in your lot at the end of the days.”
