Amos 6
1 Ègbé ni fún ẹ̀yin tí ará rọ̀ ní Sioni àti ẹ̀yin tí ẹ wà ní abẹ́ ààbò ní òkè Samaria àti ẹ̀yin olókìkí orílẹ̀-èdè tí ẹ̀yin ènìyàn Israẹli máa ń tọ̀ ọ́ wá.
Woe to them that are at ease in Zion and trust in the moutaine of Samaria, which were famous at the beginning of the nations: and the house of Israel came to them.
2 Ẹ lọ Kalne kí ẹ lọ wò ó kí ẹ sí tí ibẹ̀ lọ sí Hamati ìlú ńlá a nì. Kí ẹ sì tún sọ̀kalẹ̀ lọ Gati ní ilẹ̀ Filistini. Ǹjẹ́ wọ́n ha dára ju ìpínlẹ̀ yín méjèèjì lọ? Ǹjẹ́ a ha rí ilẹ̀ tó tóbi ju tiyín lọ bí?
Goe you vnto Calneh, and see: and from thence goe you to Hamath the great: then goe downe to Gath of the Philistims: be they better then these kingdomes? or the border of their land greater then your border,
3 Ẹ̀yin sún ọjọ́ ibi síwájú, ẹ sì mú ìjọba òǹrorò súnmọ́ tòsí.
Ye that put farre away the euill day, and approch to the seate of iniquitie?
4 Ẹ̀yin sùn lé ibùsùn tí a fi eyín erin ṣe ẹ sì tẹ́ ara sílẹ̀ ni orí àwọn ibùsùn ẹyin pa èyí tí o dára nínú àwọn ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn yín jẹ ẹ sì ń pa àwọn ọ̀dọ́ màlúù láàrín agbo wọn jẹ.
They lie vpon beddes of yuorie, and stretch themselues vpon their beddes, and eate the lambes of the flocke, and the calues out of the stall.
5 Ẹ̀yin ń lo ohun èlò orin bí i Dafidi ẹ sì ń ṣe àwọn àpilẹ̀rọ àwọn ohun èlò orin.
They sing to the sounde of the viole: they inuent to themselues instruments of musike like Dauid.
6 Ẹ̀yin mu wáìnì ẹ̀kún ọpọ́n kan àti ìkunra tí o dára jùlọ ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin kò káàánú ilé Josẹfu tí ó di ahoro.
They drinke wine in bowles, and anoynt themselues with the chiefe ointments, but no man is sory for the affliction of Ioseph.
7 Nítorí náà, àwọn ni yóò lọ sí ìgbèkùn pẹ̀lú àwọn tí ó ti kó lọ sí ìgbèkùn àsè àwọn tí ń ṣe àṣelékè ni a ó mú kúrò.
Therefore nowe shall they go captiue with the first that go captiue, and the sorow of them that stretched themselues, is at hand.
8 Olúwa Olódùmarè ti búra fúnra rẹ̀, Olúwa Ọlọ́run àwọn ọmọ-ogun sì ti wí pé: “Mo kórìíra ìgbéraga Jakọbu n kò sì ní inú dídùn sí odi alágbára rẹ̀, Èmi yóò sì fa ìlú náà lé wọn lọ́wọ́ àti ohun gbogbo tí ó wà nínú rẹ̀.”
The Lord God hath sworne by himselfe, saith the Lord God of hostes, I abhorre the excellencie of Iaakob, and hate his palaces: therefore wil I deliuer vp the citie with all that is therein.
9 Bí ọkùnrin mẹ́wàá bá ṣẹ́kù nínú ilé kan, àwọn náà yóò kú.
And if there remaine ten men in one house, they shall die.
10 Bí ẹbí tí ó yẹ kí ó gbé òkú wọn jáde fún sínsin bá wọlé, bí o ba sì béèrè pé ǹjẹ́ ẹnìkan wa tí ó fi ara pamọ́ níbẹ̀, “Ǹjẹ́ ẹnìkankan wà lọ́dọ̀ yín?” tí ó bá sì dáhùn wí pé, “Rárá,” nígbà náà ni yóò wí pé, “Pa ẹnu rẹ mọ́ àwa kò gbọdọ̀ dárúkọ Olúwa.”
And his vncle shall take him vp and burne him to cary out the bones out of the house, and shall say vnto him, that is by ye sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? And he shall say, None. Then shall he say, Holde thy tongue: for we may not remember the Name of the Lord.
11 Nítorí Olúwa tí pa àṣẹ náà, Òun yóò sì wó ilé ńlá náà lulẹ̀ túútúú, àti àwọn ilé kéékèèké sí wẹ́wẹ́.
For behold, the Lord commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the litle house with clefts.
12 Ǹjẹ́ ẹṣin a máa sáré lórí àpáta bí? Ǹjẹ́ ènìyàn a máa fi akọ màlúù kọ ilẹ̀ níbẹ̀? Ṣùgbọ́n ẹ̀yin ti yí òtítọ́ padà sí májèlé ẹ sì ti sọ èso òdodo di ìkorò.
Shal horses runne vpon the rocke? or wil one plowe there with oxen? for yee haue turned iudgement into gall, and the fruite of righteousnes into wormewood.
13 Ẹ̀yin yọ̀ torí ìṣẹ́gun lórí Lo-Debari, ẹ̀yin sì wí pé, “Ṣé kì í ṣe agbára wa ni àwa fi gba Karnaimu?”
Ye reioyce in a thing of nought: yee say, Haue not wee gotten vs hornes by our owne strength?
14 Nítorí Olúwa Ọlọ́run àwọn ọmọ-ogun wí pé, “Èmi yóò gbé orílẹ̀-èdè kan dìde sí ọ ìwọ Israẹli, wọn yóò pọ́n yín lójú ní gbogbo ọ̀nà, láti Lebo-Hamati, títí dé pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ Arabah.”
But behold, I wil raise vp against you a nation, O house of Israel, sayeth the Lord God of hostes: and they shall afflict you, from the entring in of Hamath vnto the riuer of the wildernes.
