< 2 Corinthians 13 >

1 Èyí ni ó dí ìgbà kẹta tí èmi ń tọ̀ yín wá. Ní ẹnu ẹlẹ́rìí méjì tàbí mẹ́ta ni a ó fi ìdí ọ̀rọ̀ gbogbo múlẹ̀.
This intended visit of mine is my third visit to you. "On the evidence of two or three witnesses every charge shall be sustained."
2 Mo ti sọ fún yín ṣáájú, mo sì ń sọ fún yín tẹ́lẹ̀, bí ẹni pé mo wà pẹ̀lú yín nígbà kejì, àti bí èmi kò ti sí lọ́dọ̀ yín ní ìsinsin yìí, mo kọ̀wé sí àwọn tí ó ti ṣẹ̀ náà, àti sí gbogbo àwọn ẹlòmíràn, pé bí mo bá tún padà wá, èmi kì yóò dá wọn sí.
Those who cling to their old sins, and indeed all of you, I have forewarned and still forewarn (as I did on my second visit when present, so I do now, though absent) that, when I come again, I shall not spare you;
3 Níwọ́n bí ẹ̀yin tí ń wá àmì Kristi ti ń sọ̀rọ̀ nínú mi, ẹni tí kì í ṣe àìlera sí yin, ṣùgbọ́n tí ó jẹ́ agbára nínú yín.
since you want a practical proof of the fact that Christ speaks by my lips--He who is not feeble towards you, but powerful among you.
4 Nítorí pé a kàn án mọ́ àgbélébùú nípa àìlera, ṣùgbọ́n òun wà láààyè nípa agbára Ọlọ́run. Nítorí àwa pẹ̀lú jásí aláìlera nínú rẹ̀, ṣùgbọ́n àwa yóò wà láààyè pẹ̀lú rẹ̀ nípa agbára Ọlọ́run sí yín.
For though it is true that He was crucified through weakness, yet He now lives through the power of God. We also are weak, sharing His weakness, but with Him we shall be full of life to deal with you through the power of God.
5 Ẹ máa wádìí ara yín, bí ẹ̀yin bá wà nínú ìgbàgbọ́; ẹ máa dán ara yín wò. Tàbí ẹ̀yin fúnra yín kò mọ ara yín pé Jesu Kristi wá nínú yín? Àfi bí ẹ̀yin bá jẹ́ àwọn tí a tanù.
Test yourselves to discover whether you are true believers: put your own selves under examination. Or do you not know that Jesus Christ is within you, unless you are insincere?
6 Ṣùgbọ́n mo ní ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé pé ẹ̀yin yóò mọ̀ pé, àwa kì í ṣe àwọn tí a tanù.
But I trust that you will recognize that we are not insincere.
7 Ǹjẹ́ àwa ń gbàdúrà sí Ọlọ́run, kì í ṣe nítorí kí àwa lè farahàn bí àwọn ti ó tayọ̀, ṣùgbọ́n kí ẹ̀yin lè máa ṣe èyí tí ó dára bí àwa tilẹ̀ dàbí àwọn tí a tanù.
And our prayer to God is that you may do nothing wrong; not in order that our sincerity may be demonstrated, but that you may do what is right, even though our sincerity may seem to be doubtful.
8 Nítorí àwa kò lè ṣe ohun kan lòdì sí òtítọ́, bí kò ṣe fún òtítọ́.
For we have no power against the truth, but only for the furtherance of the truth;
9 Nítorí àwa ń yọ̀, nígbà ti àwa jẹ́ aláìlera, tí ẹ̀yin sì jẹ́ alágbára; èyí ni àwa sì ń gbàdúrà fún pẹ̀lú, àní pípé yín.
and it is a joy to us when we are powerless, but you are strong. This we also pray for--the perfecting of your characters.
10 Ìdí nìyí ti mo ṣe kọ̀wé àwọn nǹkan wọ̀nyí nígbà tí èmi kò sí lọ́dọ̀ yín, pé nígbà tí mo bá dé kí èmi má ba à lo ìkanra ní lílo àṣẹ, gẹ́gẹ́ bí àṣẹ tí Olúwa ti fi fún mí, láti mú ìdàgbàsókè, kì í ṣe láti fà yín ṣubú.
For this reason I write thus while absent, that when present I may not have to act severely in the exercise of the authority which the Lord has given me for building up, and not for pulling down.
11 Ní àkótán, ará ó dì gbòóṣe, ẹ ṣe àtúnṣe ọ̀nà yín, ẹ tújúká, ẹ jẹ́ onínú kan, ẹ máa wà ní àlàáfíà, Ọlọ́run ìfẹ́ àti ti àlàáfíà yóò wà pẹ̀lú yín.
Finally, brethren, be joyful, secure perfection of character, take courage, be of one mind, live in peace. And then God who gives love and peace will be with you.
12 Ẹ fi ìfẹnukonu mímọ́ kí ara yín.
Salute one another with a holy kiss.
13 Gbogbo àwọn ènìyàn Ọlọ́run níbi kí i yín.
All God's people here send greetings to you.
14 Oore-ọ̀fẹ́ Jesu Kristi Olúwa, àti ìfẹ́ Ọlọ́run, àti ìdàpọ̀ ti Èmí Mímọ́, kí ó wà pẹ̀lú gbogbo yín.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
