Solomon counted out seventy thousand men to bear burdens, and eighty thousand men who were stone cutters in the mountains, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them.
3 Solomoni rán iṣẹ́ yìí sí Hiramu ọba Tire: “Rán àwọn igi kedari sí mi gẹ́gẹ́ bí o ti ṣe fún baba à mi Dafidi. Nígbà tí ó fi igi kedari ránṣẹ́ sí i láti kọ́ ààfin tí ó ń gbé.
Solomon sent to Hiram the king of Tyre, saying, "As you dealt with David my father, and sent him cedars to build him a house in which to dwell, so deal with me.
4 Nísinsin yìí, èmi n kọ́ ilé kan fún orúkọ Olúwa Ọlọ́run mi àti láti yà á sí mímọ́ fún un àti láti sun tùràrí olóòórùn dídùn níwájú rẹ̀, fún gbígbé àkàrà ìfihàn ìgbàkúgbà, àti fún ṣíṣe ẹbọ sísun ní gbogbo àárọ̀ àti ìrọ̀lẹ́ àti ní ọjọọjọ́ ìsinmi àti oṣù tuntun àti ní àjọ̀dún tí a yàn ti Olúwa Ọlọ́run wa. Look, I am about to build a house for the name of Jehovah my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him incense of sweet spices, and for the continual show bread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts of Jehovah our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.
5 “Ilé Olúwa tí èmi yóò kọ́ yóò tóbi, nítorí pé Ọlọ́run wa tóbi ju gbogbo àwọn ọlọ́run mìíràn lọ.

But who is able to build him a house, since heaven and the heaven of heavens can't contain him? Who am I then, that I should build him a house, except just to burn incense before him?
7 “Nítorí náà, rán ọkùnrin kan sí mi, tí a kọ́ láti ṣiṣẹ́ pẹ̀lú wúrà àti fàdákà àti idẹ àti irin, àti ní àwọ̀ àlùkò àti àwọ̀ pupa fòò àti ní àwọ̀ ojú ọ̀run, tí ó jẹ́ onímọ̀ nínú iṣẹ́ igi gbígbẹ́ láti ṣiṣẹ́ ní Juda àti Jerusalẹmu pẹ̀lú àwọn onímọ̀ oníṣọ̀nà tí baba à mi Dafidi pèsè.
