< Amos 4 >

1 Ẹ gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ yìí, ẹ̀yin màlúù Baṣani lórí òkè Samaria, ẹ̀yin obìnrin tí ó ń ni tálákà lára, tí ó ń tẹ aláìní mọ́lẹ̀, tí ó wí fún ọkọ rẹ̀, “Gbé wá kí a sì mu!”
Hear the word this O cows of Bashan who [are] on [the] mountain of Samaria who oppress poor [people] who crush needy [people] who say to masters their bring! so we may drink.
2 Olúwa Olódùmarè ti fi ìwà mímọ́ rẹ̀ búra: “Àkókò náà yóò dé nítòótọ́ nígbà tí a ó fi ìwọ̀ mú un yín lọ, ẹni tí ó kẹ́yìn pẹ̀lú ìwọ̀ ẹja.
He has sworn [the] Lord Yahweh by holiness his for here! days [are] coming on you and someone will take away you with barbs and posterity your with hooks of fishing.
3 Ẹni kọ̀ọ̀kan yín yóò jáde lọ gba àárín odi yíya a ó sì lé e yín sí Harmoni,” ni Olúwa wí.
And breaches you will go out each before herself and you will throw Harmon towards [the] utterance of Yahweh.
4 “Ẹ lọ sí Beteli láti dẹ́ṣẹ̀; ẹ lọ sí Gilgali kí ẹ sì dẹ́ṣẹ̀ sí i. Ẹ mú ẹbọ sísun yín láràárọ̀ wá, ìdámẹ́wàá yín ní ọdọọdún mẹ́ta.
Come Beth-el and transgress Gilgal increase to transgress and bring to the morning sacrifices your to three days tithes your.
5 Kí ẹ mú ọ̀rẹ́ ìdúpẹ́ ìyẹ̀fun ìwúkàrà ti a sun kí ẹ sì mú ọrẹ àtinúwá lọ fi wọ́n yangàn, ẹ̀yin ènìyàn Israẹli, nítorí èyí ni ẹ fẹ́ láti ṣe,” ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí.
And make smoke from a thing leavened a thank-offering and proclaim freewill offerings make [them] heard for thus you love O people of Israel [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh.
6 “Èmi fún un yín ní mímọ́ eyín ní gbogbo ìlú yín, àti àìní oúnjẹ ní gbogbo ibùgbé yín, síbẹ̀, ẹ̀yin kò yípadà sọ́dọ̀ mi,” ni Olúwa wí.
And also I I gave to you cleanness of teeth in all cities your and lack of bread in all places your and not you returned to me [the] utterance of Yahweh.
7 “Àti pẹ̀lú mo mú òjò dúró nígbà tí ìkórè ku oṣù mẹ́ta. Mo rán òjò sí ibùgbé kan ṣùgbọ́n kò rọ̀ sí ìlú mìíràn. Oko kan ní òjò; àwọn mìíràn kò ní ó sì gbẹ.
And also I I withheld from you the rain in yet three months [were] to the harvest and I sent rain on a city one and on a city one not I sent rain a portion of ground one it was rained on and a portion of ground which not it sent rain on it it dried up.
8 Àwọn ènìyàn ń rìn láti ìlú kan sí ìlú mìíràn fún omi wọn kò rí mu tẹ́ wọn lọ́rùn, síbẹ̀ ẹ̀yin kò padà sí ọ̀dọ̀ mi,” ni Olúwa wí.
And they staggered two three cities to a city one to drink water and not they were satisfied and not you returned to me [the] utterance of Yahweh.
9 “Lọ́pọ̀ ìgbà ni mo kọlu ọgbà àti ọgbà àjàrà yín mo fi ìrẹ̀dànù àti ìmúwòdù lù wọ́n. Eṣú sì jẹ igi ọ̀pọ̀tọ́ àti igi olifi yín, síbẹ̀ ẹ̀yin kò yípadà sí mi,” ni Olúwa wí.
I struck you with blight and with mildew to make many gardens your and vineyards your and fig trees your and olive trees your it ate the locust and not you returned to me [the] utterance of Yahweh.
10 “Mo rán àjàkálẹ̀-ààrùn sí i yín bí mo ti ṣe sí Ejibiti. Mo fi idà pa àwọn ọ̀dọ́mọkùnrin yín. Pẹ̀lú àwọn ẹṣin tí a kó ní ìgbèkùn. Mo kún imú yín fún òórùn ibùdó yín, síbẹ̀ ẹ̀yin kò yípadà sí mi,” ni Olúwa wí.
I sent among you pestilence in [the] manner of Egypt I killed by the sword young men your with [the] capture of horses your and I caused to go up [the] stench of camp your in nose your and not you returned to me [the] utterance of Yahweh.
11 “Mo ti bì ṣubú nínú yín, bí Ọlọ́run ti bi Sodomu àti Gomorra ṣubú ẹ̀yin sì dàbí ògúnná tí a fa yọ kúrò nínú iná, síbẹ̀ ẹ̀yin kò yípadà sí mi,” ni Olúwa wí.
I overthrew among you like [the] overthrow of God Sodom and Gomorrah and you were like a piece of firewood plucked out (from [the] burning *L(abh)*) and not you returned to me [the] utterance of Yahweh.
12 “Nítorí náà, èyí ni ohun tí èmi yóò ṣe sí i yín, Israẹli, àti nítorí tí èmi ó ṣe èyí sí i yín, ẹ múra láti pàdé Ọlọ́run yín, ẹ̀yin Israẹli.”
Therefore thus I will do to you O Israel consequence for this I will do to you be prepared to meet God your O Israel.
13 Ẹni tí ó dá àwọn òkè tí ó dá afẹ́fẹ́ tí ó sì fi èrò rẹ̀ hàn sí ènìyàn, ẹni tí ó yípadà sí òkùnkùn tí ó sì tẹ ibi gíga ayé. Olúwa Ọlọ́run àwọn ọmọ-ogun ni orúkọ rẹ̀.
For here! [one who] formed mountains and [one who] created wind and [one who] tells to humankind what? [is] thought his [one who] makes dawn darkness and [one who] treads on [the] high places of [the] earth [is] Yahweh God of hosts name his.
