< 2 Kings 20 >
1 Ní ayé ìgbà wọ̀n-ọn-nì Hesekiah ṣe àìsàn ó sì wà ní ojú ikú. Wòlíì Isaiah ọmọ Amosi lọ sọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀ ó sì wí pé, “Èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa sọ: tún ilé rẹ ṣe, ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ yóò kú; o kò ní í gbádùn.”
About that time was Hezekiah sicke vnto death: and the Prophet Isaiah the sonne of Amoz came to him, and said vnto him, Thus saith the Lord, Put thine house in an order: for thou shalt die, and not liue.
2 Hesekiah yí ojú rẹ̀ padà sí ògiri ó sì gbàdúrà sí Olúwa pé,
Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying,
3 “Rántí, Olúwa mi, bí èmi ṣe rìn níwájú rẹ àti pẹ̀lú bí èmi ṣe jẹ́ olóòtítọ́ àti pẹ̀lú gbogbo ọkàn ìfọkànsìn mi tí èmi sì ti ṣe ohun tí ó dára níwájú rẹ.” Hesekiah sọkún kíkorò.
I beseech thee, O Lord, remember nowe, howe I haue walked before thee in trueth and with a perfite heart, and haue done that which is good in thy sight: and Hezekiah wept sore.
4 Kí ó tó di wí pé Isaiah jáde kúrò ní àárín àgbàlá ààfin, ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa wá sí ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ̀ pé:
And afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle of the court, the worde of the Lord came to him, saying,
5 “Lọ padà kí o sì sọ fún Hesekiah, olórí àwọn ènìyàn mi pé, ‘Èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa, Ọlọ́run baba rẹ Dafidi sọ: Mo ti gbọ́ àdúrà rẹ mo sì ti rí omijé rẹ, Èmi yóò wò ọ́ sàn. Ní ọjọ́ kẹta láti ìsinsin yìí, ìwọ yóò lọ sókè ilé tí a kọ́ fún Olúwa.
Turne againe, and tell Hezekiah the captaine of my people, Thus saith the Lord God of Dauid thy father, I haue heard thy prayer, and seene thy teares: behold, I haue healed thee, and ye third day thou shalt go vp to ye house of ye Lord,
6 Èmi yóò fi ọdún mẹ́ẹ̀ẹ́dógún kún ọjọ́ ayé rẹ. Èmi yóò sì gbà ọ́ àti ìlú ńlá yìí láti ọwọ́ ọba Asiria. Èmi yóò sì dáàbò bo ìlú yìí nítorí ti èmi tìkára mi àti nítorí ti Dafidi ìránṣẹ́ mi.’”
And I wil adde vnto thy dayes fiftene yere, and wil deliuer thee and this citie out of the hand of the King of Asshur, and will defende this citie for mine owne sake, and for Dauid my seruats sake.
7 Nígbà náà ni Isaiah wí pé, “Mú odidi ọ̀pọ̀tọ́.” Wọ́n sì mú un, wọ́n sì fi lé oówo náà, ara rẹ̀ sì yá.
Then Isaiah sayde, Take a lumpe of dry figges. And they tooke it, and layed it on the boyle, and he recouered.
8 Hesekiah sì béèrè lọ́wọ́ Isaiah pé, “Kí ni yóò jẹ́ àmì pé Olúwa yóò wò mí sàn àti wí pé èmi yóò lọ sókè sí ilé tí a kọ́ fún Olúwa láti ọjọ́ kẹta títí di òní?”
For Hezekiah had saide vnto Isaiah, What shalbe the signe that the Lord will heale me, and that I shall goe vp into the house of the Lord the thirde day?
9 Isaiah dáhùn pé, “Èyí ni àmì tí Olúwa fún ọ wí pé Olúwa yóò ṣe ohun tí ó ti ṣe ìlérí: kí òjìji lọ síwájú ìgbésẹ̀ mẹ́wàá, tàbí kí ó padà lọ ní ìgbésẹ̀ mẹ́wàá?”
And Isaiah answered, This signe shalt thou haue of the Lord, that the Lord will doe that he hath spoken, Wilt thou that the shadowe goe forwarde ten degrees, or go backe ten degrees?
10 “Ó jẹ́ ohun ìrọ̀rùn fún òjìji láti lọ síwájú ìgbésẹ̀ mẹ́wàá,” Hesekiah wí pé, “Bẹ́ẹ̀ kọ́, jẹ́ kí ó lọ padà ní ìgbésẹ̀ mẹ́wàá.”
And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadowe to passe forward ten degrees: not so then, but let ye shadow go backe ten degrees.
11 Nígbà náà wòlíì Isaiah ké pe Olúwa, Olúwa sì ṣe òjìji padà sí ìgbésẹ̀ mẹ́wàá ó ti sọ̀kalẹ̀ ní òpópó ọ̀nà Ahasi.
And Isaiah the Prophet called vnto the Lord, and he brought againe the shadowe ten degrees backe by the degrees whereby it had gone downe in the diall of Ahaz.
12 Ní àkókò náà ni Merodaki-Baladani ọmọ Baladani ọba Babeli ránṣẹ́ ìwé àti ẹ̀bùn sí Hesekiah nítorí tí ó ti gbọ́ nípa àìsàn Hesekiah.
The same season Berodach Baladan the sonne of Baladan King of Babel, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard howe that Hezekiah was sicke.
13 Hesekiah gba ìránṣẹ́ náà ó sì fihàn wọ́n, gbogbo ohun tí ó wà nínú ilé ìṣúra—sílífà, àti wúrà, àti tùràrí, àti òróró dáradára àti ìhámọ́ra àti gbogbo èyí tí a rí lára ìṣúra rẹ̀. Kò sí nǹkan nínú ààfin rẹ̀ tàbí nínú gbogbo ìjọba rẹ̀ tí Hesekiah kò sì fihàn wọ́n.
And Hezekiah heard them, and shewed them all his treasure house, to wit, the siluer, and the golde, and the spices, and the precious oyntment, and all the house of his armour, and al that was founde in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, and in all his realme, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
14 Nígbà náà Isaiah wòlíì lọ sí ọ̀dọ̀ ọba Hesekiah ó sì béèrè pé, “Kí ni àwọn ọkùnrin náà sọ, àti níbo ni wọ́n ti ń bọ̀ wá?” “Láti ìlú jíjìn réré,” Hesekiah dáhùn. “Wọ́n wá láti Babeli.”
Then Isaiah the Prophet came vnto King Hezekiah, and saide vnto him, What saide these men? and from whence came they to thee? And Hezekiah said, They be come from a farre countrey, euen from Babel.
15 Wòlíì náà béèrè pé, “Kí ni wọ́n rí ní ààfin rẹ?” “Wọ́n rí gbogbo nǹkan ní ààfin mi,” Hesekiah wí pé. “Kò sí nǹkan kan lára àwọn ìṣúra tí èmi kò fihàn wọ́n.”
Then saide he, What haue they seene in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house haue they seene: there is nothing among my treasures, that I haue not shewed the.
16 Nígbà náà Isaiah wí fún Hesekiah pé, “Gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa,
And Isaiah said vnto Hezekiah, Heare the worde of the Lord.
17 àkókò náà yóò sì dé nítòótọ́ nígbà tí gbogbo ohun tí ó wà ní ààfin àti gbogbo ohun tí baba rẹ̀ ti kó pamọ́ sókè títí di ọjọ́ òní, wọn yí ó gbe lọ sí Babeli, kò sí ohun tí yóò kù, ni Olúwa wí.
Beholde, the dayes come, that all that is in thine house, and what so euer thy fathers haue layed vp in store vnto this day, shall be caryed into Babel: Nothing shall be left, saith the Lord.
18 Àti díẹ̀ nínú àwọn ìran rẹ, ẹran-ara rẹ àti ẹ̀jẹ̀, tí wọn yóò bí fún ọ, ni wọn yóò kó lọ, wọn yóò sì di ìwẹ̀fà ní ààfin ọba Babeli.”
And of thy sonnes, that shall proceede out of thee, and which thou shalt beget, shall they take away, and they shalbe eunuches in the palace of the King of Babel.
19 Hesekiah wí fún Isaiah pé. “Rere ni ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tí ìwọ sọ.” Nítorí ó rò wí pé, “Kò ha dára àlàáfíà àti òtítọ́ ní ọjọ́ ayé mi?”
Then Hezekiah said vnto Isaiah, The word of the Lord which thou hast spoken, is good: for saide he, Shall it not be good, if peace and trueth be in my dayes?
20 Ní ti àwọn ìṣẹ̀lẹ̀ tókù nípa ìjọba Hesekiah, gbogbo ohun tí ó ṣe tan àti bí ó ti ṣe adágún omi àti ọ̀nà omi náà nípa èyí tí ó gbé wá omi sínú ìlú ńlá, ṣé wọn kò kọ wọ́n sínú ìwé ìgbésẹ̀ ayé àwọn ọba àwọn Juda?
Concerning the rest of the actes of Hezekiah, and all his valiant deedes, and howe he made a poole and a cundite, and brought water into the citie, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?
21 Hesekiah sì sùn pẹ̀lú àwọn baba rẹ̀: Manase ọmọ rẹ̀ sì jẹ ọba ní ipò rẹ̀.
And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his sonne reigned in his steade.
