< 1 Chronicles 29 >

1 Nígbà náà, ọba Dafidi sọ fún gbogbo àpéjọ pé, “Ọmọ mi Solomoni, èyí tí Ọlọ́run ti yàn, sì kéré ó sì jẹ́ aláìmòye. Iṣẹ́ náà tóbi, nítorí ìkọ́lé bí ti ààfin kì í ṣe fún ènìyàn ṣùgbọ́n fún Olúwa Ọlọ́run.
And king David said to all the assembly: Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is as yet young and tender: and the work is great, for a house is prepared not for man, but for God.
2 Pẹ̀lú gbogbo ìrànlọ́wọ́ mi èmi ti pèsè fún ilé Ọlọ́run mi wúrà fún iṣẹ́ wúrà, fàdákà fún ti fàdákà, idẹ fún ti idẹ, irin fún ti irin àti igi fún ti igi àti òkúta oníyebíye fún títọ́ rẹ̀, òkúta lóríṣìíríṣìí, àwọ̀ àti oríṣìíríṣìí ẹ̀yà òkúta àti òkúta dáradára kan gbogbo wọ̀nyí ní iye púpọ̀.
And I with all my ability have prepared the expenses for the house of my God. Gold for vessels of gold, and silver for vessels of silver, brass for things of brass, iron for things of iron, wood for things of wood: and onyx stones, and stones like alabaster, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble of Paros in great abundance.
3 Yàtọ̀ fún èyí, nínú ìfọkànsìn mi sí ilé Ọlọ́run mi, èmí fi ìṣúra mi tìkára mi ti wúrà àti fàdákà fún ilé Ọlọ́run mi. Jù gbogbo rẹ̀ lọ, èmi ti pèsè fún ilé mímọ́ ti Olúwa yìí,
Now over and above the things which I have offered into the house of my God I give of my own proper goods, gold and silver for the temple of my God, beside what things I have prepared for the holy house.
4 ẹgbẹ̀rún mẹ́ta tálẹ́ǹtì wúrà, ti wúrà Ofiri àti ẹ̀ẹ́dẹ́gbàárin tálẹ́ǹtì fàdákà dídára, fún bíbo àwọn ògiri ilé náà.
Three thousand talents of gold of the gold of Ophir: and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the temple.
And gold for wheresoever there is need of gold: and silver for wheresoever there is need of silver, for the works to be made by the hands of the artificers: now if any man is willing to offer, let him fill his hand today, and offer what he pleaseth to the Lord.
6 Nígbà náà àwọn aṣáájú àwọn ìdílé, àwọn ìjòyè àwọn ẹ̀yà Israẹli, àwọn alákòóso ẹgbẹgbẹ̀wàá àti alákòóso ọ̀rọ̀ọ̀rún àti àwọn oníṣẹ́ tí ó wà ní ìdí iṣẹ́ ọba ní ìfẹ́ sí i.
Then the heads of the families, and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captains of thousands, and of hundreds, and the overseers of the king’s possessions promised,
7 Wọ́n fi sílẹ̀ fún iṣẹ́ lórí ilé Ọlọ́run, ẹgbẹ̀rún márùn-ún tálẹ́ǹtì àti ẹgbẹ̀rin mẹ́wàá wúrà, ẹgbẹ̀rún mẹ́wàá tálẹ́ǹtì fàdákà, ẹgbàá mẹ́sàn tálẹ́ǹtì idẹ àti ọgọ́rin ẹgbẹ̀rin tálẹ́ǹtì irin.
And they gave for the works of the house of the Lord, of gold, five thousand talents, and ten thousand solids: of silver ten thousand talents: and of brass eighteen thousand talents: and of iron a hundred thousand talents.
8 Ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó ní òkúta iyebíye fi wọn sí ilé ìṣúra ilé Olúwa ní abẹ́ ìtọ́jú Jehieli ará Gerṣoni.
And all they that had stones, gave them to the treasures of the house of the Lord, by the hand of Jahiel the Gersonite.
9 Àwọn ènìyàn láyọ̀ nínú ìṣesí àtọkànwá fi sílẹ̀ àwọn olórí wọn, nítorí tí wọ́n ti fi sílẹ̀ ní ọ̀fẹ́ pẹ̀lú gbogbo ọkàn sí Olúwa. Dafidi ọba pẹ̀lú yọ̀ gidigidi.
And the people rejoiced, when they promised their offerings willingly: because they offered them to the Lord with all their heart: and David the king rejoiced also with a great joy.
10 Dafidi yin Olúwa níwájú gbogbo àwọn tí ó péjọ, wí pé, “Ìyìn ni fún Ọ, Olúwa, Ọlọ́run baba a wa Israẹli, láé àti láéláé.
And he blessed the Lord before all the multitude, and he said: Blessed art thou, O Lord the God of Israel, our father from eternity to eternity.
11 Tìrẹ Olúwa ni títóbi àti agbára pẹ̀lú ìyìn àti ọláńlá àti dídán, nítorí tí gbogbo nǹkan ní ọ̀run àti ayé jẹ́ tìrẹ. Tìrẹ Olúwa ni ìjọba; a gbé ọ ga gẹ́gẹ́ bí orí lórí ohun gbogbo.
Thine, O Lord, is magnificence, and power, and glory, and victory: and to thee is praise: for all that is in heaven, and in earth, is thine: thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art above all princes.
12 Ọlá àti ọ̀wọ̀ wá láti ọ̀dọ̀ Rẹ; ìwọ ni alákòóso gbogbo nǹkan. Ní ọwọ́ rẹ ni ipá àti agbára wà láti gbéga àti láti fi agbára fún ohun gbogbo.
Thine are riches, and thine is glory, thou hast dominion over all, in thy hand is power and might: in thy hand greatness, and the empire of all things.
13 Nísinsin yìí, Ọlọ́run wa, àwa fi ọpẹ́ fún Ọ, a sì fi ìyìn fún orúkọ rẹ̀ tí ó lógo.
Now therefore our God we give thanks to thee, and we praise thy glorious name.
14 “Ṣùgbọ́n ta ni èmi, àti ta ni àwọn ènìyàn mi, tí a fi lè ṣe ìrànlọ́wọ́ tinútinú bí irú èyí? Gbogbo nǹkan wá láti ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ ní ti wá, àwa sì ti fífún ọ láti ara ohun tí ó wá láti ọwọ́ rẹ.
Who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to promise thee all these things? all things are thine: and we have given thee what we received of thy hand.
15 Àwa jẹ́ àjèjì àti àlejò ní ojú rẹ gẹ́gẹ́ bí baba ńlá a wa, àwọn ọjọ́ wa lórí ilẹ̀ ayé rí bí òjìji láìsí ìrètí.
For we are sojourners before thee, and strangers, as were all our fathers. Our days upon earth are as a shadow, and there is no stay.
16 Olúwa Ọlọ́run wa tí fi gbogbo púpọ̀ yìí tí àwa ti pèsè fún kíkọ́ ilé Olúwa fun orúkọ, mímọ́ rẹ̀, ó wá láti ọwọ́ ọ̀ rẹ, gbogbo rẹ̀ sì jẹ́ tirẹ̀.
O Lord our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee a house for thy holy name, is from thy hand, and all things are thine.
17 Èmi mọ̀ Ọlọ́run mi, wí pé ìwọ̀ dán ọkàn wò, ó sì tẹ́ ọ lọ́rùn pẹ̀lú òtítọ́ inú. Gbogbo nǹkan wọ̀nyí ni èmi ti fi sílẹ̀ pẹ̀lú tìfẹ́tìfẹ́ pẹ̀lú òtítọ́. Nísinsin yìí èmi ti rí i pẹ̀lú ayọ̀ bí àwọn ènìyàn yìí tí ó wà níbí ti fi fún ọ pẹ̀lú tìfẹ́tìfẹ́.
I know my God that thou provest hearts, and lovest simplicity, wherefore I also in the simplicity of my heart, have joyfully offered all these things: and I have seen with great joy thy people, which are here present, offer thee their offerings.
18 Olúwa Ọlọ́run àwọn baba a wa Abrahamu, Isaaki àti Israẹli pa ìfẹ́ yìí mọ́ nínú ọkàn àwọn ènìyàn rẹ títí láé pẹ̀lú pípa ọkàn mọ́ lóòtítọ́ sí ọ.
O Lord God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Israel our fathers, keep for ever this will of their heart, and let this mind remain always for the worship of thee.
19 Àti fún ọmọ mi Solomoni ní ìfọkànsìn tòótọ́ láti pa àṣẹ rẹ mọ́ àwọn ohun tí ó nílò àti òfin àti láti ṣe ohun gbogbo láti kọ́ ààfin bí ti ọba fún èyí tí mo ti pèsè.”
And give to Solomon my son a perfect heart, that he may keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy ceremonies, and do all things: and build the house, for which I have provided the charges.
20 Dafidi sì sọ fún gbogbo ìjọ ènìyàn pé, “Nísinsin yìí, ẹ fi ìyìn fún Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín.” Gbogbo ènìyàn sì fi ìyìn fún Olúwa Ọlọ́run àwọn baba wọn, wọ́n sì tẹ orí wọn ba, wọ́n wólẹ̀ fún Olúwa àti ọba.
And David commanded all the assembly: Bless ye the Lord our God. And all the assembly blessed the Lord the God of their fathers: and they bowed themselves and worshipped God, and then the king.
21 Ni ọjọ́ kejì, wọ́n rú ẹbọ sí Olúwa, wọ́n sì rú ẹbọ sísun sí i: ẹgbẹ̀rún kan akọ màlúù, ẹgbẹ̀rin kan àgbò, àti ẹgbẹ̀rin kan akọ ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn. Lápapọ̀ pẹ̀lú ọrẹ mímu àti àwọn ẹbọ mìíràn ní ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ fún gbogbo Israẹli.
And they sacrificed victims to the Lord: and they offered holocausts the next day, a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, with their libations, and with every thing prescribed most abundantly for all Israel.
22 Wọ́n jẹ wọ́n sì mu pẹ̀lú ayọ̀ kíkún ní iwájú Olúwa ní ọjọ́ náà. Nígbà náà wọ́n yan Solomoni ọmọ Dafidi gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọba lẹ́ẹ̀kejì wọ́n fi àmì òróró yàn án níwájú Olúwa láti ṣe olórí àti Sadoku láti ṣe àlùfáà.
And they ate, and drank before the Lord that day with great joy. And they anointed the second time Solomon the son of David. And they anointed him to the Lord to be prince, and Sadoc to be high priest.
23 Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Solomoni jókòó lórí ìtẹ́ Olúwa gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọba ní ipò baba a rẹ̀ Dafidi. O ṣe àṣeyọrí, gbogbo Israẹli sì gbọ́rọ̀ sí i lẹ́nu.
And Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and he pleased all: and all Israel obeyed him.
24 Gbogbo àwọn ìjòyè àti àwọn ọkùnrin alágbára, pẹ̀lú gbogbo àwọn ọmọ ọba Dafidi tẹrí ara wọn ba fún ọba Solomoni.
And all the princes, and men of power, and all the sons of king David gave their hand, and were subject to Solomon the king.
25 Olúwa gbé Solomoni ga púpọ̀ ní ojú gbogbo Israẹli, ó sì kẹ́ ẹ ní ìkẹ́ ọláńlá, ní irú èyí tí a kò kẹ́ ọba kankan ṣáájú rẹ̀ tí ó jẹ lórí Israẹli.
And the Lord magnified Solomon over all Israel: and gave him the glory of a reign, such as no king of Israel had before him.
26 Dafidi ọmọ Jese jẹ́ ọba lórí gbogbo Israẹli.
So David the son of Isai reigned over all Israel.
27 Ó jẹ ọba lórí Israẹli fún ogójì ọdún; ọdún méje ni ó jẹ ọba ní Hebroni, ó sì jẹ ọba ní ọdún mẹ́tàlélọ́gbọ̀n ní Jerusalẹmu.
And the days that he reigned over Israel, were forty years: in Hebron he reigned seven years, and in Jerusalem three and thirty years.
28 Òun sì darúgbó, ó sì kú ikú rere, ó gbádùn ẹ̀mí gígùn, ọlá àti ọrọ̀. Solomoni ọmọ rẹ̀ sì jẹ ọba ní ipò rẹ̀.
And he died in a good age, full of days, and riches, and glory. And Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
29 Ní ti ohun tí ó ṣẹlẹ̀ nígbà ìjọba ọba Dafidi, láti ìbẹ̀rẹ̀ dé òpin, a kọ wọ́n sínú ìwé ìrántí ti Samuẹli aríran, ìwé ìrántí ti Natani wòlíì àti ìwé ìrántí ti Gadi aríran,
Now the acts of king David first and last are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer:
30 lápapọ̀, pẹ̀lú gbogbo ìjọba àti agbára rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú àwọn ìgbà tí ó kọjá lórí rẹ̀, àti lórí Israẹli, àti lórí gbogbo àwọn ìjọba gbogbo ilẹ̀ náà.
And of all his reign, and his valour, and of the times that passed under him, either in Israel, or in all the kingdoms of the countries.
