2 Chronicles 3
1 Nígbà náà, Solomoni bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí ní kọ́ ilé Olúwa ní Jerusalẹmu lórí òkè Moria, níbi tí Olúwa ti farahan baba a rẹ̀ Dafidi. Ní orí ilẹ̀ ìpakà Arauna ará Jebusi, ibi tí Dafidi pèsè.
And Solomon beginneth to build the house of Jehovah, in Jerusalem, in the mount of Moriah, where He appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared, in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite,
2 Ó bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí kíkọ́ rẹ̀ ní ọjọ́ kejì oṣù kejì ní ọdún kẹrin ìjọba rẹ̀.
and he beginneth to build in the second [day], in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Ìpìlẹ̀ tí Solomoni gbé kalẹ̀ fún kíkọ́ ilé Ọlọ́run jẹ́ ọgọ́ta gígùn ìgbọ̀nwọ́ àti ogún fífẹ̀ ìgbọ̀nwọ́.
And [in] these hath Solomon been instructed to build the house of God: The length [in] cubits by the former measure [is] sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 Ìloro tí ó wà níwájú ilé Olúwa náà jẹ́ ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́ ní gígùn rékọjá fífẹ̀ ilé náà àti gíga rẹ̀ jẹ́ ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́ ní gígùn rékọjá fífẹ̀ ilé náà àti gíga rẹ̀ jẹ́ ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́. Ó tẹ́ inú rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú kìkì wúrà.
As to the porch that [is] on the front, the length [is] by the front of the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height a hundred and twenty, and he overlayeth it within with pure gold.
5 Ó fi igi firi bo ilé yàrá ńlá náà ó sì bò ó pẹ̀lú kìkì wúrà, ó sì ṣe é lọ́ṣọ̀ọ́ pẹ̀lú igi ọ̀pẹ àti àwòrán ẹ̀wọ̀n.
And the large house he hath covered with fir-trees, and he doth cover it with good gold, and causeth to ascend on it palms and chains,
6 Ó ṣe ilé Olúwa náà lọ́ṣọ̀ọ́ pẹ̀lú òkúta iyebíye. Wúrà tí ó lò jẹ́ wúrà parifaimu.
and he overlayeth the house with precious stone for beauty, and the gold [is] gold of Parvaim,
7 Ó tẹ́ àjà ilé náà pẹ̀lú ìtí igi àti ìlẹ̀kùn ògiri àti àwọn ìlẹ̀kùn ilé Olúwa pẹ̀lú wúrà, ó sì gbẹ́ àwòrán kérúbù sára ògiri.
and he covereth the house, the beams, the thresholds, and its walls, and its doors, with gold, and hath graved cherubs on the walls.
8 Ó kọ́ Ibi Mímọ́ Jùlọ, gígùn rẹ̀ bá fífẹ̀ ilé Olúwa mu, ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́ fún gígùn, fífẹ̀ rẹ̀ sì jẹ́ ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́, ó tẹ́ inú rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ẹgbẹ̀ta tálẹ́ǹtì ti wúrà dáradára.
And he maketh the most holy house: its length [is] by the front of the breadth of the house twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits, and he covereth it with good gold, to six hundred talents;
9 Ìwọ̀n àwọn ìṣó náà jẹ́ àádọ́ta ṣékélì. Ó tẹ́ àwọn apẹ òkè pẹ̀lú wúrà.
and the weight of the nails [is] fifty shekels of gold, and the upper chambers he hath covered with gold.
10 Ní Ibi Mímọ́ Jùlọ, ó gbẹ́ àwòrán igi kérúbù kan, ó sì tẹ́ wọn pẹ̀lú wúrà.
And he maketh in the most holy house two cherubs, image work, and he overlayeth them with gold;
11 Iye ìyẹ́ apá ìbú àtẹ́lẹwọ́ lápapọ̀ ní ti kérúbù, jẹ́ ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́ ọ̀kan nínú ìyẹ́ apá ti kérúbù àkọ́kọ́ jẹ́ ìgbọ̀nwọ́ márùn-ún ní gígùn, ó sì farakan ògiri ilé Olúwa. Nígbà tí ìyẹ́ apá kejì jẹ́ ìgbọ̀nwọ́ márùn-ún ní gígùn ó sì, farakan ìyẹ́ apá kérúbù mìíràn.
as to the wings of the cherubs, their length [is] twenty cubits, the wing of the one [is] five cubits, touching the wall of the house, and the other wing [is] five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub.
12 Ní ìjọra, ìyẹ́ apá kan ti kérúbù kejì jẹ́ ìgbọ̀nwọ́ márùn-ún ní gígùn, ó sì farakan ògiri ilé Olúwa mìíràn; ìyẹ́ apá rẹ̀ mìíràn sì jẹ́ ìgbọ̀nwọ́ márùn ní gígùn pẹ̀lú tí ó farakan ìyẹ́ apá kérúbù àkọ́kọ́.
And the wing of the other cherub [is] five cubits touching the wall of the house, and the other wing [is] five cubits, adhering to the wing of the other cherub.
13 Ìyẹ́ apá àwọn kérúbù wọ̀nyí gbà tó ogún ìgbọ̀nwọ́. Wọ́n dúró ní ẹsẹ̀ wọn, wọ́n kọjú sí yàrá pàtàkì ńlá náà.
The wings of these cherubs are spreading forth twenty cubits, and they are standing on their feet and their faces [are] inward.
14 Ó ṣe aṣọ títa ní àwọ̀ ojú ọ̀run, àwọ̀ àlùkò àti àwọ̀ pupa fòò àti aṣọ ọ̀gbọ̀ pẹ̀lú kérúbù tí a ṣe sórí i rẹ̀.
And he maketh the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and causeth cherubs to go up on it.
15 Níwájú ilé Olúwa náà ó ṣe òpó méjì tí lápapọ̀ jẹ́ márùn-ún dín lógójì ìgbọ̀nwọ́ ní gígùn, olúkúlùkù pẹ̀lú olórí lórí rẹ̀ tí o ń wọn ìgbọ̀nwọ́ márùn-ún.
And he maketh at the front of the house two pillars, thirty and five cubits in length, and the ornament that [is] on their heads five cubits.
16 Ó ṣe ẹ̀wọ̀n tí a hun wọ inú ara wọn, ó gbé wọn ká orí òpó náà. Ó ṣe ọgọ́rùn-ún pomegiranate (orúkọ èso igi) ó sì so wọ́n mọ́ àwọn ẹ̀wọ̀n náà
And he maketh chains in the oracle, and putteth on the heads of the pillars, and maketh a hundred pomegranates, and putteth on the chains.
17 Ó gbe òpó náà dúró níwájú ilé Olúwa, ọ̀kan sí gúúsù, pẹ̀lú ọ̀kan sí àríwá. Èyí ti gúúsù, ó sọ ní Jakini àti èyí ti àríwá, ó sọ ní Boasi.
And he raiseth up the pillars on the front of the temple, one on the right, and one on the left, and calleth the name of that on the right Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
