< 2 Kings 21 >

1 Manase jẹ́ ẹni ọdún méjìlá nígbà tí ó bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí ìjọba, ó sì jẹ ọba ní Jerusalẹmu fún ọdún márùndínlọ́gọ́ta. Orúkọ ìyá rẹ̀ sì ni Hẹfisiba.
Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Hephzibah.
2 Ó sì ṣe búburú ní ojú Olúwa, ó sì tẹ̀lé iṣẹ́ ìríra tí àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè tí Olúwa lé jáde níwájú àwọn ọmọ Israẹli.
He did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, after the abominations of the nations whom Jehovah cast out before the children of Israel.
3 Ó sì tún ibi gíga tí baba rẹ̀ Hesekiah tí ó parun kọ́. Ó sì tún gbé pẹpẹ Baali dìde, ó sì ṣe ère òrìṣà Aṣerah, gẹ́gẹ́ bí Ahabu ọba Israẹli ti ṣe. Ó sì tẹríba sí gbogbo ogun ọ̀run, ó sì ń sìn wọ́n.
For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made an Asherah, as did Ahab king of Israel, and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served them.
4 Ó sì kọ́ pẹpẹ nínú ilé tí a kọ́ fún Olúwa, èyí tí Olúwa ti sọ pé, “Ní Jerusalẹmu ni èmi yóò kọ orúkọ mi sí.”
He built altars in the house of Jehovah, of which Jehovah said, "I will put my name in Jerusalem."
5 Ní àgbàlá méjèèjì ilé Olúwa, ó sì kọ́ pẹpẹ fún gbogbo àwọn ìrúbọ nínú ilé, ṣe iṣẹ́ àkíyèsí àfọ̀ṣẹ, ó sì béèrè lọ́wọ́ àwọn òkú àti àwọn oṣó. Ó sì ṣe ọ̀pọ̀ búburú ní ojú Olúwa, ó sì mú un bínú.
He built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of Jehovah.
6 Ó fi àwọn ọmọ ara rẹ̀ rú ẹbọ nínú iná, ó ń ṣe àkíyèsí àfọ̀ṣẹ, ó sì ń lo àlúpàyídà, ó sì ń bá àwọn òku àti oṣó lò. Ó ṣe ọ̀pọ̀ ohun búburú ní ojú Olúwa láti mú un bínú.
He made his son to pass through the fire, and practiced sorcery, and practiced divination, and consulted mediums, and spiritists: he worked much evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger.
7 Ó sì gbé ère fínfín òrìṣà Aṣerah tí ó ti ṣe, ó sì gbé e sínú ilé Olúwa, èyí tí Olúwa ti sọ fún Dafidi àti sí ọmọ rẹ̀ Solomoni, “Nínú ilé Olúwa yìí àti ní Jerusalẹmu, tí èmi ti yàn jáde lára gbogbo ẹ̀yà Israẹli, èmi yóò kọ orúkọ mi títí láéláé.
He set the engraved image of Asherah, that he had made, in the house of which Jehovah said to David and to Solomon his son, "In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name forever;
8 Èmi kò ní jẹ́ kí ẹsẹ̀ àwọn ọmọ Israẹli yẹ̀ kúrò láti ilẹ̀ tí èmi fi fún àwọn baba ńlá wọn tí ó bá jẹ́ wí pé wọn yóò ṣe àkíyèsí láti ṣe gbogbo ohun tí èmi ti paláṣẹ fún wọn kí wọn sì pa gbogbo òfin tí ìránṣẹ́ mi Mose fi fún wọn mọ́.”
neither will I cause the feet of Israel to wander any more out of the land which I gave their fathers, if only they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them."
9 Ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ènìyàn náà kò tẹ́tí. Manase tàn wọ́n síwájú, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kí wọ́n lè ṣe búburú ju gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè tí Olúwa tí parun níwájú àwọn ọmọ Israẹli lọ.
But they did not listen: and Manasseh seduced them to do that which is evil more than the nations did whom Jehovah destroyed before the children of Israel.
10 Olúwa sì wí nípasẹ̀ ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ wòlíì pé,
Jehovah spoke by his servants the prophets, saying,
11 “Manase ọba Juda ti ṣe ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ohun ìríra. Ó ti ṣe ohun búburú jùlọ ju àwọn ará Amori lọ ẹni tí ó ti wà ṣáájú rẹ̀ tí ó sì ti ṣáájú Juda sínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ pẹ̀lú àwọn ère rẹ̀.
"Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations, and has done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, who were before him, and has made Judah also to sin with his idols;
12 Nítorí náà èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run Israẹli, wí, Èmi le è lọ mú irú ibi báyìí wá sórí Jerusalẹmu àti Juda kí gbogbo etí olúkúlùkù tí ó gbọ́ nípa rẹ̀ le è hó.
therefore thus says Jehovah, the God of Israel, 'Look, I bring such disaster on Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever hears of it, both his ears shall tingle.
13 Èmi yóò sì nà okùn ìwọ̀n kan tí a lò lórí Jerusalẹmu àti lórí Samaria àti òjé ìdiwọ̀n ti a lò lórí ilé Ahabu. Èmi yóò sì nu Jerusalẹmu gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọkàn tí ń nu àwokòtò nù tí o ń nù un tí o sì ń dorí rẹ̀ kodò.
I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab; and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.
14 Èmi yóò sì kọ ìyókù àwọn ìní mi sílẹ̀ èmi yóò sì kó wọn lé àwọn ọ̀tá wọn lọ́wọ́. Wọn yóò sì di ìkógun àti ìjẹ fún gbogbo àwọn ọ̀tá wọn,
I will cast off the remnant of my inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies. They will become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
15 nítorí pé wọ́n ti ṣe búburú ní ojú mi, wọ́n sì ti mú mi bínú láti ọjọ́ tí baba ńlá wọn ti jáde wá láti Ejibiti títí di òní yìí.”
because they have done that which is evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even to this day.'"
16 Pẹ̀lúpẹ̀lú, Manase pẹ̀lú ta ẹ̀jẹ̀ aláìṣẹ̀ sílẹ̀ púpọ̀ tí ó kún Jerusalẹmu láti ìkangun dé ìkangun ní ẹ̀gbẹ́ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ tí ó ti mú Juda ṣẹ̀, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni, kí wọ́n lè ṣe ohun búburú ní ojú Olúwa.
Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, until he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; besides his sin with which he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah.
17 Ní ti iṣẹ́ ìyókù ti ìjọba Manase, àti gbogbo ohun tí ó ṣe, àti fún ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ tí ó ṣẹ̀, ṣé wọ́n kò kọ wọ́n sínú ìwé ìtàn àwọn ọba Juda?
Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
18 Manase sì sùn pẹ̀lú àwọn baba rẹ̀ wọ́n sì sin ín nínú ọgbà ààfin rẹ̀, ọgbà Ussa. Amoni ọmọ rẹ̀ sì jẹ ọba ní ipò rẹ̀.
Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his place.
19 Amoni jẹ́ ẹni ọdún méjìlélógún nígbà tí ó jẹ ọba. Orúkọ màmá rẹ̀ a sì máa jẹ́ Meṣulemeti ọmọbìnrin Harusi: ó wá láti Jotba, ó sì jẹ ọba ní Jerusalẹmu fún ọdún méjì.
Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign; and he reigned two years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Meshullemeth the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.
20 Ó sì ṣe búburú ní ojú Olúwa àti gẹ́gẹ́ bí baba rẹ̀ Manase ti ṣe.
He did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, as Manasseh his father did.
21 Ó rìn ní gbogbo ọ̀nà baba rẹ̀: Ó sì ń sin àwọn ère tí baba rẹ̀ ń sìn, ó sì ń tẹrí rẹ̀ ba fún wọn.
He walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshiped them:
22 Ó sì kọ Olúwa Ọlọ́run baba rẹ̀ sílẹ̀ kò sì rìn ní ọ̀nà ti Olúwa.
and he forsook Jehovah, the God of his fathers, and did not walk in the way of Jehovah.
23 Àwọn ìránṣẹ́ Amoni dìtẹ̀ lórí rẹ̀ wọ́n sì lu ọba pa ní àárín ilé rẹ̀.
The servants of Amon conspired against him, and put the king to death in his own house.
24 Nígbà náà àwọn ènìyàn ilẹ̀ náà pa gbogbo àwọn tí ó dìtẹ̀ sí ọba Amoni, wọ́n sì fi Josiah ọmọ rẹ̀ jẹ ọba ní ààyè rẹ̀.
But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place.
25 Àti gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìyókù iṣẹ́ ti ìjọba Amoni àti ohun tí ó ṣe, ṣé wọn kò kọ wọ́n sínú ìwé ìtàn àwọn ọba Juda?
Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
26 Wọ́n sì sin ín sínú isà òkú nínú ọgbà Ussa. Josiah ọmọ rẹ̀ sì jẹ ọba ní ipò rẹ̀.
He was buried in his tomb in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his place.
