1 Àwọn wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ Israẹli. Reubeni, Simeoni, Lefi, Juda, Isakari, Sebuluni,
These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,
2 Dani, Josẹfu, Benjamini; Naftali, Gadi: àti Aṣeri.
Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 Àwọn ọmọ Juda: Eri, Onani àti Ṣela, àwọn mẹ́tẹ̀ẹ̀ta wọ̀nyí ni wọ́n bí fún un láti ọ̀dọ̀ arábìnrin Kenaani, ọmọbìnrin Ṣua. Eri àkọ́bí Juda, ó sì burú ní ojú Olúwa, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Olúwa sì pa á.
The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah, which three were born to him of Shua’s daughter the Canaanitess. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the LORD’s sight; and he killed him.

Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

The sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.

The sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara—five of them in all.
7 Àwọn ọmọ Karmi: Akani, ẹni tí ó mú ìyọnu wá sórí Israẹli nípa ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ìfibú lórí mímú ohun ìyàsọ́tọ̀.
The son of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass in the devoted thing.
8 Àwọn ọmọ Etani: Asariah.
The son of Ethan: Azariah.
9 Àwọn ọmọ tí a bí fún Hesroni ni: Jerahmeeli, Ramu àti Kalebu.
The sons also of Hezron, who were born to him: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai.
10 Ramu sì ni baba Amminadabu, àti Amminadabu baba Nahiṣoni olórí àwọn ènìyàn Juda.
Ram became the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
11 Nahiṣoni sì ni baba Salmoni, Salmoni ni baba Boasi,
and Nahshon became the father of Salma, and Salma became the father of Boaz,
12 Boasi baba Obedi àti Obedi baba Jese.
and Boaz became the father of Obed, and Obed became the father of Jesse;
13 Jese sì ni baba Eliabu àkọ́bí rẹ̀; ọmọ ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kejì sì ni Abinadabu, ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kẹta ni Ṣimea,
and Jesse became the father of his firstborn Eliab, Abinadab the second, Shimea the third,
14 ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kẹrin Netaneli, ẹlẹ́ẹ̀karùnún Raddai,
Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15 ẹlẹ́ẹ̀kẹfà Osemu àti ẹlẹ́ẹ̀keje Dafidi.
Ozem the sixth, and David the seventh;
16 Àwọn arábìnrin wọn ni Seruiah àti Abigaili. Àwọn ọmọ mẹ́ta Seruiah ni Abiṣai, Joabu àti Asaheli.
and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. The sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel, three.
17 Abigaili ni ìyá Amasa, ẹni tí baba rẹ̀ sì jẹ́ Jeteri ará Iṣmaeli.
Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
18 Kalebu ọmọ Hesroni ní ọmọ láti ọ̀dọ̀ ìyàwó rẹ̀ Asuba (láti ọ̀dọ̀ Jerioti). Àwọn wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀: Jeṣeri, Ṣobabu àti Ardoni.
Caleb the son of Hezron became the father of children by Azubah his wife, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.
19 Nígbà tí Asuba sì kú, Kalebu sì fẹ́ Efrata ní aya, ẹni tí ó bí Huri fún un.
Azubah died, and Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.
20 Huri ni baba Uri, Uri sì jẹ́ baba Besaleli.
Hur became the father of Uri, and Uri became the father of Bezalel.
21 Nígbà tí ó yá, Hesroni sì dùbúlẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ọmọbìnrin Makiri baba Gileadi (ó sì ti fẹ́ ní aya láti ìgbà tí ó ti wà ní ẹni ọgọ́ta ọdún) ó sì bí Segubu.
Afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he took as wife when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub.
22 Segubu sì jẹ́ baba Jairi, ẹni tí ó jẹ́ olùdarí ìlú mẹ́tàlélógún ní ilẹ̀ Gileadi.
Segub became the father of Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.
23 (Ṣùgbọ́n Geṣuri àti Aramu sì fi agbára gba Hafoti-Jairi, àti Kenati pẹ̀lú gbogbo agbègbè rẹ̀ tí wọn tẹ̀dó sí jẹ́ ọgọ́ta ìlú.) Gbogbo wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ Makiri baba Gileadi.
Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and its villages, even sixty cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
24 Lẹ́yìn tí Hesroni sì kú ni Kalebu Efrata, Abijah ìyàwó rẹ̀ ti Hesroni sì bí Aṣihuri baba Tekoa fún un.
After Hezron died in Caleb Ephrathah, Abijah, Hezron’s wife, bore him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.
25 Ọmọ Jerahmeeli àkọ́bí Hesroni: Ramu ọmọ àkọ́bí rẹ̀ Buna, Oreni, Osemu àti Ahijah.
The sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were Ram the firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.
26 Jerahmeeli ní ìyàwó mìíràn, ẹni tí orúkọ rẹ̀ ń jẹ́ Atara; ó sì jẹ́ ìyá fún Onamu.
Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah. She was the mother of Onam.
27 Àwọn ọmọ Ramu àkọ́bí Jerahmeeli: Maasi, Jamini àti Ekeri.
The sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.
28 Àwọn ọmọ Onamu: Ṣammai àti Jada. Àwọn ọmọ Ṣammai: Nadabu àti Abiṣuri.
The sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 Orúkọ ìyàwó Abiṣuri ni Abihaili ẹni tí ó bí Ahbani àti Molidi.
The name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bore him Ahban and Molid.
30 Àwọn ọmọ Nadabu Seledi àti Appaimu. Seledi sì kú láìsí ọmọ.
The sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; but Seled died without children.
31 Àwọn ọmọ Appaimu: Iṣi, ẹni tí ó jẹ́ baba fún Ṣeṣani. Ṣeṣani sì jẹ́ baba fún Ahlai.
The son of Appaim: Ishi. The son of Ishi: Sheshan. The son of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32 Àwọn ọmọ Jada, arákùnrin Ṣammai: Jeteri àti Jonatani. Jeteri sì kú láìní ọmọ.
The sons of Jada the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.
33 Àwọn ọmọ Jonatani: Peleti àti Sasa. Àwọn wọ̀nyí ni ọmọ Jerahmeeli.
The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34 Ṣeṣani kò sì ní ọmọkùnrin àwọn ọmọbìnrin nìkan ni ó ní. Ó sì ní ìránṣẹ́ ará Ejibiti tí orúkọ rẹ̀ ń jẹ́ Jariha.
Now Sheshan had no sons, but only daughters. Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
35 Ṣeṣani sì fi ọmọ obìnrin rẹ̀ ní aya fún ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀ Jariha, ó sì bí ọmọ fún tí orúkọ rẹ̀ jẹ́ Attai.
Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant as wife; and she bore him Attai.
36 Attai sì jẹ́ baba fún Natani, Natani sì jẹ́ baba fún Sabadi,
Attai became the father of Nathan, and Nathan became the father of Zabad,
37 Sabadi ni baba Eflali, Eflali jẹ́ baba Obedi,
and Zabad became the father of Ephlal, and Ephlal became the father of Obed,
38 Obedi sì ni baba Jehu, Jehu ni baba Asariah,
and Obed became the father of Jehu, and Jehu became the father of Azariah,
39 Asariah sì ni baba Helesi, Helesi ni baba Eleasa,
and Azariah became the father of Helez, and Helez became the father of Eleasah,
40 Eleasa ni baba Sismai, Sismai ni baba Ṣallumu,
and Eleasah became the father of Sismai, and Sismai became the father of Shallum,
41 Ṣallumu sì ni baba Jekamiah, Jekamiah sì ni baba Eliṣama.
and Shallum became the father of Jekamiah, and Jekamiah became the father of Elishama.
42 Àwọn ọmọ Kalebu arákùnrin Jerahmeeli: Meṣa àkọ́bí rẹ̀, ẹni tí ó jẹ́ baba fún Sifi, àti àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀ Meraṣa, ẹni tí ó jẹ́ baba fún Hebroni.
The sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
43 Àwọn ọmọ Hebroni: Kora, Tapua, Rekemu, àti Ṣema.
The sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.
44 Ṣema ni baba Rahamu, Rahamu sì jẹ́ baba fún Jorkeamu. Rekemu sì ni baba Ṣammai.
Shema became the father of Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem became the father of Shammai.
45 Àwọn ọmọ Ṣammai ni Maoni, Maoni sì ni baba Beti-Suri.
The son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth Zur.
46 Efani obìnrin Kalebu sì ni ìyá Harani, Mosa àti Gasesi, Harani sì ni baba Gasesi.
Efah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez; and Haran became the father of Gazez.
47 Àwọn ọmọ Jahdai: Regemu, Jotamu, Geṣani, Peleti, Efani àti Ṣaafu.
The sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jothan, Geshan, Pelet, Efah, and Shaaph.
48 Maaka obìnrin Kalebu sì ni ìyá Seberi àti Tirhana.
Maacah, Caleb’s concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.
49 Ó sì bí Ṣaafu baba Madmana, Ṣefa baba Makbena àti baba Gibeah, ọmọbìnrin Kalebu sì ni Aksa.
She bore also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50 Àwọn wọ̀nyí ni ọmọ Kalebu. Àwọn ọmọ Huri, àkọ́bí Efrata: Ṣobali baba Kiriati-Jearimu.
These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah: Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim,
51 Salma baba Bẹtilẹhẹmu àti Harefu baba Beti-Gaderi.
Salma the father of Bethlehem, and Hareph the father of Beth Gader.
52 Àwọn ọmọ Ṣobali baba Kiriati-Jearimu ni: Haroe, ìdajì àwọn ará Manaheti.
Shobal the father of Kiriath Jearim had sons: Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.
53 Àti ìdílé Kiriati-Jearimu: àti àwọn ara Itri, àti àwọn ará Puti, àti àwọn ará Ṣumati àti àwọn ará Miṣraiti: láti ọ̀dọ̀ wọn ni àwọn ọmọ ará Sorati àti àwọn ará Eṣtaoli ti wá.
The families of Kiriath Jearim: the Ithrites, the Puthites, the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; from them came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.
54 Àwọn ọmọ Salma: Bẹtilẹhẹmu, àti àwọn ará Netofa, Atrotu Beti-Joabu, ìdajì àwọn ará Manahati, àti ará Sori,
The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth Beth Joab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.
55 àti àwọn ìdílé àwọn akọ̀wé, ẹni tí ń gbé ní Jabesi: àti àwọn ọmọ Tirati àti àwọn ará Ṣimeati àti àwọn ará Sukati. Àwọn wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ará Keni, ẹni tí ó wá láti ọ̀dọ̀ Hamati, baba ilé Rekabu.
The families of scribes who lived at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and the Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
