1 Chronicles 24
1 Àwọn wọ̀nyí sì ni pínpín àwọn ọmọ Aaroni. Àwọn ọmọ Aaroni ni Nadabu, Abihu, Eleasari àti Itamari.
Now, the sons of Aaron, had their courses, —the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;
2 Ṣùgbọ́n Nadabu àti Abihu kú kí ó tó di wí pé baba wọn kú, wọn kò sì ní àwọn ọmọ; bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Eleasari àti Itamari sì ṣe gẹ́gẹ́ bí àlùfáà.
but Nadab and Abihu, died, before their father, and sons, had they none, —but Eleazar and Ithamar became priests;
3 Pẹ̀lú ìrànlọ́wọ́ Sadoku ọmọ Eleasari àti Ahimeleki ọmọ Itamari, Dafidi sì yà wọ́n nípa nínú ìpín fún ìyàsọ́tọ̀ àwọn iṣẹ́ ìsìn wọn.
and David apportioned to them courses, both to Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and to Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, —by their appointed place in their service.
4 A rí ọ̀pọ̀ àwọn olórí lára àwọn ọmọ Eleasari ju lára àwọn ọmọ Itamari lọ, wọ́n sì pín wọn lẹ́sẹ lẹ́sẹ: mẹ́rìndínlógún olórí láti ìdílé ọmọ Eleasari ìran wọn àti olórí méjọ ìdílé láti ara àwọn ọmọ Itamari.
But the sons of Eleazar were found to be more numerous, by the chiefs of their able men, than were the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them, —the sons of Eleazar, had chiefs, of the ancestral house, sixteen, whereas, the sons of Ithamar, had of their ancestral house, eight.
5 Wọ́n sì pín wọn láìṣègbè nípa yíya ìpín, nítorí àwọn olórí ibi mímọ́ àti àwọn olórí ilé Ọlọ́run wà láàrín àwọn ọmọ méjèèjì Eleasari àti Itamari.
They divided them, therefore, by [casting] lots, these with those, —for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, from among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.
6 Ṣemaiah ọmọ Netaneli, akọ̀wé ọ̀kan lára àwọn ọmọ Lefi sì kọ orúkọ wọn níwájú ọba àti àwọn ìjòyè: Sadoku àlùfáà, Ahimeleki ọmọ Abiatari àti olórí ìdílé àwọn àlùfáà tí a mú láti ọ̀dọ̀ Eleasari àti ọ̀kan láti ọ̀dọ̀ Itamari.
And Shemaiah son of Nethanel the scribe from among the Levites, wrote them down, before the king and the rulers and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, —one ancestral house, was taken for Eleazar, and, was equally taken, for Ithamar.
7 Ìpín èkínní jáde sí Jehoiaribu, èkejì sí Jedaiah,
So then the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah, the second;
8 ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kẹta sì ni Harimu, ẹ̀kẹrin sì ní Seorimu,
for Harim, the third, for Seorim, the fourth;
9 ẹ̀karùnún sì ni Malkiah, ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kẹfà sì ni Mijamini,
for Malchijah, the fifth, for Mijamin, the sixth;
10 èkeje sì ni Hakosi, ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kẹjọ sí ni Abijah,
for Hakkoz, the seventh, for Abijah, the eighth;
11 ẹ̀kẹsànán sì ni Jeṣua, ẹ̀kẹwàá sì ni Ṣekaniah,
for Jeshua, the ninth, for Shecaniah, the tenth;
12 ẹ̀kọkànlá sì ni Eliaṣibu, ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kẹjìlá sì ni Jakimu,
for Eliashib, the eleventh, for Jakim, the twelfth;
13 ẹ̀kẹtàlá sì ni Hupa, ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kẹrìnlá sì ni Jeṣebeabu,
for Huppah, the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab, the fourteenth;
14 ẹ̀kẹdógún sì ni Bilgah, ẹ̀kẹrìndínlógún sì ni Immeri,
for Bilgah, the fifteenth, for Immer, the sixteenth;
15 ẹ̀kẹtàdínlógún sì ni Hesiri, èkejìdínlógún sì ni Hafisesi,
for Hezir, the seventeenth, for Happizzez, the eighteenth;
16 ẹ̀kọkàndínlógún sì ni Petahiah, ogún sì ni Jeheskeli,
for Pethahiah, the nineteenth, for Jehezkel, the twentieth;
17 ẹ̀kọkànlélógún sì ni Jakini, ẹ̀kẹrìnlélógún sì ni Gamuli,
for Jachin, the twenty-first, for Gamul, the twenty-second;
18 ẹ̀kẹtàlélógún sì ni Delaiah, ẹ̀kẹrìnlélógún sì ni Maasiah.
for Delaiah, the twenty-third, for Maaziah, the twenty-fourth.
19 Àwọn wọ̀nyí ni a yàn fún iṣẹ́ ìsìn nígbà tí wọ́n wọ ilé Olúwa, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìlànà àti àṣẹ tí a ti fi fún wọn láti ọwọ́ baba ńlá wọn Aaroni gẹ́gẹ́ bí Olúwa, Ọlọ́run Israẹli, tí pàṣẹ fun un.
These, were their appointed places for their service, for entering the house of Yahweh, according to the regulation of them, by the hand of Aaron their father, —just as Yahweh God of Israel, commanded him.
20 Ìyókù àwọn ọmọ Lefi. Láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn ọmọ Amramu: Ṣubaeli láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn ọmọ Ṣubaeli; Jehdeiah.
Now, as for the sons of Levi who remained, of the sons of Amram, Shubael, of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.
21 Àti gẹ́gẹ́ bí Rehabiah, láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn ọmọ Rehabiah, Iṣiah sì ni alákọ́kọ́.
Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the chief Isshiah;
22 Láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn ọmọ Isari: Ṣelomiti; láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn ọmọ Ṣelomoti: Jahati.
of the Izharites, Shelomoth, —of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath;
23 Àwọn ọmọ Hebroni: Jeriah alákọ́kọ́, Amariah ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kejì, Jahasieli ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kẹta àti Jekameamu ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kẹrin.
and, the sons [of Hebron], Jeriah, —Amariah, the second, Jehaziel, the third, Jekameam, the fourth;
24 Àwọn ọmọ Usieli: Mika; nínú àwọn ọmọ Mika: Ṣamiri.
the sons of Uzziel, Micah, of the sons of Micah, Shamir;
25 Àwọn arákùnrin Mika: Iṣi; nínú àwọn ọmọ Iṣiah: Sekariah.
the brother of Micah, Isshiah, of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.
26 Àwọn ọmọ Merari: Mahili àti Muṣi. Àwọn ọmọ Jaasiah: Beno.
The sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi, —the sons of Jaaziah, Beno;
27 Àwọn ọmọ Merari. Láti Jaasiah: Beno, Ṣohamu, Sakkuri àti Ibri.
the sons of Merari, of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri:
28 Láti Mahili: Eleasari, ẹni tí kò ni àwọn ọmọ.
of Mahli, Eleazar, who had no sons;
29 Láti Kiṣi. Àwọn ọmọ Kiṣi: Jerahmeeli.
of Kish—the sons of Kish, Jerameel;
30 Àti àwọn ọmọ Muṣi: Mahili, Ederi àti Jerimoti. Èyí ni àwọn ọmọ Lefi, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn.
and, the sons of Mushi, Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These, were the sons of the Levites, belonging to their ancestral house.
31 Wọ́n sì ṣé kèké gẹ́gẹ́ bí àwọn arákùnrin wọn àwọn ọmọ Aaroni ṣe ṣẹ́, níwájú ọba Dafidi àti Sadoku, Ahimeleki, àti olórí ìdílé àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn ọmọ Lefi. Àwọn ìdílé àgbàgbà arákùnrin wọ́n sì ṣe bẹ́ẹ̀ lórí àwọn arákùnrin wọn kéékèèké.
Moreover, they also, cast lots along with their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, the ancestral chief along with his younger brethren.
