< 1 Corinthians 3 >

1 Ará, èmí kò sí le bá yín sọ̀rọ̀ bí àwọn tí í ṣe ti Ẹ̀mí, bí kò ṣe bí àwọn ti í ṣe ti ara, àní bí àwọn ọmọ ọwọ́ nínú Kristi.
And so, brothers, I could not address you as spiritual men, but as men of the flesh, as infants in Christ.
2 Wàrà ni mo ti fi bọ́ yín, kì í ṣe oúnjẹ; nítorí ẹ kò í tí le gbà á nísinsin yìí náà, ẹ kò í tí le gbà a.
I fed you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet able to receive it. Even now you are still not able,
3 Nítorí ẹ̀yin jẹ́ ti ara síbẹ̀. Nítorí, níwọ̀n bí owú jíjẹ àti ìjà ṣe wà láàrín ara yín, ẹ̀yin kò ha ṣe ti ayé bí? Ẹ̀yin kò ha ṣe bí ènìyàn lásán bí?
for you are still of the flesh. For where there is jealousy, strife, and division among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving like mere men?
4 Ǹjẹ́ ẹ̀yin kì í ṣe ènìyàn lásán bí? Níwọ́n ìgbà tí ẹ ba ń sọ pé, “Èmi ń tẹ̀lé Paulu,” àti ti ẹlòmíràn tún wí pé, “Èmi ń tẹ̀lé Apollo.”
For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” are you not of the flesh?
5 Jú gbogbo rẹ̀ lọ, kí ni Apollo ha jẹ́, kín ni Paulu sì jẹ́, àwọn ìránṣẹ́ lásán, nípasẹ̀ ẹni tí ẹ̀yin gbàgbọ́, gẹ́gẹ́ bí Olúwa ti fi fún olúkúlùkù.
Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each?
6 Èmi gbìn, Apollo ń bomirin; ṣùgbọ́n Ọlọ́run ni ń mú ìbísí wá.
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.
7 Ǹjẹ́ kì í ṣe ẹni tí ó ń gbìn nǹkan kan, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kì í ṣe ẹni tí ń bomirin; bí kò ṣe Ọlọ́run tí ó ń mú ìbísí wá.
So then, neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but only God who gives the growth.
8 Ẹni tí ó ń gbìn àti ẹni tí ó ń bu omi rín ní ìrònú kan àti èrèdí kan, bí ó tilẹ̀ jẹ́ pé ẹnìkọ̀ọ̀kan wa yóò gba èrè tirẹ̀, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ó ti ṣe é kárakára tó.
He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 A ń bá Ọlọ́run ṣiṣẹ́ pọ̀ ni, ẹ̀yin pàápàá sì jẹ́ ọgbà ohun ọ̀gbìn fún Ọlọ́run, kì í ṣe fún wa, ilé Ọlọ́run ni yín, kì í ṣe ilé tiwa.
For we are fellow workers of God; you are God's field, God's building.
10 Nípa oore-ọ̀fẹ́ tí Ọlọ́run tí fi fún mi, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọlọ́gbọ́n ọ̀mọ̀lé, mo ti fi ìpìlẹ̀ ilé lélẹ̀, ẹlòmíràn sì ń mọ lé e, ṣùgbọ́n kí olúkúlùkù kíyèsára bí yóò ṣe mọ ọ́n lé e.
According to the grace of God given to me, like a wise master builder I have laid a foundation, and another builds upon it. But each person must be careful how he builds upon it.
11 Nítorí kò sí ẹlòmíràn tó le fi ìpìlẹ̀ tòótọ́ mìíràn lélẹ̀ ju èyí tí a fi lélẹ̀ àní Jesu Kristi ni ìpìlẹ̀ náà.
For no one can lay a foundation other than the one that has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Ǹjẹ́ bí ẹnikẹ́ni bá fi wúrà, fàdákà, òkúta olówó-iyebiye, igi, koríko, àgékù koríko mọ lé orí ìpìlẹ̀ yìí.
If anyone builds upon this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,
13 Iṣẹ́ olúkúlùkù ènìyàn yóò hàn, nítorí ọjọ́ náà yóò fi í hàn, nítorí pé nínú iná ni a ó ti fihàn, iná náà yóò sì dán irú iṣẹ́ èyí tí olúkúlùkù ṣe wò.
his work will become evident, for the Day will make it clear, because it is revealed by fire. And the fire will test each person's work and reveal what sort of work it is.
14 Bí iṣẹ́ tí ẹnikẹ́ni bá ṣe lórí rẹ̀ bá dúró, òun yóò sì gba èrè rẹ̀.
If the work that anyone has built remains, he will receive a reward.
15 Bí iṣẹ́ ẹnikẹ́ni bá jóná, òun yóò pàdánù, ṣùgbọ́n òun tìkára rẹ̀ ni a ó gbàlà, ṣùgbọ́n bí ìgbà tí ènìyàn bá la àárín iná kọjá.
If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; yet he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.
16 Ṣé ẹ̀yin kò tilẹ̀ mọ̀ pé tẹmpili Ọlọ́run ni ẹ̀yin jẹ́? Àti pẹ̀lú pe Ẹ̀mí Ọlọ́run ń gbé inú yín?
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
17 Bí ẹnikẹ́ni bá ba tẹmpili Ọlọ́run jẹ́, òun ni Ọlọ́run yóò parun; nítorí pé mímọ́ ni tẹmpili Ọlọ́run, èyí tí ẹ̀yin jẹ́.
If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which is what you are.
18 Kí ẹnikẹ́ni, má ṣe tan ara rẹ̀ jẹ mọ́. Bí ẹnikẹ́ni yín nínú ayé yìí ba rò pé òun gbọ́n, ẹ jẹ́ kí ó di òmùgọ̀ kí ó bá a le è gbọ́n. (aiōn g165)
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, he should become foolish so that he may become truly wise. (aiōn g165)
19 Nítorí ọgbọ́n ayé yìí jẹ́ òmùgọ̀ lọ́dọ̀ Ọlọ́run. Gẹ́gẹ́ bí a ti kọ ọ́ nínú Ìwé Mímọ́ pé, “Ẹni ti tí ó mu àwọn ọlọ́gbọ́n nínú àrékérekè wọn”;
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. As it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,”
20 lẹ́ẹ̀kan sí i, “Olúwa mọ̀ èrò inú àwọn ọlọ́gbọ́n pé asán ní wọn.”
and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”
21 Nítorí kí ẹnikẹ́ni má ṣe ṣògo nínú ènìyàn. Nítorí tí yín ni ohun gbogbo.
So then, let no one boast in men. For everything belongs to you,
22 Ìbá ṣe Paulu, tàbí Apollo, tàbí Kefa, tàbí ayé tàbí ìyè, tàbí ikú, tàbí ohun ìsinsin yìí, tàbí ohun ìgbà tí ń bọ̀; tiyín ni gbogbo wọn.
whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world, or life or death, or things present or things to come—everything belongs to you,
23 Ẹ̀yin sì ni ti Kristi; Kristi sì ni ti Ọlọ́run.
and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
